So instead of acknowledging that people have opinions and preferences that can and do vary or aren’t to your liking and doing so respectfully you make it a point to be obnoxious, dismissive and insulting. This toxic and mean-spirited behavior is totally unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
You’re getting a strike as a result. I strongly suggest that you shape up your behavior and express your thoughts be it disagreement or criticism or anything for that matter in a constructive and actual respectful manner.

Problem is, humor like that requires faith in humanity, or in the joke teller at least, and let's face it, faith level is quite low.
Unless you're REALLY piling up the sarcasm and hyperbolic statements to an enormous high degree, and let's face it, you need to lay the sarcasm and stupidity pretty thick if you want to out-joke the thickheadedness of people found on the net.
Pretty much all Sonic fans from all factions feel they're constantly being threatened and prosecuted, so very few will be able to laugh at any "Lol obviously my statements that Sonic sucks and all Sonic fans are losers was a joke (Ps, I totally think Sonic really sucks, but it's a joke so don't judge me, but it's still my opinon that Sonic really is terrible, but don't get angry because it's a joke, even tough I really think it's true, but it's a joke, but it isn't, but it is, but seriously Sonic and his fans are godawful people, haha that was a joke, (Ps. ps. no it wasn't...) Don't be angry, lol)" humor.
Regardless, yeah, the article didn't even try to bring in a legit point, so I would agree it's a waste of time to get angry or try to debate the writer. It's clear this is clickbait, pure and simple. Alas, nothing brings in more money then releasing "Top 10 Terrible Sonic levels (Ps, yes YOUR facorite Sonic game will definitly show up!!!" articles or video's.
Best to ignore them and do something more productive with your time, like creating your own "Top 10 worst 3d textures on Knuckles' Shoes (Especaily in that game you like!)" video's. You can become rich with these.

You'd think we'd be mature enough not to vehemently throw shade at people like this. If this is a joke it's bad comedy and if it's serious, it's just degrading to your peers, again.
One problem that's reared it's head and made this place far less bearable to so many people: blacklisting those who have good things to say about Forces or so much as disagree with your opinion on it.
Is there really any surprise that far less people than usual have been posting here, let alone in the threads directly, if they're going to be tackled with shit like this, pointless and elitist arguments on what pertains "objectivity", lame joke headlines, pokes at those trying to discuss stuff away from the negativity, scoffing at and vilifying any positive impressions from the media, initial "news" with lack of sources lambasting the game, etc?
Honest to goodness, just what kind of hostile state have these forums come to!? I haven't seen so many people spooked off from discussion in the chat, and that is NOT the game's fault itself. People chose to be those kinds of jerks, with or without Forces, they could've conveyed their points without the unwanted attitude towards others.
What you've done there is no less disgusting an action than the last gazillion times it's been done by you or someone else on these forums in particular.

This is why this place gets a bad reputation on Reddit and why mods are getting more tired.
You're attacking people for liking a game. This game isn't even Sonic 06/Boom tiers of bad.
And I like this game. And I'm not lying. And no, I got in this franchise 10 years ago.
And I don't care if you see me like an idiot but don't insult others.
SweeCrue reacted to RubyEclipse in Sonic Force- 100 ring cap in "Easy Mode"
Hi everyone - wanted to jump in and comment here too.
As you've probably all seen by now, yes, you can collect well over 100 rings in a level, as long as you're not on the easier difficulty. (If you're a longtime Sonic fan, just pick the hardest difficulty you see, and you'll be set!) This has always been a part of the game design.
I alluded to it in the post referenced, but there's also even more being updated as we get to the launch of the game. We've kept a number of things in the game hidden as we don't want to spoil you on all of it, but after seeing people getting confused on the limit, we wanted to make sure people understood the 100 rings cap wasn't a thing on the harder difficulty.

Sometimes it's worth just entertaining the idea that you might not have the full picture before you make snap judgements, that's all people are saying. We were "assuming" the possibility of a reasonable explaination. You were assuming there was no possible explaination that could justify it and you had all the facts necessary to start telling people it would definitely take 1000 level playthroughs to earn an achievement.
Again you sensationalise by skipping over the "in an easy mode we weren't previously aware of" from your post because that would compromise your "I was right all along!" status you are so embarrassingly desperate to achieve at all times. It's so obnoxious and confrontational and I don't get why you do it.

As per the countless reports we've gotten regarding Forces as of late, I'd like to remind participants that this discussion is to remain civil. It's incredibly annoying to see the sheer amount of negativity surrounding Forces be directed towards the members of the forum who are genuinely excited for this game.
Respect that others actually have hope for this title. Keep the "Sonic Cycle" and other various forms of trolling out. Discuss your opinions of the game properly without shutting down other people.
This goes for all discussions, obviously - but it's most prominent when Forces is brought up.

You can break apart how bad the level design is and demand better without psycoanalyzing the people that like it and acting like something's wrong with them for it. That shit doesn't sit right with me. You don't need to bring them into it at all really. It doesn't really serve much of a purpose aside from inflating your own ego.
SweeCrue reacted to Soniman in My Hero Academia
Let me talk to you guys about this real quick
My Hero Academia is the new rising Shounen on the block, potentially rivialing its contemporaries like Naruto and Bleach in poularity. It gained a lot of traction, probably because its pretty dang good.
The story is about a boy named Deku who, in a world of people with superpowers, has none of his own. But as fate would have it he runs into his idol, the world's number 1 hero All Might. From there the story goes into a underdog tale of Deku working hard and improving to hopefully someday become the world's greatest hero himself. Stqarting by attentind a prestegious hero academy with other fellow heroes who share the same goals.
While not the most freshest or most subversive anime/manga around, it does play around with the formula enough to keep things from being to formulaic or predictable. Character archetypes you've come to expect are played with and twisted so they're given a relatively fresh perspective. Our main character is a emotoinal, talentless boy who wears his heart on his sleeve, as opposed to a confident, niave hot head that comes to permeate the genre. Character designs are fun, varied and well thought out, the "power system" with quirks are all unique and are mostly on a even keel, your power is what you make of it, and even with the most seemingly unimpressive power you can becaome a competent fighter and hero, it makes fights more interesting when everyone has something unique to bring to the table and isnt goverened by a single power system.
I could go on about the gut punching emotional moments, the mostly solid character development and relationships with each other, and so on but id honestly say check it out for yourself. The anime has 2 seasons and is about to finish it's second one, the manga is ongoing so if you dont wanna wait just read that! If you wanna watch the anime id say go for either sub or dub since they're both really solid.
I leave off with this brilliant piece of music from the anime

Knuckles is extremely duty driven, so that's one trait he has that makes him leader ish.
Not a good leader, but at least has the energy and focus of one.
(His stupidity (At least in S3&K and SA2) comes more from him being too hyper focused on his task that he failed to see the bigger picture and bluntly rushing toward what he perceives as the obvious danger.)
You could say it's more important for a leader to hold speeches (that they didn't write) and make decisions (Based on advice and research done by others) and present an energetic, intense, dutiful and active face and image for the rebellion to keep morale up.
That's why Knuckles is the leader.
Even if he's dumb as a brick, Tails and Amy can do all the planning, strategzing and mental legwork behind the scenes while Knuckles is just being a theatrical Man Of Action to inspire the troops.
But yeah, it's a mental whiplash to go back to serious duty driven Knuckles after he's been a completely useless dolt for over a decade.
I'm just happy to give him something to do again, other then just standing in the background because "He's main character...Allegedly".

We're also investigating other issues like controller support, these are all PC specific things that Christian and the team have been working on these last few weeks
Please bare with us while we collate and investigate problems that are being brought to our attention"

That's what I meant tho'. In a vacuum, Sonic's gameplay would be faster simply due to the boost alone. The Avatar can move pretty fast (especially cuz dash panels lmao) but I can see why the devs / PR(??) would say Sonic is generally faster.
Are you trying to start a fight, or...
SweeCrue got a reaction from Sky The Destroyer in Sonic Forces - Is INFINITE related to [SOMETHING] from Mania? [HEAVY MANIA SPOILERS]
I'm pretty sure the scepter was destroyed at the end of Shadow's story.
And about the Phantom Ruby:
"Discovering a sudden dimensional breach in the atmosphere, evil genius Dr. Eggman detected a unique wave signature emanating from Angel Island."
Sounds to me like the Phantom Ruby came from another dimension, and then buried itself into Angel Island while it was flying in the atmosphere where we last saw it at the end of S3&K.
And I guess the energy from the Phantom Ruby interfered with the Master Emerald which made the island crash into the ocean once again.
Man, Angel Island just can't catch a break.

Man it's been aaaaages since I've posted in my art thread, so I think it's fair to make a new one if only to spare myself having to look at my old art. And maybe actually having this up will get me drawing more often (not likely).
Got a slime girl I'm fairly proud of. Probably gonna try to shade it tomorrow but I like it enough with some quick flat color that I figure I'll put it up like this before I ruin it.
