  1. Few weeks back my friends convinced me to watch the anime (first one I've watched since Pokemon :P) and I liked it quite a lot. Ever since I've been thinking about getting the manga but I have a question.

Are characters more developed? Eren and Mikasa really pissed me off in the anime because they seemed so flat in comparison to Armin. Eren didn't really go beyond 'KILL ALL TITANS! REVUNG' and I feel like Mikasa needed more inner monologues. Does the manga goes more in-depth with these characters?

We had a lot of people on the forums saying ‘can I play this on PlayStation 4?’ We had actually been anticipating that, and started working on it pretty much as soon as we finished the PlayStation 3 [version]," he explained. "We weren’t sure if it was going to go anywhere, but when we saw the fans clamouring for it we doubled-down, and put more effort behind it.

The graphic fidelity has been turned up to eleven. We’ve got 1080p, we’re pushing the draw distances further, we’re creating higher resolution character models, better lighting, better shadows.

So yeah after that trailer I'm kinda looking forward to it. I'll probably get it once the price drops down.

  3. Since I don't plan on getting a PS3, a PS4 version shall suffice. Still, what exactly is so amazing about this game?

Story of course! This game is a huge love letter to all the post-apocalyptic stories out there because of that it's not exactly fresh or super original but that kind of story was never put in a video game format so well before. All characters are interesting and human - Ellie and Joel relationship is great and it's my favourite part of the game.

I loved exploring the world too. It's just so beautiful... it's like New York in I Am Legend movie taken to the extreme. There are lots of notes, diaries and things like that and all of them tell you different stories about inhabitants of this world. I found that to be really interesting.

There's also combat and this is where people tend to split into different camps. Some love it, some don't. I found it to be really fun. Guns are heavy and pack a hell of a punch. Melee combat is just as satisfying and brutal as the gunplay. It's matter of preference really. If you're bored with third person shooters the gameplay is not going to blow you away or anything.

  4. That was easily the best episode in this season and probably my favourite episode so far. They actually made the Bill & Ben arc from comics BETTER by developing and exploring sisters' character. The writing and pacing was top notch too. I wish every episode was as good as this one.

Way to go The Walking Dead!

  5. I heard there was a controversial scene before playing.  When it got to the scene where they drink alcohol I was like "what did people really find this controversial".  Then I reached the ACTUAL scene people meant and I was like "what did people really find this controversial".

Well, on the IGN, before the DLC release if you even dared to MENTION the possibility of Ellie being gay, you'd get called out as a sick pedophilic fuck.

I guess most people don't feel comfortable talking about teenagers' sexuality. They think it's lewd and perverted because they are 'little kids'.

  6. I really liked the game, 15 doesn't seem much for this dlc. Is it pretty lengthy?

Dlc don't get price drops I'm pretty sure. Unless of sales

It took me almost three hours to beat as I explored every corner but you can beat it in over an hour.

  7. Wow its here, I totally forgot about this dlc. Honestly I'm not in the mood for it right now, my main focus is pretty much do key Kong.

But i'll definitely be picking this up sooner or later.

    How much is the dlc?

12 pounds/15 US dollars I think. It's a bit too expensive so I'd recommend you to wait for a price drop unless you're a hardcore TLOU fan.

  8. The DLC was great. It didn't affect me as much as the main campaign but it was still really entertaining. All the Ellie and Riley moments were brilliant - some of them reminded me of the times I used to play on the playground with my friends.

Combat is just as fun as in the main game, hell, I'd say that it was implemented even better than in the main campaign. I gotta play with the 'Infected and Humans at the same time' mechanic more next time. I didn't manage to make a runner eat a hunter on my first playthrough.

The ending was amazing. I loved that it tied into the main campaign. Final dialogue is brilliant too and the way it mirrored the original ending was just.. UHH THE FEELS.

    'What's option three?'

  9. As said already... they have said in interviews they have no plans to do any more of Joel and Ellie's story.

Actually ND said that Joel and Ellie's quest for vaccine is over. Neil Druckmann himself said that they might come back to these characters in the future.

Is it confirmed anywhere if Riley is related to Marlene? Just curious

I'm 100% sure they are not related.

    Small comic spoiler

Riley said that her mother was eaten by a runner (her dad to me more specific)

I wouldn't mind a sequel but 2015 is way too early. Continuation of Joel and Ellie's story would destroy the interpretation factor of the ending though.

Gabz's idea is much better in my opinion. TLOU2 set in Japan please!

  10. I just watched Kick-Ass 2 and it's really entertaining. It tells the same story as the comic but does it in it's own way - just like the first Kick-Ass.

Acting is still great. Hit-Girl once again steals the show and Christopher Mintz-Plasse is absolutely hilarious as The Motherfucker. The movie had some plot points from the Hit-Girl spin-off comic too (Uncle Ralphie!).

There are a few things that bothered me though. Pacing is a little bit weird. It's way too fast for my tastes but who knows, maybe it will make it more rewatchable.

Fight scenes are not as awesome as in the first movie but they are still great. My favourite is probably the 'Hit-Girl To The Rescue' fight followed closely by the Hit-Girl vs. Mother Russia.

Also they went a bit overboard with some jokes in this movie (spoilers for Kick-Ass 2 movie and comic)

This whole radio-transmitter device that makes people puke and crap wasn't funny. Mindy's revenge on the girl bullies in the comics was much more satisfying.

I also didn't like that they they turned The Motherfucker raping a girl (which was one of the darkest moments of the books) into 'I can't get a boner' joke. Serioulsy... why?

All in all, it's still an entertaining flick. I would definitely recommend especially if you liked the first one.

Did you guys see the movie? If yes then what is your favourite fight scene and what do you think about the movie itself?

  11. They are really improving. Voice acting, graphics and gore was much better in this episode.

    My choices:

I made a distraction for Christa, killed the dog, accepted Nick's apology and gave the water.

In the end I actually went with Nick. It seemed like a better idea. I mean he had a rifle and was closer to the exit. Besides Pete was bitten (I think) and even if he wasn't then how the hell am I supposed to fight off all the zombies. I'm just a 10 year old kid with a hammer >_<

I can already tell that talking to Sarah is going to be pain in the ass because I swore that I'm going to be her BFF.

Regarding the 'I thought you were dead' person my vote goes for Christa. I assumed she died after my crappy 'distraction' but we never know. I mean it's more likely than Kenny.

Also I didn't blackmail the pregnant chick. Will leave that for a better occasion. >:D

  12. The Last of Us

I love zombie/post-apocalyptic stories and this game is like the ultimate zombie game. Story is not something revolutionary or super original - it's all about the character study. It's simple and heart-wrenching, the way post-apocalyptic tales should be in my opinion.

Guns feel great and pack a big punch. Melee seems buggy at first but once you get used to the way it works you can pull out some really awesome moves. Enemy AI is amazing and the only issue I have with it that their awareness is a bit... weird. For example: I'm strangling somebody in a room and the other guy just walks by the room despite the loud and obnoxious gurgling noises.

Presentation is flawless. Graphics are truly beautiful and buildings reclaimed by nature are stunning. It's like I am Legend (film) taken to extreme. Soundtrack is also quite beautiful. Props to Gustavo Santaolalla for making yet another great OST.
