The first teaser showed a lot of promise. Nice backgrounds, solid sound work, and the animation was very charming. I'd definitely be on board to watch a project like that.
The second teaser removed the charm. The rotoscoped animation looks lazy and unappealing. It's so thinly veiled that it honestly just feels like I'm watching a mediocre CG cartoon, it doesn't even feel 2D. If that's the direction the project is going, I'm not interested.

Ah I remember seeing the first teaser a while back but the second one has killed my hype a little. The first one had really charming animation but the second is so clearly traced over 3D models. Like, whatever gets the job done for a fan project I guess but still a shame. The animation is definitely too slow and gentle too, no punch to it at all.
There was also definitely an uncomfortable amount of focus on the character's bare feet in that second trailer it was frankly a little disturbing, not to mention disappointing after they got the characters so perfectly on-model in the first trailer, one detail of this being that they never are seen without their shoes.
