  1. You think we will see the new Sonic at all in 2020?

I dont want to see it at all until gameplay is ready.

A game will be announced next year but my monies on a 2021 release window.

they'll have a silhouette poster/trailer ready for us at the next sonic sxsw in march and then they'll disappear until the end of the year / 2021

    4. Blue Blood

No idea. And right now, I'm probably anticipating it less than in any time in the past.

    5. Jango

Whenever it happens, it better fucking be Mania 2.

    6. Sega DogTagz

I expect a title card at least in 2020. They will give us something to call it, but show next to nothing. Maybe 5 seconds of CG Sonic doing a thing.

If they were smart, when the time comes for a real reveal, it'll be accompanied by another on of those animated shorts they seem to be rolling with. Might help curb a tiny bit of the rampant skepticism the next game will face.

I wish it were 2020 instead of 2021, just so we'd be 100% sure that we were getting a regular all new mainline game instead of another birthday-blowout purposely throwback-y type game.

we'll get a silhouette of Pikachu in a Sombrero again, and this time Sonic Team will announce that they're working on a Samba de Amigo/Pokemon crossover game
