  1. I've seen many youtubers as well as general Sonic fans, call out the line of Classic being from another dimension, but it absolutely makes perfect sense, and here's why. What people don't realize, is that Classic meeting his older self in Generations, caused a massive split in the timeline. Classic being able to meet many of his friends earlier than he should, seeing a lot of places he's been to early, as well as seeing many foes. It wouldn't make sense for these two Sonic to be the same any longer. Same goes for Forces, unless you want to tell me Sonic experienced Generations and Forces twice. Lol Anyway, with all that being said, it's only Sonic who's effected, Classic Tails and Eggman as well. Eggman is one I'm gonna focus on here. When we first heard of what Eggma's plans were, he mentioned about undoing his past mistakes, and he enlisted his younger self as well. Also when defeated, was answering questions about his many failures, which in turns let past Eggman know what worked and what didn't. Now to Sonic Mania, this game marks the beginning of a "New" classic era( which I dubbed Nu-Classic Era). *This Era follows Generations classic Sonic, after his return. Subsequent classic games would fall under here.(Mind you, Modern Sonic's younger that we grew up with does NOT go on these adventures) I've heard many times that Sonic Mania felt like a Sonic game would be on the SEGA Saturn, and judging on Bean and Bark's inclusion in Sonic Mania, we can conclude that at least Sonic the Fighters has occured. It obviously also before Sonic has green eyes. With all that being said. Do you think the Nu-classic era could lead to a nu-Adventure Era? I mean Nu-classic Eggman learning of Modetn Eggman's failures, wouldn't probably follow the same footsteps. AN: I don't think Mania's Eggman's plan with the Phantom Ruby, has anything to do with Modern's in Forces. Base on my Theory, it was just coincidental. Let me know what you think.

I rather the Freedom Fighters be retired... They served their purpose long ago. They aren't needed anymore.
  3. GUN in Forces

I got another thread going up about the Classic Sonic/Another Dimension thing, but there's only one world. The classics never established a world full of Anthro animals. That was just the cartoons of the 90s. There always had to be humans somewhere, as Eggman exists. There was never a time that was ruled out, and SA1 confirmed it.
  4. GUN in Forces

I agree with just about everything you said. I have a different opinion of the first part though. I don't feel GUN clashes, or even goes against Sonic's focus. Eggman's focus is on the world. He plans on destroying it, by wiping out all life. The world created it's own protection, as Sonic and friends aren't known far and wide around the world, or idf known, not always around. It makes absolute sense for people to want to protect themselves. Hell, it even gives Sonic more reason to to protect it from Eggman, as he would think of it as his duty. As Sonic saves the world, the world come to know their safety is fine as long as Sonic's around. If he's not... They would rise to the occasion. About the serious story of Sonic Games, it's not impossible to work it. They need better writers. I draw parallels to Dragon ball a lot, because the worlds are similar. Earth with both Humans, and Anthropomorphic animals. As well as regular animals too. Man... They need a continuity editor. Someone to look after the consistency.
  5. GUN in Forces

Man what a watse of a story... So much could've been done.
  6. GUN in Forces

Where is GUN in Sonic Forces? Where are the humans at all? I felt that was stupid to only show animal people, but no humans. Especially since Eggman took over the entirety of Earth. Why can't they get this sh*t right? Sonic Adventure had police shooting at Chaos 0, but bullets didn't work, and Sonic showed up to help. A scene like this would have showed the whole world, uniting against Eggman. I'm sure they would be effected as well. They dropped the ball on so many things in this story, it's crazy. Imagine if Knuckles was the leader of all the armies, marching forth. Imagine the phantom ruby pulled out Perfect Chaos everywhere, or Giant Zavok with the deadly six, or even just Robots. Anything. They could've dropped Super Shadows, Neo Metal Sonic, a damn GUN Truck. It's ridiculous. Can you imagine Mephilis showing up? or Iblis? Or Dark Gaia? Time Eater? They could've involved the Chaos Emeralds. They could've showed Sonic beat down from the torture, and progressively bring his attitude back over time. I have too many ideas.... ...not sure if their good though. I feel they could've done more, but who knows? Btw Where is GUN in Sonic Forces?

A lot of people thumbs up your comment, but you guys probably didn't understand mine. People seemed to not care for story in the games, but merely for the gameplay. The story would work around that, as basic premise and details should suffice. I never intended on saying that the games didn't need to answer questions, nor not give aintermediateThe comic could provide more intermediate stuff, and build up between arcs. I'm sure you can even add original story in between games arc, that could lead into games and have tie-ins. Maybe add another villain, who could be Anthro, but I also would love another human villain, so who amps himself with robotics, or have special ability himself. I'm sure Eggman isn't only human with ambition. 😒 Besides, I rather Sonic get CHALLENGED for once, maybe even have a badass fight scene, with great choreography. Putting that speed into use.

The thing is people are always saying the comics are better, than the games or the main continuity because the games barely have a fleshed out story, or connection, etc. Wouldn't being close to the games provide answers to a lot of unanswered questions? I'm sure there are benefits to this.
  10. IDW's Sonic the Hedgehog (coming 2018)

The games already established the Planet as Earth. Modern day Earth even. There's nothing wrong with the Planet having humans and Anthropomorphic animals, as another series comes to mind (Dragon Ball). Imo, concepts like Mobius and Freedom Fighters, don't correlate with established updated Sonic canon, their storyline would have to impose on a Earth full of humans. Roboticizing isn't the same either. Eggman these days doesn't even rely on badniks anymore. He creates full metallic robots. What would be the point of Castle of acorn, mobo/robotropolis, or Knothole. Mobius isn't Sonic's home world's name. It was created like the rest to fill in story for Sonic, the games provided little
  11. Dang... How did I miss those two..? Sorry everyone, I totally must have fell asleep here. So Robotnik was adopted along with Chili dogs, but Robotnik isn't used anymore. Weird... I never thought Japan would adopt anything foreign in home made series.
  12. I see. Does this mean Robotnik is not his name?
  13. Hey guys! Havik her again to ask another question. I know that people now unA4derstand how Robotnik became Eggman and vice versa, but I also hear this floating around. That Yuji Naka, or Takashi Iizuka had an interview saying Dr. Ivo Robotnik is his real name, and many claim it that way in the JP version as well. They even had Generations' line as a call back. People also said that Robotnik was used for Gerald and Maria as well, but here are my problems with this. 1. I don't see shred of evidence for this interview. Just like others, which I'll get into later. 2. Robotnik hasn't once been said in the JP versions of the games; only Eggman. Even Games on JP ver. State not knowing Eggman's real name. 2.Gerald and Maria were referred to as such without a last name. Watching a video from a Youtuber name Blackblur(if I can recall) and he played and translated the JP versions. Searching the dialog(since I study Japanese for years now) or his subtitles for Robotnik, and came up short.. 3. Even Tails' line in Generations JP Version, was not "Dr. Robotnik!", but "There are two Eggmans". With past Eggman replying with, not "Nobody cslls me that anymore.", but "Don't be so surprised." My point here is that Japan hasn't embraced Robotnik, in fact it seems non-existant. Not only this subject. There a bunch of instances where Iizuka-san or Naka-san was supposed to have said somthing with no evidence, or misinterpreted. What can we do to prevent such misinformation from spreading?

I myself hope that the Freedom Fighters aren't in the new series, or have a significantly shortened role
