  1. Go to Neogaf and go to twitter. Even people who liked the game before now find it boring. That's how bad this footage is. If they can't make a re-reveal like with 3D World, then this game is done.
  2. The game footage is getting panned so hard right now. Not a good look.
  3. Oh, we should probably remember that this is indeed early alpha footage.
  4. The game really doesn't look appealing. Hope they fix the graphics. The new models for Sonic and co. look much better though. The boss battles look like fun as well.....but it just seems like something that will be panned universally.
  5. Never understood why they never tried to use the mechanic from Sonic Advance 2 & 3 but in 3D instead. More control, without making him uncontrollable and make the moment you speed up only the more satisfying.
  6. I don't care what anybody says, this game looks beautiful. Have you seen those environments? Goddamn!
  7. Whatever it is. I can't wait for people to overreact to it.
  8. The reviewer, who reviewed Lost World for IGN, explains his reasoning for his score here. I gotta admit, I do like that there was a person who kinda played the devil's advocate here and tried to highlight the good points of this game. Check it out, if you want. It starts at about 0:44:00: http://ec.libsyn.com/p/e/d/1/ed1d53f5ede81533/NVC102413.mp3?d13a76d516d9dec20c3d276ce028ed5089ab1ce3dae902ea1d01c08530d0ce5f6d26&c_id=6322131

  10. Still, this comment from the official Sonic facebook page describes exactly why I am so frustrated with these reviews.: "I find it bullshit that many of the critics at E3 who played Sonic Lost World, praised the game for it's mechanics and it's gameplay, only to bastardize it during it's release. Way to get Sega's hopes up; pointing out all the flaws and such. Must be some kind of joke. It makes you wonder why the fuck they didn't even mentioned those complaints before? If you had problems with certain elements of the game, you could have informed Sega about the situations a long time ago... they had almost 3-4 months from it's release to make some final touhes! As video game critics, it is your damn job to write a review about the things you find troublesome during the gameplay, giving the publisher/developer inside tips on how to improve the game... but no... they didn't tell them that. Instead, Sega got their hopes up only to be lied to for almost about everything little detail of the game. Very disappointed at those critics... especially IGN and Gamespot."
  11. You want to see the most biased shit ever? I just went to Metacritic and guess which reviews they picked out for this game. http://www.metacritic.com/game/wii-u/sonic-lost-world
  12. Gonna get my copy tomorrow! I am excited. Anybody who lives in Germany, Hamburg, hit me up and I can tell you were you can buy it.
  13. It's nice to see that we all keep an open mind about stuff around here...right? I don't think so.
  14. Man, you start sounding like a broken record. WE GET IT: You don't like the artstyle etc. We know. It's not like it will magicially change in the course of a month.
  15. So, I suppose you don't like this game's narrative?
  16. ArtFenix, you can say that you don't like the artstyle or the gameplay of this game, but calling it a 'low budget game' because it doesn't give you the fast gameplay that you wanted, is a bit of a stretch. On another note: Why does everybody keep mentioning the timer? I haven't seen any sort of timer in the footages we have gotten so far.
  17. I know, I am the minority here, but I just love how this stage looks! It's one of the most vibrant stages I have seen in the series so far, IMO. I am not too worried about the parkour system being underused either. Having seen the footage with Aaron, I am almost certain that there are several things in this stage that we have overlooked, so I wouldn't be so quick to judge.
  18. I am just gonna say it right now... I can finally feel it again. Finally I feel that Sonic Team has gotten it's confidence back. This seems to have so much energy, care and love put into it, it's incredible. I haven't sensed this from them since Sonic Unleashed! That alone is reason enough for me to stay optimistic. Man, I am excited to see more of this!
  19. I'd actually really like them to add some of the sounds to Pokemon-Amie. Similar to how Yamask or Porygon-Z sounded in Pokepark. Speaking of Porygon-Z...
  20. More footage of the full zone of Windy Hill Zone 1 by GameXplain: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAA6PYjNYdM
