Hm... is it just me, or does the silhouettes there make Magiana look kinda like Muffet from Undertale?
-
Sega actually cares enough about the Archie Sonic series to consider making a game adaptation of it?

However unlikely it may still be, I'd love to see a Western release of Mother 3, if only to have the opportunity to play as Duster and Kumatora once more. The entire party is awesome, but I especially dig those two.

Mac and Linux version were just cancelled, because WB.

The amount of commitment WB Games has put towards Arkham Knight on PC is about as much as picking up a pencil and barely having the strength to continue holding it.
Well, considering how the PC launch in general went down last year, I guess it was only a matter of time that they'd torch the thing and run. Still, though, this is a major bummer on their part that things turn out the way they did.

Right now, I'm more surprised that Sonic is set so high on the tier list here. I mean, I remember how he was cast close to the bottom for Brawl for his overall low killing potential, and then I see this and I'm now like, "So this is what he's like when he's not a late addition... Neat."

Making Tails an asshole in SLW? One dimensional D6? Boring script for Generations besides one or two quips? Sonic Colours was their best effort and even that wasn't perfect besides the amazing Eggman PA announcements.
Well, let's at least be a little fair now: Isn't the fact that they apparently have to conduct research on the series through Wikipedia (which isn't inherently a bad thing, guys--only when it's your only source of info) when they (should) have direct access to the horse's mouth by their very job position at least make Sega/Sonic Team just as culpable of the current stories's numerous foibles and mistakes?

Yeah, I'm gonna stay on the Fence of Cautious Optimism for the time being, too.
With the 11-minute format setup coupled with CN's current focus on comedy-based shows, among other factors, there's just too big a chance of the show basically serving as the Justice League equivalent of Teen Titans Go! for my liking, so I'd rather watch some preview footage first before I proceed further with my thoughts.

Well, I can't say that I'm surprised by this confirmation of sorts. I just wish that the fanbase didn't act as if this news is the end of the world or something hyperbolic like that there--it's one thing to not be fond of them; it's another to be needlessly mean about it.

From what I can remember, the controversy with him involves his trying to restore his world from its forced dreamlike state, even though his friends and acquaintances aren't necessarily down with it.

Hm, I can't help but wonder what the chances are of having Marche (from FF Tactics Advance) appear in this game. Is he still too controversial to consider?

Speaking of controllers, here's something to keep in mind: That Pokken Tournament controller can not only, only be used for that game, but it apparently can't be used by Player 1.

Hm, part of me thinks that, since the Great Detective Pikachu is the only Pokemon that's a talker so far, there's at least a slight possibility that they could be a transformed human, a la the Mystery Dungeon games. I could be wrong and there could be other Pokemon talkers that'll appear as things go along. Still, though...

Well, geez. No wonder it's been having all of these delays! Maybe Inafune should've limited himself to just the 8th Gen consoles...

... Okay, I gotta ask: How many systems is this game set to be available for, again?

25 minutes ago, Mikyeong said:So, we want to know, what do you think of the game?
Hm, when it comes to this game, I just can't but be of two minds with it nowadays. I'll just focus on the gameplay for now, if y'all don't mind.
It's like, on the one hand, the sheer basis of the gameplay works rather well. The parkour style just invites a more active take on Sonic's action-platform gameplay style than ever before, even his Adventure style. Yet, on the other hand, the way the gameplay itself was executed left an unfortunate lot to be desired. Part of me just can't help but feel that it would've been better off without any side-scrolling sections/acts, Wisps (as much as I still love them) and extremely gimmicky levels like the Snowball Waltz course and that Sky Road act where Sonic's gliding around.
I want to love the game, really I do, but it has too many questionable elements to it for that to be possible past a certain point. There's just a point where it's just too much for my liking, is all.

His universe's saiyans never had to deal with Freeza, so they evolved past their violent ways and became a pacific race, going as far as fighting AGAINST evil beings.
Vegeta recognizes his clothes as the armor the saiyans used before Freeza gave them all their tech, and their planet, Salad was the original Saiyan planet which was destroyed during a civil war.
The Saiyans also evolved past their tails, so they're born without those, Vegeta seems pretty friendly with Cabba, so far as wanting to check the new Saiyan planet, which is interesting for his character, as now he can see the race he had so much pride finally going through the same development he went through and evolving into still proud warriors but without their petty violence.
Also
Majin Buu failed the test, he didn't even get his own name right, so Goku (Who almost failed himself) will have to fight for him.
Hm, I guess this isn't much of a surprise: as generally good-natured as he is, Mr. Buu was never exactly the brightest of the Buu forms. Still, though, I can't help but wonder if this will mean that Gohan will make a last-minute appearance near the end to help save the day.

Ah, the Nintendo 64... I have nothing but good memories of it.
Even since my dad bought me Super Mario 64 back in 1996, I became attached to this system like bread and butter. Over the years, I got a myriad of games for it, from platformers like the Banjo games, Chameleon Twist, Mischief Makers and Yoshi's Story, to multiplayer games like Mario Party, Mario Kart 64, Diddy Kong Racing and Pokemon, to action games like the 3D Zelda games and Jet Force Gemini, to RPGs like Paper Mario and Quest 64. I loved them all, and I don't regret playing any of them for a second.
Nowadays, my system is unfortunately completely kaputs, with even my game collection now nonexistent due to life choices over the years. Still, though, my fond memories of the N64 will never go away. So, yeah, Komodin and the Nintendo 64 will always be like best bros and stuff.

Here's a relatively minor bit of news: In Legends, much like how Link and his younger self has Proxi to serve as his mouth, Toon Link has his little sis, Aryll, around to speak on his behalf. An alright use here, but if I can recall correctly, isn't Toon Link actually mildly gabby himself in Wind Waker, though?

Ah, so Trigon's involved in this movie as the Big Bad... no doubt this will be interesting to see. Not gonna lie: After watching the "The End" arc in the original Teen Titans back in the day, I always wanted to see the Justice League take him on as well at some point.
-
Whoa, nelly, this is surprising to see. It's almost like this is some sort of apology on DC's part for Teen Titans Go! being what it is nowadays! The addition of Blue Beetle is just the icing on this awesome cake!
That said, I'm curious to see who's the Robin supposed to be, though. Is he Damian Wayne?

... Okay, Sega, you win this round. I'll consider getting this neat-sounding compilation, if only to satiate my tastes for badass were-dragons and cute sentient spaceships.

Hm, even now, Shadow's gear sports the Black Arms sigil? I guess he's eternally tied to Black Doom and his offspring.

Well, from what I've heard on TV Tropes (courtesy of a fellow troper who translated the text on the Magiana reveal page), the reason why Volcanion is so misanthropic in the upcoming movie is because the Azoth Kingdom actually kidnapped Magiana and he wants to get her back.
So, I guess that means he's gonna be yet another hero-antagonist Pokemon. How unsurprisingly predictable...
