  1. He says he's playing the extra stages after the cutscenes. Taking a little break.
  2. This looks more challenging than Terminal Velocity, to be fair.
  3. New video with the cutscenes before and after the Classic Sonic Eggman boss fight: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXczS59CtOI
  4. It's from the Twitter of the producer/writer of Forces.
  5. I guess none of you guys have seen the official sketch for Forces that Shun Nakamura posted on his Twitter of Tails beside Modern Sonic, Tails fighting Chaos and Sonic fighting Metal Sonic. The quote that accompanies the Tweet sounds like Adventure Tails, implying that he finally wants to stop standing around. EDIT: The pic Dee Dude posted.
  6. It was stated in a Forces interview by either Nakamura or Iizuka that the reason Eggman's robots look that way is because they're trying to make them look more "military-like." I'm hoping that Eggman is as evil as in the Archie comics, especially since this is the Eggman Empire decal in Forces (don't know if this was posted yet:)
  7. I noticed that in the last two screenshots, those cubes in the balls of energy that Metal Sonic has bear some resemblance to the cubes Infinite had used in the E3 trailer. This, along with the fact that the glitchy effect that surrounds Infinite is surrounding Metal as well, seems to support what others are saying about the villains being illusions or being mind-controlled by Infinite. In any case, the villains seem to be able to use some of Infinite's powers if this is the case. However, one thing I don't get is that it was stated that Shadow is fighting for his own reasons. Regardless of the fact that he looked brainwashed in the Enter Infinite trailer, he couldn't have been if that was the case. Something else related to Infinite's power that I noticed is that it most likely comes from that gem-looking object in the middle of his chest. If you pause during the parts where Infinite is using his powers (the AMV-like part) in the Enter Infinite trailer, you'll see the energy coming from that gem. Just wanted to point this out just in case nobody noticed it.
  8. We'll be getting a good amount of info from a Forces livestream occurring on the 24th on Nicovideo/YouTube. Forces will be playable at Gamescom, but we're not aware of whether or not we'll be seeing new stages yet.
  9. I already made a thread about this, titled "Sonic Forces Renders."
  10. I'd like a stage akin to Egg Fleet in Heroes and one similar to Aquatic Base. I'd LOVE a new space zone akin to Final Rush. I hope the temple-looking area in the Enter Infinite trailer is a stage similar to Lost World from Adventure.
  11. IMO, this is the first badass Modern Sonic art we've had for Forces so far. Also, new art of Eggman, Metal Sonic, and Infinite: https://imgur.com/0sQqFC9 http://imgur.com/kA2VjH8 http://imgur.com/s1zTpgO
  12. Wow, they look Unleashed-tier. Also, apparently we're getting a new trailer soon.
  13. I'm glad Nakamura realizes and acknowledges that people have been worried by the localizations because of their poor quality in the past. https://twitter.com/SonicJPNews/status/898913281586286593 Edit: He also posted this, and I'm not 100% sure what it means: https://twitter.com/SonicJPNews/status/898912390716178432 https://twitter.com/SonicJPNews/status/898912442624770050
  14. Born in 2001. Grew up with the Adventure games, Advance games, and classics (through Mega Collection and Gems Collection.) I like the classics more than the boost games following Unleashed (I really loved the sense of speed that you had playing in day stages, and my only qualm about the Werehog is that the stages were too long (in the PS3/Xbox 360 versions.) The Adventure games are my favorite, and S3&K and Sonic Adventure have the best level design IMO.
  15. Aaaand... now I'm putting two and two together and realizing that most of, if not all of this info is probably legit. When Forces was still "Project Sonic 2017," late in 2016, Larry posted story details about Forces, a LOT of which turned out to be true and said that the title then was "Sonic Wars." This can't be a coincidence.
  16. So a person made a post on 4chan a few days ago talking about some info about Forces that he had gotten from SEGA of Europe, and although there's no real way to determine whether he's lying or not, it's info that I thought was worth posting here: -Tails does not die during the game, something else happens to him. Another character will die, however. -You've seen Infinite before now, but it is not what you are expecting. -There will be a major plot twist involving Infinite. -Tails, Knuckles, Amy and Avatar all have character development with Sonic. -No other Sonics will appear, however, there is a reference to "Boom Sonic". -Silver will travel back in time to fix his future, there will be multiple missions based around him. -A certain beloved Classic Era character will appear as a hero. -There will be an Easter Egg if you make a certain combination with Avatar. -The working title for the game was, in fact, "Sonic Generations 2", it later became "Sonic Wars" but was changed again. -Wisps are important to the story. -Many have already guessed why Shadow is a villain. Chaos and Zavok are both fighting for similar reasons. -The story has multiple emotional and "feel-good" moments, as well as drama between characters. -One final tidbit, there may be other playable characters.
  17. Everyone seems to be under the assumption that Pontaff is involved in the localization, when Graff is the only one who tweeted about his involvement.
  18. So Nakamura, the producer of Forces, has recently been confirmed as writing for Forces in a tweet he posted: https://mobile.twitter.com/Nakamura_ShunR/status/895776350362976256 How do you guys feel about this? Personally, I'm not freaking out over one of 06's writers working on the story for this game. There were numerous factors that had caused 06 to fail the way it did, and I don't mind giving Nakamura a chance. We don't know who is handling the localization besides Graff yet (although Ian Flynn has hinted at potential involvement a few times now over Twitter,) so I hope the story is faithfully translated over here.
  19. It's not him. It was confirmed that there will not be any classic iterations of any characters besides Classic Sonic in Forces.
  20. Don't know if this was posted already, but apparently Ohtani isn't the only composer for this game:
  21. https://twitter.com/SonicJPNews/status/867326130071769088 Lost World was written by Pontaff and Graff, Colors and Generations IIRC were localized by them.
  22. I'm tired of people saying Graff and Pontaff wrote the game. The game is being written in Japan, while they're localizing it.
  23. Hello, nice to meet you all. I haven't posted here before, but I have been following this forum for a while now. Anyway, apparently the game is being written in Japan. So that means that Pontac and Graff are doing the localization? Or maybe I'm reading it wrong? https://twitter.com/SonicJPNews/status/867326130071769088
