Heads up, issue 20 has been pushed back to 28th August 2019, releasing on the same day as Tangle & Whisper #2

Ugh, what is up with these delays? It's like they're TRYING to deprive us of the comic.

(P.S. That last part is a hyperbole. I don't genuinely think that.)

    I mean to be fair

They mention Ado and Sylux in the post and their Twitter has fanart of Sylux and Ado hanging out being pals, which I can't say is something I expect many people to have drawn.

Oh shit, you're right. Either way, that's fucking lucky. I hope they got this prediction through psychic powers or something.

Please be right about Doom Guy.

The guy who made the post came out.

Anyone can claim that they made that post, but since it's 4chan and it's all anonymous, we'll never know for sure. They could be trying to throw off their tracks, or it could be a person who DOESN'T want those characters in, so they try to claim that it's fake so that they don't believe it. Just stating some possibilities here.

  4. So this video is very interesting... (Possible MAJOR Spoilers)

While I was first a little skeptical, the fact that it predicted the EXACT ALTs used for the Hero ALONGSIDE Banjo-Kazooie all the way back in December makes me think this thing has a little bit of credibility for me.

All I'm saying is, if we get Doomguy, I will be maining him for 'MURICA.

So what new content do you think they'll introduce for this update in the other half of this presentation? Going by Joker's showcase, we can expect Mii costume based on Dragon Quest (Most like some of the other heroes the appear in the final smash), and maybe the return of older Mii costumes as with Tails and Knuckles. Maybe new surprise character costumes altogether. Asides from the stage builder, it also showed the video editor, and the ability to share them via the phone app.

That video was 15 minutes long, making this seven minutes longer. This means they've got a lot of new content to unveil, or the Hero's showcase section will be even grander than Joker's. And that's a very high pedestal to top.

Hopefully, they'll bring back the Geno costume. That was probably my favorite of them.

I know the Dragon Ball comparisons get overdone, but this is just Goku stopping Krillin from killing Vegeta. And they can get around it in the same way. Have some threat later on be defeated by Eggman so fans can go "Ha, you see? Without Eggman everyone would have died so Shadow was wrong."

Here's the difference... Vegeta had a side of good to him, and eventually became good himself. Eggman has, and always will be, evil, and every time he does something good, it's for "Enemy Mine" reasons. He'll go right back to being evil after the threat has been eliminated.

Oh, I mean, it's a fine show.  I've been meaning to marathon in it (watching the episodes in production order, not in air date order) for awhile now.  It's not perfect, but it generally hits all the right beats.

But if you hoped it would be like, say, an animated version of the DuckTales Remastered game, then... well, you'll be quite disappointed to say the least.

I did want something like that initially, but after the first half of the season, I'm glad we got this. It's generally agreed from what I've seen is that it's at least on par with the original. The original is timeless, but a new spin on things ended up for the better IMO (for most things, at least).

Discord. Some guy got the issue early, and another guy (one in the server that I'm in) followed on 4chan. I don't like 4chan, and I don't plan on getting a link, but apparently, it came from SDCC.

And even that I sort of have to look at on its own merits due to its more polarizing departures from the source material.

At least I can tell it was made with actual effort and love by the crew and cast. They do their research and put new spins on familiar stories and characters, which I (usually) like. IMO, it's better that it has any right to be.

Rocko looks pretty good.  Some shots look very underdeveloped, but otherwise, I am enjoying how the digital animation seems to update the aesthetics of the original rather than completely changing it.  If they continue down this route, there's a good possibly the Rugrats reboot will also be worth watching.

Seriously, very shocked that Nick of all companies is doing the retro revival thing innumerable times better than other companies, particularly Cartoon Network.  That is to say, Nick, the same company that has been pretty complacent with mediocrity for over a decade, is doing better than the company that while not without its flaws is still churning out okay-ish shows when they're not shoving 20 hours of Teen Titans Go in your face.

Yeah, the only cartoon so far besides Nick that done a retro revival right, IMO, is the DuckTales reboot.

Dudes, you sound like Sally fans during Mecha Sally arc.

Except these are pretty much the top two most popular characters in the Sonic fanbase, one of which is the MAIN CHARACTER OF THE FRANCHISE. You can't be comparing them to a relatively niche character with a niche fanbase that isn't even allowed to be used anymore.
