You need to beat the game with Luigi to get the 121st star with both brothers. I'd save Luigi for a future playthrough since it's mostly just the same campaign.

TheOcelot reacted to PC the Hedgehog in The new voice for Cleveland on Family Guy is spot on. Whew. I was worried for a while
@Ryannumber1gamer Not of an actual episode, but the new actor has actually been doing Cleveland's voice for fun for years on his YouTube channel. He's actually good at impersonating a lot of Family Guy characters.

TheOcelot reacted to JezMM in Got 61 stars in Galaxy so far and just beat second Bowser boss fight.
Not a bad way to play to be honest, there's very few bad levels in Galaxy.

Rainbow Ride is such a shitshow. It's basically the complete antithesis to what Mario 64 is all about. The music choice is horrible too.
Galaxy's really straightforward and easy to get into. Just enjoy it.

TheOcelot reacted to Blue Blood in Beat Super Mario 64 At least the final boss with Bowser lasts a bit longer that the p
Fair enough. I was only asking because you said you've not yet played the final three worlds.
Galaxy is great. I've been playing it a lot. Sunshine is also great, but Mario doesn't control nearly as well. He doesn't move smoothly, so finer movements are much more difficult. He also doesn't have all of the really fluid and intuitive jumping options that he had in 64 and regains in Galaxy. It's also got some wonky physics, strange scripting and and general feeling of being rushed. Ideas that they they never properly play tested just to see if they were fun or played well.
The biggest issues are problems with this specific version. In the original, FLUDD was controlled simply with the analogue R trigger. You could control the intensity of the spray and holding down the trigger until it clicked would make Mario stand in place so that you could adjust the angle. In All Stars, the Switch triggers aren't analogue, so ZR is full spray and R is stand in place. It's way less intuitive than before. When stood in place, the analogue stick controls for aiming are also inverted from the original. I'd argue that the original configuration for aiming was better regardless of muscle memory, but the fact that you can't change the inversion is really poor design.
If you struggle to get into Sunshine, I implore you to try the original version. It's so much better.

TheOcelot reacted to Ryannumber1gamer in Huh, all the launch day shipments of the PS5 sold out here. Now we wait for November
    @TheOcelot
Amazon UK’s pre orders go live at 9am (UK). If you search Amazon UK PS5 on Google, you should be able to find the link for the page. It’ll pop an error, since the page isn’t live yet, but you can keep refreshing it and it should go live at 9.
You can also do that, and have a search for PS5 on Amazon and keep refreshing at 9. You’ll need to be quick though, as many are hunting them, even US and other countries are going to import them.
Other places in the UK are:
Smyths Toys (No delivery but some stores still have click and collect available) Very UK (Pre orders went up 20 mins ago) Argos (Pre orders start on Friday at 10am)

TheOcelot got a reaction from Ryannumber1gamer in Crash 4 demo is not fun.
Bottomless pits everywhere, the "?" areas seem way harder and parts of the grinding areas sections move too quickly to be able to react in time. Level design is confusing in the Cortex stage.
Momentum is awful. It's like Crash 4 is the true Sonic 4 of Crash games

TheOcelot reacted to Supah Berry in Is there anything the Adventure games did better than later games post-Colors?
Its written for Shonen fans instead of babies, it had characters other than Sonic playable, gave it's characters other than Sonic and Eggman a real role, it's levels are more than just a straight line, the average playthrough is longer than all the post-Colors put together, actually resembles a platformer instead of a racer, good new characters (this was when they still had the spine to make new characters mind you), majority of content is not rehashes, larger replayability courtesy of Chao Garden among many others, and multiplayer. Good grief all the wasted potential not doing multiplayer races.
In short, from what a Flicky told me

Pretty cool that art from Hidden Palace was used in Spinball. Art from another cancelled Sonic 2 stage; Genocide City/Cyber City was also used Spinball (for the "The Machine" level).
