    BAD idea. That is basically there to ensure that both you and the game know exactly what you're planning on hitting before letting Sonic fly towards the target, instead of the game having you attack a different target you weren't trying to hit. In past games, you would often attack the nearest enemy which could be anywhere in front of you, and there have been points that you would attack the wrong enemy like in ShTH where you could attack a soldier when you were trying to hit an alien.

    That's game design for you. It's to keep you from potentially fighting with the game's targeting system so that it's less stressful, and to take it out simply because past games didn't use it and were fine without it is being completely ignorant of why it's there in the first place and is encouraging anything but good design.

    If you want an option of taking it out, then by all means I'm for it. But you can't take it out simply because it's anti-climactic and doesn't let you be a part of the world (which is completely irrelevant with or without the targeting), and others happen to like how they know ahead of time what they're about to hit before they let'em rip in mid-air. And calling it for teh babies is the most patronizing and sorriest justification for removing it as well.

    I never finished Super Metroid, Metroid Fusion, Mario Sunshine, Ocarina of Time or Okami. I got stuck somewhere and never touched them again. They must be horrible games fo sure

    I'm sorry, but no. I did not love, like, cherish, enjoy or have any genuine fun with Sonic 2006.

    The controls are absolute crap. None of the characters were fun to play as. The level tropes were either ripped from Sonic Adventure or dull and uninspired. The plot right down to the very concept was flawed and convoluted. It was a mess from the beginning.

    I can respect that people like it... but I can't understand it. Not at all, I'm sorry.

    Compared to the PC version, the console Skyrim feels nothing like a lazy port. It's filled with jagged edges and while the map indeed is huge, I would expect that the developers would at least try to optimize the experience on the consoles rather than trying to make them do something they're clearly uncapable of. Besides, I'd rather take a steady framerate over an overly sized map any day. And Skyrim is not the only case.

    Like I said, get multiplatform releases for PC. It's a much better experience. I don't get multiplatform releases for Wii either so I wouldn't know, but I think they have to make the game run on an entirely different graphics engine, which usually results in at least a steady framerate as they have to design the graphics specifically with the Wii's capabilities in mind.

    Back on topic though: I do hope that Sonic 4 as a whole gets a physical release too so I'm not completely missing out on this if this doesn't get a PC/Wii U/3DS release. I'm not going to get a new console just for one or two downloadable software.

    I disagree. Meteor Herd didn't cause me much trouble. I enjoyed the way Knuckles controlled, in addition to the visuals, making exploring the level pretty fun. Meanwhile being forced to play as that damn Werehog at a snail's pace, on and off, and in a stupidly long and tiresome level like Eggmanland, felt like a genuine waste of life. Having said that, I did find SA2's Mad Space infuriating at times.

    American 2D animation is the best choice, good 3D animation will cost too much and it will age poorly. And animation in flash always sucks.
