  1. I haven't had the chance to play everything I picked up from SAGE this year, but Emerald Ties has so far been my favorite of the Sonic Worlds-based games. To the credit of the current build of the engine, it feels SO much better than Before/After the Sequel, and while I am also not quite sold on the spritework and animations done on Sonic himself, I do want to give brownie points for the SA2 design being used. The Tornado shield was a pleasant surprise, and didn't feel out of place alongside the returning shields from S3&K. The level design was really nice, and felt intuitive compared to some other older fangames and ROM hacks I've messed about with as well. All in all, it's honestly a sweet demo, and I really wish there was just a little more content because the game felt genuinely fun to play, but that's obviously just my way of saying I really like this, and want to see more in the future.
  2. I've been obsessively listening to the Hamilton Original Broadway Cast Recording since August, It's really starting to consume much of my spare time, haha. If I'm not listening to that, I'm probably listening to some form of Sonic music.
  3. Thanks so much, SilverFanBoy! I really appreciate the welcome. I'm looking forward to trying to branch out my social horizons, and really should have joined TSS years ago, haha.
  4. Hey all, I'm Amber, a 23-year-old workaholic who happens to be into a bunch of nonsense. I'm a living irony that works overnights as a hotel night auditor, and despite being paid to be good with numbers, I'm terrible at them. I spend my spare time when I'm not sleeping between shifts burning the midnight oil online, and have started branching out to forums to find folks that share my interests. It just so happens my oldest interest I still have today involves the Sonic franchise of games, so here I am. I enjoy drawing, writing, speedrunning, and generally entertaining folks, which is funny, considering I'm usually more of an introvert. I often seem deadpan and awkward, but I'm honestly just tired a lot and am otherwise happy to talk to people. If you see me online, give me shout!
  5. Learning ClickTeam Fusion 2.5 now. Tutorial was going super smooth until I had to figure out where my installation directory was to find some sound samples. After 3 system searches, 5 attempts at going through all my main file directories manually, and 3 Google searches, I realized I was an idiot.Oh well. Moving on. Let's pretend that never happened.
