  2. To be fair, production on the second season of AEMH has been complete for awhile now. I think they were waiting to air it so it could launch with Ultimate Spider-Man, the Marvel Universe block, and to of course coincide with the Avengers movie. But still, AEMH does pretty well in the ratings so instead of doing whats logical and just pick up where the they left off, they drop it in favor of a new dumbed down Avengers show. If ain't broke don't fix it.
  3. I tried to get behind this show I really did. But I just can't get past the bad jokes, the 4th wall breaking and the retarded character models they use in those moments. The main characters in this show aren't even remotely likable, and Spider-Man is really out of character. Some of the voices even sound horribly miscast. I love the fact that they got JK Simmons to come back as Jameson, but damn its nothing but wasted potential on this garbage show. Drake Bell isn't the worst voice Spidey's ever had, but for some reason I just don't like it. How does Marvel put out a Spider-Man show like this when we have awesome shows like The Legend of Korra, Young Justice, Transformers Prime, Thundercats, and their very own Avengers? All of which are far superior in writing and are being aimed at the same target audience. And to top it off they're canceling AEMH for a new Avengers series thats in the same style as Ultimate Spider-Man. It doesn't make any sense. Did Marvel really think we would accept this crap after the awesomeness that was The Spectacular Spider-Man? When Marvel first announced this show, they bragged about how awesome it was gonna be because it will be the first Spider-Man series made in house since they got the TV rights to the franchise back, and it was gonna have nothing but pure "Marvel DNA" in it. If you ask me I'd say the really dropped the ball here.
  4. Wow, I can't believe they're actually bringing Toonami back. Damn, now I wish I turned the TV to CN on April 1st when everyone was saying Toonami was back. I thought it was literally an April Fools joke... Not sure if I like the block being on Saturdays at Midnight since I'm starting my new job that has me getting up at an ungodly hour, but still cool nonetheless.
  5. And this is why you don't green light a second season before the series has even premeired. Turns out people hate it, and production is too far invested in the thing to admit they screwed up. How do you give the go ahead for season 2 without even knowing if your audience will like the show or not? Not that it really matters in this case, when you have them canceling AEMH, a series that is actually loved and bringing in the ratings. While at the same time continuing production on a series that is pretty much hated and not doing so well in the ratings. Where is the logic? Gotta say the future isn't looking to bright for Marvel cartoons when you have practices like this happening.

  7. I see what you mean about SA1, SA2, and '06, I always thought the body language was kind of Power Ranger like myself... Heroes and Shadow were definitely kind of stiff, but to say the body language in Unleashed, Colors, and Generations is exaggerated... I just don't see it. To me its perfect, they finally got it right.

  9. I'd rather not see characters like Mighty or Ray return, they're just ugly Sonic recolors with minor changes, they're lame, ugly and boring. I just don't see the appeal at all. The only forgotten classic character I want to return is Fang.
  10. The chances of this being true are very slim, only because Nickelodeon permanently owns the franchise now. I doubt Nick would want the TMNT to be associated with anything dark and gritty, with them in the process of relaunching the franchise this year. The upcoming relaunch looks anything but dark. If this turns out to be true, then awesome I can't wait to play it.

  13. Yeah but that controller works and feels great. "If ain't broke don't fix it." The GameCube contoller is cool, but the buttons definitely felt awkward on some games.

  16. As my favorite Zone out of Sonic 2, I was really looking forward to it Generations, but I was kind of disappointed by it. The Classic act doesn't really feel much like the original other than looks. There also aren't enough tubes to travel through, and the water definitely doesn't give you that intense feeling like the original either. The Modern act is fun, but its not quite what I was hoping for. The music for both acts are great though. And Chemical Plant is still fun to play, its just not what I was expecting.

  18. Blazing through Crisis City is a blast, but the stage does get dragged down when you have to stomp on those platforms though. Still one of the more fun stages to run through in the game, and far better the '06 version. I only wish it had boarding section in the beginning like in '06. The classic version is always fun to play through, I find myself replaying it a lot. That damn sign post though...
  19. For some reason I prefer the original SA2 City Escape, I'm not sure why when its almost exactly the same. I do like the Boarding and GUN Truck sections better in Generations though. I loved the Classic version when I first got the game, but now I don't like it that much. Maybe I'm just bored of the game.
  20. Sorry, no I do like those songs. I should've worded that better, cause I was namely just referring to the singer, hence the "auto tune and can't sing". He ruined the new version of "Sonic Boom" for me, even if Crush 40 didn't make it that great.

  23. I actually think the commercial would've been even cooler if they had Roger record some lines for it while still using the classic jingles in the background.
  24. The only way I can see this coming to Wii now is if SEGA releases a physical disc with every episode on it for retail after the digital releases are done. I wouldn't rule it out just yet. Do we even know if Sonic 4 will be more than two episodes, in the beginning weren't they talking about three episodes?
