  1. Knuckles sound like a jock in TSR

    1. SenEDDtor Missile

      SenEDDtor Missile

Jocks are rarely too far from Dumb Muscle in the stereotype family.

  2. Cells at Work is very charming

  3. Speaking of Jiren

I'm gonna go back into DBS...but read the manga instead. I heard the final arc is worse than how the anime did it but my question

Is Jiren as boring and bland as people say he is in the manga

    1. Dr. Detective Mike

      Dr. Detective Mike

As someone who read the manga first and is just now watching the anime, I kind of feel like they're both relatively the same in terms of quality, even if the way the story is being told is different.

Although, Super is moving at a snail's pace and the characters I wanted to see last longer actually do last longer in the manga version.

As for Jiren, he's the same as far as I can tell.

  4. Damn man, I'm actually looking forward to playing TSR a bit more now. It's not ASRT 2 straight up, but the impressions are better than I personally expected. Plus, it's gonna be a Sonic game I can say I'll actually sink time into with genuine interest in a while. It being a kart racing spin off though is kinda sad lol.

    1. KHCast

I’m probably just gonna get CTR first since I’m really looking to get my money’s worth in content. That’s how I usually approach party games like th- *remembers Mario maker 2 also drops the same time as CTR*  Fuck.

    2. TCB

Oh TSR is gonna be the appetizer. CTR is my main course. Also I was never into Super Mario Maker or the whole user created premise behind it since my creativity is flat as a board. That, and I'm also not into mainline Mario games either. I can play them, but I'm not a fan enough to really get into em

  5. I'm starting to get into Osmosis Jones: The Anime.

    1. SupahBerry

I honestly find it odd that they waited this long to turn human cells into waifus.

    2. TCB

      The platelets give me diabetees

  6. Remember when TSR was originally gonna come out in "late 2018" and it looked like ass and apparently played like it too back in like August or something

Getting 7s/sporadic 8s is either a blessing or indicative of current era Sonic barring couple outliers aint it

  7. If anything, it's pretty cool that in a months time we'll (likely) have three solid kart racers of Sonic, Mario and Crash on one system alongside their equally-soild source genre of games in Mania, Odyssey and N.Sane Trilogy.

    1. mayday2592

if someone told me this 5 years earlier, I would have though they were insane.

  8. TSR is gonna be nice little appetizer to hold me over til Crash becomes my main course it looks like.

    1. Dejimon11

      Yeah pretty much

    2. TCB

Hey you on Twitter/Discord right now?

  9. What is Rage 2

    1. KHCast

      The sequel to Rage

    2. blueblur98

    3. Blacklightning

I don't expect anyone to get this reference

    4. Polkadi~♪

      i got the reference, blacklightning

that is obscure as all hell, i was convinced no one knew about it

TSR leaks let us hear the voices in more clarity.

    2. SupahBerry

      Meeeyooooooosic leaks on TSR.

  11. I'm not getting Super Mario Maker 2, but hey from what y'all saying it pretty much eclipses the first game in nearly every way except for amiibo support, although they might just save that or next month as a reveal or something.

  12. A month from now we will be right in the middle of, or at least the tail end of, E3. Time is flying y'all.

  13. I didn't even know Epic Rap Battles of History came back not too long ago.

  14. Me.

  15. Going back to Platinum and especially SoulSilver has been just flooding memories of me playing them back in the day.

    1. Ferno

It'll never happen but I really wanna see more 2D/3D pokemon games in the future, maybe even in the style of Octopath Traveler. I kinda miss applying my imagination to the tiny sprite graphics to make the regions seem much bigger than they were.

      *grabs cane*

    2. Strickerx5

Honestly Ferno, I'm leaning towards agreeing with you on this. Specifically if they continue down this current path.

I was really, really hoping that Sword and Shield weren't just going to be upscaled 3DS games but that's basically exactly what they've turned out to be so far. Instead of going all out with an actual console like environment and freeing up the 3D movement and world (fucking botw meets pokemon or something would've been... godly), they've instead kept things playing just like the 2D games; only now with HD, 3D models. At this point I'd kind of be interested to see what they could continue to do with 2D tech instead of doing the bare minimum for 3D.

This style was great on the 3DS, not for the Switch.

*sigh* I still dream about that truly open world 3D Pokemon game that contains every region...

    3. Ferno

It's like, I'd prefer either of these two options for future games rather than the sorta bland route the series has gone in since Gen 6:

    4. SupahBerry

At least Mario has shown to be fully capable of evolving its artstyle from the NSMBs style.

Now Pokemon is the one with the "every game looks the same" curse.

    5. TCB

I remember this particular screenshot was what some here was hoping the gen 8 game was gonna look like

  16. John Oliver ribbing on the sonic is funny cuz it true.

  17. Authentic hibachi grills are the best.

  18. Did y'all see this?

    1. Heckboy

this is going to be fucking amazing

    2. DreamSaturn

"It sucks, but it's not our fault this time."

    3. Polkadi~♪

They went down the id Software route, huh.

Took Sonic Team long enough, id Software needed only an hour to say that.

    4. The Tenth Doctor

      The Tenth Doctor

Very similar to Dragon Ball Evolution. Fox made the movie but distanced themselves from Toriyama, even though he tried to put suggestions to the film. It bombed. Now, if this could rally Sonic Team to make the best stuff they can to spite Paramount, like Toriyama did to Fox, that'd be great.

    5. Rusty Spy

      Rusty Spy

This ain't your IP? For a second I thought Sonic was owned by Sega but I guess we were all mistaken

  19. Detective Pikachu was a special kind of movie to me. I enjoyed it in a weird, nostalgic yet endearing feeling. Totally different from Endgame. I actually felt more emotional watching certain scenes in that one that I did in Endgame. And those credits...I grinned so stupidly. This movie had the love, passion and respect for the source material in every way. Just...seing my childhood in such a way brought me back to when i was watcjing the first season anime, playing Yellow and definitely getting into Gen 2. Legendary gets all my praise. I hope this makes lots of money. This really was the first video game movie adaption to so things justice. The exception to the rule for sure.

...God the Sonic movie is likely gonna piss nearlt all that good will away for the genre will it

    1. TCB

Yeah the movie was pretty by the book and if you knew the plot via the game beforehand much of the impact is gone. Still, Ryme City felt so alive and is definitely the closest to "being" in the Pokemon world will ever be like. Also, a couple of times certain actors didn't feel all that natural. Talking like the secondary ones. The main trio if you will were good; Reynolds pretty much held them up lile glue though pretty well. God Ryan was so great.

the climax that reveals, surprise, Mewtwo wasn't acrually evil just misunderstood, captured and then used a surrogate host for big bad. Like Mewtwo or any antagonistic Pokemon will ever be depelicted with actual villainous intent. I also popped for Pikachu dejectedly and depressingly singing the Pokemon Theme near the end. Speaking of...since I haven't played the game so the twist of Pikachu being the first "result" of bonding the souls of a human into a Pokemon's body being literally Ryan Reynolds as his dad I honestly didn't realize at first glance. What an actor allusion of sorts. Also...that did leave a plot hole in that...if that was the case how couldn't he recognize his own father's voice at first? Was being that distant from his dad and the emotional scars he left that bad or something? Its not like he was a baby when he left. Also while i still love this film, i wish he had more screentime for more Pokemon doing their thing. I can see why the humans were the focus with select Mons getting screentime though. Yo seeing Torterra no bigger if just a little bigger than the humans to like five or six of them the size of skyscrapers all forming a forest was a sight to behold good god

Those are really nippicks more than anything Those credits....aaah my nostalgia exploded. From the shoutout to the original RGB opening to the characters being drawn in a similar Sumigori artstyle was charming as hell.

...but we couldn't get there at the very beginning so we missed out getring the promo tcg packs. Oh well. In all, yeah i enjoyed it more of this please

XBox 1. I know, I said I was gonna switch to Switch, but I can't give up ARK Survival. My roommate and I have an awesome base now

And no, not quite space colony ARK. More like prehistoric colony ark XD

      Wait, what happened with ProJared?

    5. TCB

    6. Your Vest Friend

      Your Vest Friend

      Classic case of marital affair.

    7. JosepHenry

He went to Heidi's tweet and said "This ain't it chief", and said something about this being a bad idea.

Despite it being clear that ProJared has problems.

    8. PublicEnemy1

And it was with Commander Holly. This explains 2 things:

      1. Why Ross divorced Commander Holly, and
      2. Why the Grumps have privated the videos featuring ProJared.

    9. Nast

god damn it, I liked projared a lot. this is depressing...

    10. dbzfan7

This was a big oof when I saw it. Especially when proof is posted in the chains. Yikes.

    11. Teoskaven

I feel so bad for Ross right now.
