  1. Yes! Defeated the Thabes Labyrinth in Fire Emblem Echoes. Remarkably challenging, even with a fully overclassed team...I actually had more trouble with fire dragons than I did with the secret boss. I even lost a unit...but I was revived her, I have a full team again, and I'm very very happy. Now onto Cyper Legends!

    Spoiler

    We love you Grima!

    Spoiler

I have actually played Awakening yet.

      *but I revived her. Typos...

  2. Finished Fire Emblem Echoes on Hard/Classic without any DLC or grinding. Had 2 casualties but was able to revive them. I'm happy. :)

Players who overgrind...I know everyone has a different playstyle, but overgrinding, especially to the levels Abdullah does, it just removes all challenge or thrill. It's like taking a sledgehammer to an ant hill.

  3. 330 hours into Xenoblade X. I'm so close to 100% mira.

Other players have 100% the game 4 to 5 times. Insane. Did they get any sleep?

  4. Just started this game, and I love it. I love the graphical updates and gameplay tweaks. I have a question about the amiibos, specifically the Link and Zelda ones. Now the Zelda and Shiek amiibos give hearts right? If I were to use the Zelda amiibo, and get say 3 hearts, can I use the Shiek to get additional hearts? I guess my question is, do amiibo effects stack? Or after using a Zelda amiibo, do I have to wait before using another 'heart' amiibo? If amiibo effects do stack, I'm going to have collect all the amiibos, Ganondorf, Link, Toon Link, Zelda, and Shiek.
  5. Feels a bit sad after watching PBG rip Sonic Heroes almost as bad as a game grump. Yes, Sonic Heroes definitely had flaws, but it had a lot of good points.

sonic heroes isn't as bad as most think, at least in my opinion.

You have to play it a lot to notice those good points though, something only a big Sonic fan would do

      Gotta disagree.

Might have some interesting ideas, but it's execution is awful.

Heroes is an enjoyable game but its flaws really bogged the overall game down.

      Heroes really isn't that good

  6. Just completed Ocarina of Time 3d, Master Quest. An enjoyable but taxing experience. Along with my creative thinking and attention to detail being stretched, I never got a 'Game Over' (very proud of that) but was bailed out by faires far more times than I care to admit.

After the number of times I did Hero Mode in Skyward Sword, I thought I would of had an easier time.

On 3DS Master Quest somewhere myself, in the Shadow Temple if I am not mistaken, but I gave up after dying X amount of times near the start and have not picked it up again after that. Wonderful game though.

  7. I feel overwhelmed right now, including video game wise. Xenoblade Chronicles X has consumed my life since Christmas. In addition, there's also a list of Zelda games I want to complete; wind waker HD, Oot 3d, Majora's Mask 3d, Twilight Princess HD -I'm going to love the cave of ordeals in Hero Mode- and Hyrule warriors for 3ds. Furthermore, there's being lost in my thoughts all alone with the Fire Emblem games, and out of course, playing Smash with others. Ugh. So much stuff to do....and this is just video games, not including career development and moving out of state fairly soon.

I'd rather have way too many games to play than not enough! Means you'll never get bored.

  8. I'm in the same spot; I'm working towards having a 100% survey rate, but it is a remarkably long-term endeavor. About Definian Downfall; make sure you have very good ground gear and are comfortable with infinite overdrive; otherwise, it's going to be very difficult.
  9. This thread is about the "Predator and Prey" mission. If you have not completed this mission, please do not read the spoilers. Here's a link to the post I made (huge spoilers) This mission will enrage you, or at least it did me. What do you think? It's the most horrific thing I have ever seen in a Nintendo game.
  10. Just maxed out my overdrive counter for the first time in Xenoblade X. Great feeling.

However, the only way I can consistently pull this off is by using the 'blood sacrifice' art. Does anyone know if there's an alternative way to consistently extend overdrive?

  11. Heh, I just noticed my new community reputation. I'm a robot, but not just any robot, but a righteous one - who believes that the best way to save friends is by shooting them...yeah, I know that some believe that the flickyies inside were the consciousnesses, but I prefer the Sonic X adaptation. Anyway, I'm grateful for the upgrade.

    Initiating recovery mode.

  12. Lin's Voice Acress The final Survival guide Check out the two links; it's a treat to hear an interview from the actress of Lin and the final survival guide is compelling as well. As for the game, I love it. I just recently started a new game, and activities are going to much smoother now that I have a much better understanding of game mechanics and how to use tension points properly. It will be a very long time before I'm able to truly finish everything; that makes me very happy. I do have questions regarding the final chapter of the story; don't look unless you have completed the main story.
  13. It's been awhile since I've been here; have gone through a lot of crazy stuff; good and bad.

Currently, I'm loving Xenoblade X. I decided to start over my playthrough after 30 hours, because I now I have a better grasp of the mechanics and TP usage, and I felt guilty over the remarkable amount of times my team was wiped out. I'm loving the decision I made. My playthrough is going so much more smoothly, now that I have a better understanding of what to do.

I had the same issue with Chronicles; when I first began the game, I was incredibly sloppy, not understanding the most basic concepts. Games are so much more enjoyable when you have a better grasp of what you should do.

  14. "Hmm, what should I make today?" Silently nods. "That is a great idea!"

  15. I love Tatsu's theme from Xenoblade X. It's perhaps more amusing than the theme of 'Riki, the Legendary Heropon.' Also, with the different instruments and violins, it reminds me of the soundtrack from Sonic & and the Black Knight, which is great.
