    Reading the Japanese manual for Sonic Blast:
    "While Sonic was sleeping, Eggman  tried to kill him with a laser beam but was deflected by Knuckles using a Chaos Emerald, which caused a blast."

    I wonder how people would react if the boost was relegated only to a singular massive hub world that connected all of the action stages.

    Evening SSMB,
    No time to really chat and hang around, but thought I'd share my latest piece of art here

    It is more of a painting-like piece as inspired by some of the work I commissioned. I'll stick to commissioning painting styles in the future though but hope everyone enjoys this piece in the mean time 😊
    EDIT;
    And of course you can find it over on my art thread as well

    I should probably go to bed. I'm trying to contribute to a conversation but feel like I'm treading Jell-O and have no clue what I'm trying to say. Maybe my response has some logic in it and somebody will understand, but honestly, working nights and trying to respond to day time response before I go to bed just isn't working for me today. Have a goodnight SSMB, even if it is technically daytime in my time zone.

    No video to go with this morning greeting as I have my first pic of the year done.

    Naturally it's my Rosy to get the year started.
    While I'm happy enough with how it turned out it is riddled with problems, and since this is here I'll allow myself to be more critical than elsewhere. Critical as I am though, I am happy I was able to add color to her eyes, though without me saying anything I don't think anyone would realize it's the same shade of blue that I use when I color Sonic. I also finally got around to naming the AU I've been thinking up for her so that's pretty cool too.
    Anyway, enjoy everyone and it'll be up on my art thread
    for easier long term tracking as well.

    I'm not really one for resolutions, but one of the things I want to do this year is start the process of learning Japanese. I've been paying for Rosetta Stone for years and have yet to really put it to use. I've used it a little in the past and found that the method seems to work for me so I'm going to be going at as best as I can this year and I've already put in an hour of lessons to start the year.
    It's just a matter of discipline to keep at it and finding ways to keep the "what's the point?" thoughts from permeating my every thought. Not giving up is so hard for me, especially when I can't see an end goal even being possible (spending a few years in Japan being my ultimate goal). Trying to set minor goals is hard to as my desire to feel like I'm getting somewhere usually has to be met with results that feel like it hasn't been a waste. Considering how long it will be before any such levels of tangibility will be achieved I'm going to need far more discipline and patience than I've ever had. Here's hoping 2020 is teh year for it.
