There's a lot of One Piece openings that I adore (mostly in the earlier run) but I wouldn't have minded at all if the show just simply used We Are! for the entire 20+ year run like how Hunter x Hunter 2011 used Departure.

You know, I just had a random idea for doing something different in Forces, don’t know if it is good or not but...
What if Sonic remained a prisoner for a decent chunk of the story, and instead of being locked away on a Death Egg (therefore making it more unbelievable the others thought he was dead for so long), he was instead trapped in Null Space? That was Sonic’s prison the entire time, and a significant chunk of time is under assumption that maybe Sonic really is gone, with only a few moments of foreshadowing that he’s alive (for example, Eggman referring to him in present tense). So later when you get sent to Null Space yourself, it comes off as something of a twist when you find him, and furthermore actually adds more impact to the two managing to double boost out of Null Space?

Well, I was already at the point with Smash Ultimate where they could have literally stopped revealing characters before the direct, and I would have been happy with the roster, so the new additions come off more as a bonus to me.

Even though I like the Sun and Moon anime's look and praise it's smooth animation, I'll admit that X&Y was probably my favorite aesthetic of the modern era, even if it only brought out its absolute best during battles, (vs Sun & Moon being at it's best at all times mosty.) X&Y's battle animations were like a realization of how I'd always picture the battles going in my head when playing the games as a kid tbh.
