  1. Hmm...

A lot of people seem to be having a rough time right now and I find myself feeling selfishly glad that my last depressive episode is behind me. Hopefully everyone will find their footing soon or at least someone to talk to who will let them lament until they have the strength to face the world again.

I hope that, too.  I feel horrible when my friends are suffering and feel that I must help them in whatever way I can

The fear of bringing down others is a primary reason why I don't open up. It sounds selfish but you've gotta be happy when you feel happy. The world is a big place as much as I'd prefer it, it's impossible for happiness to be achieved for everyone at the same time.

As a guy who belives that weather can effect people's mood, I say this could partially be due to it being Fall, now. Tempetures starting to drop, and allergies start kicking in all over again.

@DanJ86I'd rather know then have you suffer alone.  Let me know things like that so I can try and comfort you

I get how you feel @DanJ86, I almost never talk about my depressive episodes due to not wanting to upset or irritate anyone else. Of course I also have the illogical fear that no one will understand or that they'll give me the same half-baked replies I typically see thrown peoples way. That paranoia of mine makes it really difficult sometimes, but @tailsBOOM! is right hat it is healthier to talk it out. Sometimes just expressing what your feeling is enough to get it off your chest and recover if only a little bit. It may be a little hypocritical of me to say so, but suffering alone in silence is one of the worst things you can do to yourself.
