A Peep

This topic might be more interesting now that Unleashed is seen as “a hidden gem that critics overlooked as another way Sonic tries to keep relevant” and since Colours is seen as “a blocky game that critics ate up because it was easy and pandered to them.”
 
btw, unleashed and colours are some of my favourite sonic games, colours kinda grew on me

A challenge I have fun doing is seeing how long I can sustain boost mode in Sonic Advance 2

Not too much. Just small improvements like making Knuckles’ drill into the ground like SA2, making Amy a bit faster, a more SA2 light speed dash, maybe even putting beta Windy Valley back in. There is one cool thing I’d like though. 
Basically, the sonic & knuckles versions of Sky Deck happen at the same time, so the reason why the gravity gets screwed in Sonic’s stage is because Knuckles keeps tilting it. So maybe in sonic’s stage, if you’re observant, you see Knuckles tilting the ship, and in Knuckles’ stage, you hear Sonic go, “woah!” or something. Little touches like that would make the game feel a lot more cohesive 

I’m going to be optimistic and say that if Sonic Team absolutely has to shoehorn in Classic Sonic, they’d make it a skin for getting all the emblems and possibly make 2D versions of Emerald Coast, Speed Highway etc... for DLC. That said, while I don’t think a hypothetical SA1 remake would strip half of its content, add wisps etc.. I think they would add additions from SA2 (bounce bracelet, non-spammy spindash, improved drill claw, better light speed dash) which could be for better or worse depending on who you ask. Honestly though I’d rather a game with inspiration from SA1 than a SA1 remake.

The signs that TSR would miss its original holiday 2018 release date were pretty clear, but regardless of how you feel it was meant to release then. It was officially delayed to work on the online infrastructure, although it seems reasonable that more was worked on during this time as well. TSR wasn't "revealed early", it was just released late. The game went through a massive media silence because of the delay.

Yep, that one has happened to me a lot too.
In other Tails-related glitches (or bugs), in Advance 1, if you play as Sonic with Tails, when you finish X Zone in the bad ending, Tails just stands there in the results screen, then he’ll go into his idle animation. Cracked me up the first time I saw it.

Sonic Blast - because of the lava level 
Sonic Adventure - because of Big’s stages
Sonic Adventure 2 - because of Security Hall
Sonic Advance 2 - I think around Sky Canyon I quit
Sonic 06 - one of Sonic’s mach speed segments, then the ball puzzle
Sonic Unleashed - as much as I love the game now, I used to hate it. I quit during the Werehog’s stage in Mazuri 
Sonic and the Black Knight - I really hated the motion controls
Sonic Lost World (3DS) - I quit during the stupid pushing snowball stage

. keep Christian Whitehead and his crew for 2D
. Release 2D and 3D within each other eg. 3D game - 2021, 2d game - 2023 so on. This way fans won’t have to wait that long for games as much especially with different teams working on them.
. Scrap the boost. I like Unleashed & Generations but with Forces, the boost ran (ha ha) it’s course. Instead, bring back SA1 or 2’s speed stages
