  1. Im enjoying p5 but I cannot stand the rule of if Joker dies it's a instant game over even if your party is alive I think it's such a BS penalty to have in a rpg

I haven't played 5 but having played the others I can see where you're coming from. I suppose it does stop things from being too easy though. It'd be a cakewalk otherwise.

      To me it's fake difficulty

As is the rule of SMT games,

      use buffs noob

But you do need to protect yourself first and foremost, because you are the character with the most amount of abilities. And this isn't the first Persona game with this rule, so it's something to keep in mind.

Joker dying being an instant game over, plus the fact that the final two palaces are heavily RNG-favoured to the opponent is utter bullshit, and one of the biggest flaws I have with Persona 5. I ended up playing the whole game on Normal, and going back to Easy because I got really fucking sick of having to backtrack in the final palace because if it is so RNG heavy, and you also aren't allowed to go back to get money, so if you're low on items, tough luck.

That was annoying but the fact that party members still gain exp outside of battle kinda balanced it out for me tho. Im used to that not being the case in RPGs

if you spent even a little amount of time in the fusion engine, then Joker should be rocking a handful of personas that either resist or outright null almost all damage.

My Joker was borderline broken by the last few palaces.

...how much time is "a little time"

People say that about various side things in other RPGs and it's usually several hours of extra nonsense

The time is dependent on how good a job you do capturing different personas.

If you are diligent in acquiring new personas as you enter new areas then you can summon them from your compendium at any point in the future. Once you start filling in the catalog, its not an issue of time, but rather $$$.

If you never recruit new personas, and just stick to the ones your running until they hit their eventual cap... then it requires backtracking to find and obtain the missing personas for your desired fusions.

With a small army to choose from at the end of the game, you can fuse, and then fuse the fusions to makes some insane beasts. Since you choose what skills the next generation will inherit, a Gen 3 fusion is all it takes to inherit enough nulls/resists to be unstoppable.

      Ah, I see

I haven't played a Persona game before so I'll take your word for it
