Penders better watch himself. A certain person compared Sonic to real life events recently and it didn't end well for him. Of course, both of these people are egotistical crazies who do anything for attention so pea's in a pod.

This is ridiculous. Well, it already was, but this was the last straw for me reading through all this. Please stop ignoring what people are saying and pretending to not have read any of it.
In fact this topic is very stupid and I'm locking it. Bye.

The Tenth Doctor reacted to Dr. Mechano in The Avatar and Signature Topic
After seeing the rather interesting video about Brazilian Eggman, a bizarre feature on an official Sega game show called Play Game, I had to rep the guy here.
Since my avatar/signature no longer follows the Eggette theme, I also updated my signature with Eggman punching down a wall in Lost World, because it's badass.

The Tenth Doctor reacted to Dreadknux in TSSZ is gone?
Yeah, this is quite a surprising turn of events. For what it's worth, I was supporting of TSSZ's coverage/amplification of news surrounding the BLM protests before the 'Sonic Adventure 2/Sonic Forces comparison' tweet happened. I can certainly see the argument that, as long as you're not editorialising anything, letting your audience (who may only know about Sonic depending on what accounts they follow) know about a huge cultural event taking place is important. Even if he did go a bit ham on the retweets, but that's neither here or there.
The comparison tweet was a misstep though, and should have resulted in a walkback from TSSZ. Sadly, that didn't happen - maybe it was heat of the moment (always a good reason to take a break from social media every now and then), or lockdown anxiety or something, but the response to community reaction to that particular tweet could have been handled better.
It certainly doesn't necessitate a shutdown of the site. For better or worse, TSSZ has been an important part of the online Sonic community and we're all the poorer for it not existing (at the very least, in archive form). I hope Tristan takes a few days to cool off and figure out a new way forward.

Out of all the characters, I can see Metal Sonic working the most for the sequel. They'd replace Silver Sonic with Metal since he's better known and Robotnik would use the quill from Sonic he still he still has to power him. Big if though, since Amy and Knuckles need a bit more explanation.

I pity anyone who would write/draw/work for Ken. He's shown to be incredibly nitpicky over any art that isn't his, especially fan artists. The work they hand in would be skewed by him until its unrecognizable.

OK so I've been a nerd. Been trying to find what Crush 40 songs Robotnik was listening to. Now it may look like 7 tracks but the last 3 are the same as the first 3. So 4 tracks.

Track 1 is about 3:52. I Am (All of Me) is about that length. Track 2 is 3:25 which is darn close to Free. Track 3 is 4:05, the closest I found to that is With Me at 3:57. Track 4 is 2:50, almost perfectly Sonic Boom. Then its just track 1-3 again.
Course that's me just approximating, just thought it was fun.

You're very right. I'd heard of that and I do have sympathy for him there. I have a bad relationship with my Dad and I can understand how it can manipulate what you do. It just didn't do him good to write a character into Sonic that was like him. It meant that the character would have to be kept in a glass box and kept exactly like his Dad to appease him. Its a very dangerous game writing your life into a story, especially when you are not guaranteed to have 100% control of the story forever. When he came in Ian didn't know Ken's Dad, he could never write him exactly the same.

Okay I'll give it a go.
Under Ken's pen, Geoffery St John was a sexual predator who was an asshole for the sake of it. Under Ian's pen he had reasons added for being a dick, even regretted it and felt ashamed on how his marriage went. Under Ken's pen, Evil Sonic was an annoyance who came in to sleep with anyone he could. Under Ian's pen, he changed his identity, had an identity crisis, became a threat and became a one woman guy (from the looks of it). Under Ken's pen, Locke was a monster who microwaved his son, abandoned him, showed no love in his heart, yet we kept being told he was a good father. Under Ian's pen, Locke realised his mistakes (not without almost doing one more, but he realised it) and pleaded with the Master Emerald to give his son a life, in exchange for his.
If I recall, Ken has stated he intended to write these 3 characters the exact same way he always did if he continued. He was offended Locke died heroically and wanted him to die a disgruntled old man, filled with cancer (I think it was cancer, right?). He has made it clear Ian never got Geoffery, which is why Geoffery's libido is never mentioned any more. He says Scourge was better as a petty mimic, rather than a fleshed out character. I will never understand this abstract of a human being, he is too far gone in the dark pit of ego to even remember what humility is.

I think a big problem is just how cluttered it is. There’s information present totally unneeded, yet information not present that is mandatory. We don’t need a copyright notice that size, nor in that placement, it’s placed in small text on the outer portion of the image in order to not obscure the disc image, while giving it good space. This has been literally standard for two decades, and not just on DVDs/Blu-Rays, but on video games since at the very least - the PS1/PS2 eras.
There’s no need to have the Floating Island Productions logo take up so much room. Ideally, it shouldn’t be there at all, but if it has to be, make it smaller. Blu-Rays nowadays do include the logos, but that’s because these days, Blu-Rays are literally just blue discs with the film logo, company logos, and that’s it, if you want a graphic design, this is a horrible idea. For example, Dragon Ball Super’s Blu-Ray releases have custom art on every single disc, and achieves it to good effect with a standardised design, you have the logos very small and out of the way around the sides and bottom, while having the main art be the showcase.
There’s no reason to have the Dolby logo there, or if there was, then it should not be so large and take up so much room. On the same notion, there’s no clear room for age ratings, which is required, and typically in large as well so why hasn’t that been accounted for?
The art itself is laughably terrible, it’s far too busy for its own good, the explosion image is a horrible JPEG, and the stock family isn’t even properly combined with the backgrounds, there’s very strange outlines indicating poor green screening of some kind.
