  1. Happy birthday thar!

  2. Happy birthday.

  3. TBH I wish the boost gameplay hadn't been ditched so fast. Generations came close to perfecting it and I think one more game with a bit more of an open world have done well for it.

      Agreed X a million

I don't have much of a problem with what Lost World tried but I think just playing with the engine they already had together a bit more would have given us a more solid game.

Honestly if it were up to me 100% the boost formula would have been here to stay. They finally struck gold and found something that really worked...and then they just abandoned it. I like the general style of Lost World though, and I'm curious to see how they improve it.

  4. I was literally just sitting there thinking "You know the Sonic fanbase isn't that bad" after I saw a pretty well written review. And then I happened to find one of Sammy Classic Sonic Fan's videos. WTF YouTube. Not cool

Bang on time for another 'Sonic 06 isn't bad' moment, here at our very own Stadium!

Too much hope? Not on YouTube's watch!

I feel sorry for the kid, really. This shit will haunt him for the rest of his life.

  5. Sonic Adventure 3 would be ni-- Nah, but seriously Sonic Advance. The best portable Sonic games to come out thus far in my opinion. They were the best SEGA has done at taking the classic games and adding while still keeping in touch with roots. Plus, it'd be cool to see what kinds of things they could do with those games on today's handhelds.
  6. I would love to go to SoS someday...if only for the merch, even

I got my Japanese copy of Chaotix, and 95% of my Archie comic collection, from SoS'11.

  7. Soooo what do you guys think online is going to be like (just speculating) since we haven't seen the trailer yet?
  8. Wrath of Cortex is legitimately one of the most underrated games ever. Crash 2 and 3 are better, sure, but I honestly think it can be argued that in some ways 4 is better than 1. Why do people hate on this game so much? I hear them talk bad about it but never say why they don't like it.

It was actually my first (and only) Crash game.

No, :P although you are missing out on some good games

Of what I played of Twinsanity, it was rather fun.

And I hear a lot of badmouthing about Titans, but the DS version is actually pretty good.

Twinsanity is def the best to come out of the PS2, GC, and XBOX era.

4 is simply copying 3. 4 is less polished and some of the gameplay is very poorly designed.

It's important to remember that 4 was made by a totally different group of people. Also it introduced more levels with Coco where she was actually on foot and she controlled a bit different.

  9. 1. Lots of characters aren't necessarily a bad idea as long as they serve a purpose and are developed enough. Hell, look at the Sly games. In Sly 3 Penelope serves literally no purpose outside of being a love interest for Bentley. When Sanzaru took over for Thieves in Time though, they gave her an actually kind of cool and genuinely surprising role by making her one of the main villains. Make characters memorable and unique, not lame stereotypes with little to no personality. 2. Eggman appearing in every game is not healthy for him as a villain or for the series. New villains can be cool if they're done right. The only problem is they're always so out of place in a Sonic game. Make more suitable villains who are cool in their own right and it will help keep Eggman fresh whenever he shows up again. 3. Oh and I don't care if Chip was Light Gaia he was still a stupid character in my opinion.
