Part of me is pleased to hear of Sonic Colours getting a remaster since I have never played it but a part of me is also disappointed at the same time as I have a feeling this is going to be our '30th Anniversary' game and I was hoping it would be something new and original which I still hope will happen. I do love the music I have heard from the Sonic Colours soundtrack so I will definitely purchase this regardless . Still hoping one day for PlayStation to have Sonic 3 & Sonic & Knuckles since they are the only games that never got re-released on PlayStation, only available on Xbox.

You have a link to that version of the song at all? Would be interested to hear it myself to see what you mean as I've only heard this version!

Well my avatar is Tails along with my background pic due to Tails being the main character that got me interested in Sonic the Hedgehog.

My congratulations on this being the 20th year of Sonic Stadium l I've been a reader of the site since it launched and is the only place I use for info on Sonic games and fan related games/merchandise relating to Sonic that I would have otherwise missed. My entire collection of Sonic figures and the rest of the gang is all thanks to the articles advising about the many toy rages to be released over the years, long may it continue and I look forward to the celebrations continuing and the build up to Sonic's 30th anniversary next year!

So I really hope the silence about forthcoming Sonic games for consoles can only be a good thing. As the new generation of consoles fast approach I have pre-ordered a PS5 which I had not originally planned to buy on the basis that I am expecting/hoping for a Sonic game being released on the console esp with the 30th anniversary coming up. I imagine that any game that is currently in development is using the PS4/Xbox as the basis for it's release though I imagine there will be a next gen version of those games, my current assumptions are that Sega and Sonic Team are waiting to see how the new consoles do before deciding to reveal any further news about the next game. Still plenty of time before the 2021 to start the anniversary "hype" wagon.

Really don't know what will be done for the 30th anniversary but it would be nice if it was a new game or continuation of the Sonic Adventure series. I've recently replayed Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 on my PS3 although personally I would like to see something new rather than a remaster of one of the earlier games. Perhaps Sega could think about doing a Sonic 30th Anniversary Collection featuring a selection of games from the past 30 years starting with Mega Drive Sonic 1 similar to the old Mega Collection on PS2, I would dearly love to play Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles on the PS4/5. Either way I hope it is a good title as I have always followed Sonic throughout the 30 years and have a PS5 on Pre-Order in preparation for the 30th upcoming game.

At the moment I have two games in play at the moment, main game at the moment is Gran Turismo Sport and the other is Grand Theft Auto V and it's online game. The news about a re-release of the Mega Drive collection though is making me think I should dust off my PS3 and have a remiss with some old classics.

Well I'm looking forward to the new Sonic game annoucement but am not particularly interested in the Mega Drive classicb game as I still have my PS3 copy and the time works well for the announcement UK time so will definetly check it out straight away.

I completed my registration a little while back but this is my first post. I've been a Sonic fan since Sonic the Hedgehog 2 was released on 24 November 1992 as it was my first Mega Drive game and have been a long term fan of Sonic since, my real favourite character though is Tails because I think he's more inteligant that Sonic and he look super cute to look at and of course he can fly. Unlikely that I know anyone on here but I've been a lurker reading the news articles for years as my source of news about Sonic and future Sonic toys which I collect although I have not played any recent Sonic games since Sonic Generations, I played Sonic Mania last year and enjoyed it, I am a 42 year old male and live in Dundee, Scotland, UK. I'm currently one of the few gamers playing GT Sport who uploads Sonic the Hedgehog liveried cars with the decals players have uploaded so if you've seen a Sonic livery in that game recently might have been me that made it.
