Aw dude Amazon gives me the fear when it comes to pre-orders. Normal orders are great but last few pre-orders have always been late so I go elsewhere for them these days.

True that. Only reason I'm ordering from amazon is because I was able to get the game for $30 after trade ins

  5. I forgot how fucked up Shadow the hedgehog was at times.

      lol 😂

If that was actually in the game that would of been enough to kill a lot of my hatred that I have of it.

  6. Jesus Christ sakurai has been selling this soundtrack short. All the songs posted on the dojo aren't even the best new songs!

  7. It's amusing and also kinda frustrating seeing people to this day struggle on the Tree Tops level.

You see I didn't know I had to maneuver around every loop and go behind me in order to get to the very top of the stage ok.

Funny premise. But wow is it dragged out.

Yeah cartoon sitcoms sometimes fall a little too in love with their own jokes. From TTG, to Pacman, to Spyro, to SB, and sometimes even the really good shows can fall into this trap. Gotta have a good pace or else you either bore or annoy the viewers. Better to have a quicker pace, that's filled with content.

Super eyepatch Wolf brought up such a great point on this scene

That was 5 JOKES...FIVE...in half a minute. All that builds on each other and comes together. It's simple, but completely layered material.

  12. SNOOOOOW!

    IT'S A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE!

  13. Ok so the trend I'm seeing with the Reignited trilogy's soundtrack is that Year of the Dragons OST is WAY better than 1 and 2s for some reason. I don't suppose it being developed by Sanzaru has anything to do with that.

      Ratcicle King

Spyro 3's soundtrack uses way more instruments than 1 and 2(since there's another composer besides Copeland) so the music ends up a lot more richer in quality. This translates well into the remastered OST, compared to 1 and 2, where they limited themselves in the instrument choice to remain loyal.

Well even discounting the reused samples, the instrumentation is overall way better compared to the first two. Their attempt to remain faithful by limiting the instrumentation was to the music's detriment since that limitation was not a virtue of the original OST either

Have you heard the whole OST? And if so, how's the final boss's remix?

      Ratcicle King

Having heard all of Spyro 1's OST (Not 2 and 3, since I want to save the surprise on those, I was never nostalgic for Spyro 1's songs tho'), I'd say the best tracks are those where they stop trying to go orchestral and just rock out, like Blowhard, Dream Weavers, Dark Passage, Haunted Towers and Wizard Peak.

Sadly Toasty's theme kinda lost some impact, because the instruments chosen didn't allow for a heavier drop once the main melody kicks in
