  1. Well, after being told by both my doctor's office and the CDC that me and my family are at high risk to contract COVID-19, I've decided to take the next month off from work in lieu of the State Governor issuing a stay at home order. The down side is that neither my doctor or the CDC said I should stay home so I'll only be making half pay for the month as my work place would only provide full pay had I received a direct stay at home/quarantine order from a doctor or the CDC. I still count myself blessed however as I know a lot of work places would never pay you at all during this time so I really am grateful. It just bothers me being told my family and I are at high risk to contract this virus yet also being told to just go out in public regardless. It just doesn't sit right with me.

Anyway, even though I now find myself with a month of free time I doubt I'll be on any more than usual. I'll be switching my sleep cycle around for now so I'm up during the day for the first time in almost a year so I can attend to errands at home now that I have the time for them. I also will probably be focusing on my Japanese studies more if I can build a good schedule and that can be pretty time consuming. In general though, taking this month to sequester myself away for the good of myself and my family does not equate to more time online. If anything, it might end up being less. I can't say for sure yet, but we'll see.

No matter what happens, keep yourself safe. Stay smart and vigilant. Make sure you're taking all the steps you can to avoid it. I myself have been staying home as much as I can except for food and work, which apparently I've been working more hours because this whole pandemic thing really boosted our business. I learned that one of the properties I patrol has people with the virus. But I've been staying in the patrol car as much as possible, I'm not getting out unless I have to. So far, so good. But please stay safe out there

Best I can do right now. Shame after this month though it's either go back to work or have no job. Hopefully in my town this stay at home order will help control the situation and it won't be as bad when I do go back.

Good luck, J. Be careful and take this time to enjoy yourself.

Take care of yourself and follow the proper guidelines. This is a scary time for everyone and has forced everyone to make a change to their daily schedules in some way shape or form. Hope it works out for you.

What matters is staying safe, okay?
