  1. Hello again! I'm not sure if a lot of people here remember who I was, but I registered here under the name of Shinigami. anyway, I decided to look this place up to see if it was still running and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it is! I'm currently taking on a bunch of stufff IRL, mainly including a new job which is paying good money after taking care of my grandmother for a few years which had reduced my online activity to being virtually non-existant here for a good long while. Now that my old man has retired he can look after her, and that, thankfully, has freed up my schedule enough to catch up on a few old internet hang out spots. I may not be too active for the time being, but It's good to be back!
  2. Happy birthday, boss!

  3. I can respect the opinions and everything in that the manga does tend to get a little repetitive, but you guys have to also remember that this is Shonen Jump we're talking about here. a lot of the manga's popularity in these cases is attributed to the fight scenes, while also finding time for a little character development when it does happen. anyway, going back to the topic at hand, I've honestly been enjoying the story so far and even if the final battle has been drawn out, we're talking about a War, and that's not something that would be resolved in just ten chapters, otherwise the whole point of all those other chapters leading up to the story's darkest hour would be a huge waste of time, really. btw I agree with Soniman in regards to Hinata. she's shown the most character development of all the kunoichis, is basically my favorite of the girl characters that we've seen in this series and needs more love. .__.
  4. We meet again thunderbird, my old friend. anyhow..recently watched the Fate/Stay Night and the Fate/Zero prologue animes. Character seen here is Arturia Pendragon; AKA "Saber".
  5. Saw Godzilla..I can't begin to express how awesome it was.

  6. I bumped into Fate/Zero thanks to Netflix and wound up watching both that and /Stay Night. while I wasn't all too pleased with the way the latter ended, I still enjoyed the stories of both shows either way. i'm thrilled that they're doing a remake and this simply looks like it will be amazing from what I've seen in the trailers. Here's to hoping that it'll do well. Cheers! Oh. and I watched the racing portion of Carnival Phantasm. freaking hilarious; and the way they cracked a joke at that famous shot from E.T. made me roar with laughter. XD checking out the rest now.
  7. Saw the trailer. this has easily become the best Smash game ever.and -DAMN- that K.O. move looks nasty for anybody on the recieving side. but yeah, a slow charge up time to accompany it wouldn't be surprising..and I got a laugh at Samus when she made fun of his size..shouldn't have done that! 8. I'll be honest, I'm fully supportive of the new looks; even if they go beyond Sonic Boom (both game and cartoon) and into new games. the reason being? it's different. it gives an overall fresh new look to iconic characters. sure, it'll take some getting used to for some people at first, but i find that it'll eventually start to grown on everybody. don't get me wrong; the design changes they gave us back when Sonic Adventure came out gave a fresh look to the characters as well. At that time which was 1998. they've been sticking to the same look for years now and I'll be honest, now that it's early on into 2014; comparing the new looks from this game and cartoon as compared to the previous appearances..those designs have started to become kind of dated. Simply put, it's a welcomed change if you ask me.
  9. a new year calls in the necessity for a new background image.

  14. Hm..As far as Rosalina's concerned, I'm somehow seeing a resemblance to a combo of gameplay styles: Olimar and the Pikmin, and the Ice Climbers; with a tad more emphasis on the latter because in the trailer it did show Rosalina fending off Mario in one side, and the Luma attacking Luigi as well as the same case with the two fighting Megaman and Bowser in their trailer. in the case of the latter gameplay style, both are controlled but it seems like either the Luma or Rosalina will have some partial A.I. built in and act accordingly to cover for the other, depending on who is being controlled by the player. in general though, it's awesome that she's in the game, though I can easily say I wasn't all too surprised at the revelation as much as I was pleased with it. I kind of had a feeling this would happen due to the image of that SMG stage being shown first a while back.
  15. Got a job at Macy's in the past couple of weeks. Life's kept me busy basically.
