Single Status Update
I just tried out the Sword and Shield demo. It was great fun, but the sound quality was kinda...shit.
Huh, so they likely are running into space issues. This might try to explain why they’re cutting Pokemon. Poor audio quality is a common trait of Switch games that are bursting at the seams in terms of file size. The developers compress the hell out of the audio in order to save every bit of space they can.
Though, at this point I think GF needs to start considering a mandatory patch. I know they don’t want to cut off people who don’t have a internet connection but the Switch’s underpowered nature is becoming more and more prevalent by the day. They’re going to need to start utilizing such things to stay somewhat current.
