  2. You are mildly famous in the Sonic fandom, I'm surprised you don't get tons of messages lol :P

I am? Because of my Barney obsession, I’m guessing? XD

    2. Mick

      Mick

      Yeah probably lol

  3. Am I the only one around here still looking forward to Forces? Yes, it might not be the best Sonic game out there (lots of valid reasons that folks have made many, many times) and I absolutely want Sonic Team to do better, but I'm still excited all the same (even after playing the demo).

      Nope. I'm excited for it.

I'm looking forward to it as well!

      The Tenth Doctor

I want to give it an honest chance.

I'll play it eventually. For my tastes (particularly when it comes to boost Sonic) it doesn't look terrible or anything, just a step back from Generations which is a real shame.

Nah. I 100% agree with you.

I'm definitely still impartial until I've played it so I'm excited for Tuesday! Four years since the last Modern game it's gonna be nice to be back in the swing of things again!

      Forte-Metallix

I'm excited for it, too. Always ready for more boost action!

      Crow the BOOLET

Sure. Its been a while since I last played a Sonic game. The fact that I can play as CROW is honestly the topping on the cake.

I'm still going to play the game and decide its quality for myself.

@Celestia - I can see what you mean. It does look like a step down from Generations, but I still think it's not going to be another '06.

@SonicWind - I'm going to do the same. It seems to be a polarizing one, but we'll see on the 7th.

Glad to know I'm in good company on Forces. Not going to get on anyone's case for not liking the game or anything, but some of the backlash has been a bit disheartening to say the least, as someone who is still looking forward to it.

  4. I was able to purchase it from GameLoft just fine. To be honest, I'm having a ball with it so far.

  6. And that's why LEGO Sonic Drift sucks! In all seriousness though, the 18th can't come soon enough.
  7. That boss battle isn't the last you'll see of the Sonic balloon. He's also part of the balloon restoration in the Adventure World: It looks like Carnival Night Zone (They confirmed at one of the Gamescom streams (IGN's IIRC) that Sonic's Battle Arena is based off this zone)
  8. The Wicked Witch and the Joker were both bosses, but still got their own figures. So, Eggman could very well be a figure down the line. As for Harry, people have dug through the game's recent update and found files for both Harry and Hermoine, so they're both confirmed for sure.
  9. Three new teasers for Dimensions hit today. This one (the fourth of the five teasers) is one I feel we're gonna go nuts about:
  10. Happy birthday, boss!

  11. I'm mixed on the idea. While KidZone is a good chunk of space, most of the attractions aren't THAT outdated (save for Fievel, kids likely still know the characters (particularly Curious George and Barney) and E.T. is a Universal classic). One attraction's closure is going to hit me the hardest though. "A Day in the Park with Barney" has remained my favorite attraction at Universal (unsurprising, being the SSMB's resident Barney fan and all). As such, in my opinion, it's going to suck when that closes down. Not just for grown fans like myself, but for preschoolers who are Barney's target audience (he's still beloved by young children, despite his popularity being no where near what it was 20 years ago when "A Day in the Park" opened), who won't have an attraction made with them in mind (and an oasis from the hustle bustle of the rest of the park). In addition, it's also one of the only things keeping the Barney franchise (which is getting the Mega Man treatment in America ever since HiT Entertainment was bought out by Mattel) alive in the US. Forgive me for my little fanboy rant, but I wanted to share my point of view of KidZone (particularly the Barney show) being torn down. I really do love Nintendo (and look forward to seeing what attractions they do), but the purple dinosaur means even more to me.
  12. My amiibo collection consists of: (The few that have nicknames have them next to the character name) Mario Pikachu (PikaDrew) Kirby Link Samus Fox* DK* Yoshi* Peach Villager* Marth* Wii Fit Trainer* Luigi (Weegee) Captain Falcon* Zelda Diddy Kong* Little Mac* Toon Link* Sheik* Bowser* Rosalina* Shulk* Sonic* Mega Man* (* = In the box. I really want to open these guys and play with them, but I'm not too sure about it (more so with the rarer ones like Marth and Little Mac). I don't care about resale value, considering I'm not planning to sell these. Still, I'm conflicted on the matter)
