  1. So . . . . I just got ahold of someone from SEGA about music via a phone call. Apparently I'm gonna need more of an online presence. So I'll be here getting my SoundCloud rolling once and for all. This could be big!

I'm assuming you need a musical presence online, sort of like an online portfolio of your samples before SEGA will even take a look

Either way, good luck on your journey dude!

Right now all I have is my Newgrounds page. It's unfortunate that they have absolutely no streaming options. I'm gonna need to switch to either SoundCloud, or YouTube. Or both, probably. Besides, Newgrounds has become somewhat of a ghost town in the last decade so this needs to be done regardless

Yeah dude, Newgrounds is dead. I only go on it maybe twice a year for nostalgic trips.

I'd say get a Soundcloud and upload to youtube in a separate, musically focused Youtube channel. If say you're making an entire album of say, level themed music pieces, could think about getting a Bandcamp account!

You could also shoot @#AR a lovely well-constructed message. He's a nice dude and does some really impressive stuff on his Soundlcoud, which I'll link here

Also I think @Wolfy does music too. Could get some tips from him, though I have no idea if he still visits the site often

That’s awesome to hear! Please keep us posted on your journey and best wishes to you! ?

Hmmmm I've heard of Bandcamp as well. I'm also thinking of reviving my OCRemix account from 2007 to do this too (if I can remember the password). The pointers are appreciated, @Scott! I'll definitely see if I can get ahold of these peeps

But right now I'm using Word to type out a paragraph for each song I have so I can just make this simpler. I've got 87 to type out and I'm only on #8 right now XD

!! Hello yes I do music things too and I would just like to tell you now: Getting your music up on as many websites as possible is a must. Whenever you have the time, I would recommend getting your stuff uploaded on every music-related website possible. It's a very tedious process, but beneficial at the end of the day because you notice how much attention you end up getting altogether. Best of luck ! :D

It appears I've got my work cut out for me for a while
