So finally decided to play Minecraft after years of ignoring it. It's actually a lot more in depth than I was expecting. Also farming is hilarious since my chicken pen looks like a Walmart fish tank.
Be careful man. You start out by being curious.
The next thing you know you've lost a number of days exploring random tunnels you found in the land while simultaneously trying to construct the perfect sky transportation base made entirely of glass and rails... i-i mean not speaking from experience of course...
I once had a world where I lived in a small mountainous valley. I constructed a bridge between two mountains (and between two bases), which soon became a MASSIVE wall to keep out monsters. I was building more walls, and a village in the valley. I had three unique bases. There was a large mineshaft in use, and a large farm on top of a mountain. My main base was massive, with an even bigger storage room, in the side of the mountain.
Even better, my main base wasn't my first, as I started with a small house on top of a mountain. I couldn't make it home one night, and climbed up a waterfall to hide in a hole in the side of a mountain. I stayed there for the night, and it eventually got bigger than my small house, way bigger.
I lost the world, but I will not forget that valley. Protected by massive stone walls, with a village being made to soon prosper.
...long story short, you'll get hooked
