  1. 3rd Day in without a Cigarette. Feeling it a bit this morning I gotta admit.

Oh you’re quitting smoking? I hear it’s very hard to do (I’ve never smoked) but it can be done! I hope you stick to it and remain determined amid any difficulties or setbacks even and that you’ll eventually be successful.

Thank you Kiah 🙏 I will certainly try. I was going to do it for New Years but it got pushed aside through one reason or another. I started on Friday and have not had one since Thursday evening. It’s hard , but not  impossible. I’ll keep you posted on how I get on.

      Dont EVER Smoke

You can do it brother! It's actually simpler than it seems. You'll notice the difference financially first. Then you start feeling really good by week 2. You will be fine by week 6. I myself am on week 9 right now

Hi Pauly , hope you’re well. I’ve been told Week 2 is the difference maker. As they say , 2 weeks to make a habit 2 weeks to break one. You’re on week 9!?? Well done , what’s the been  hardest for you so far?

@Eurisko you’re welcome and please keep us posted!

@PaulyBFromDa303 that’s awesome that you have quit as well and have gone as long as you have. Keep it up!

@Eurisko I guess it gets tempting whenever I'm in a frustrating situation, someone threatening me at work (cause we all hate authority figures) or when Kujo driving next to me shouldn't be behind a wheel cause they're trying to hit me. Things like that. It does help to have snacks, ie candy, chips, or my go-to beef jerky

@PaulyBFromDa303 Yeah man  I'm a fan of the Beef Jerky , love that stuff :grinning:. I've found that gum helps a bit but other than that that's about as much as you can do. I know there's Nicotine gum and patches and the like but to me I feel that would just be replacing one thing for another. I want free of it completely.

I can tell you from experience, gum doesn't really help. Cold turkey is the best way to go. But it's not my way

I've actually been cigarette free for over two years at this point. Like, actual cigarettes. I've been doing vape pens/e-cigs this whole time. Sometimes it did feel like I consumed more nicotine that way . . . however, once you finally take that step to go from e-cigs to cold turkey. it's easier than fighting Robotnik in Palmtree Panic. I haven't really had an urge, like at all.

It's up to you. I would definitely try going cold turkey if you can. E-cigs can be dangerous too. Well, all of those alternatvies can be actually. But at least it's a cut down

I've gone cold turkey , I meant gum in the chewing gum sense 😂. I tried one of my friends vapes and I didn't like it that much. Felt really weird.
