  1. It's actually a simple fix. Click the genesis/megadrive and check launch fullscreen. That's it, no really that's it.
  2. I still can't believe the gtx 1070 is about $380 for performance outdoing 2 980's in sli (was that confirmed to be the 980 or 980 ti) and a single Titan x. The pc I thought of as a pipe dream for now, actually looks to be a reality in the near future. I'm pretty excited to finally have a gaming pc let alone one that outdoes ps4/xbox one performance.

Really excited about it since I was planning on getting a GTX 970 in the summer, but 1070 sounds stellar

Does Anybody Remember That Sonic X Game For The Leapster?

I saw this a few times at the store but I never asked my parents to buy it for me, because I was too old for it by that point. The game itself reminds me of old crappy gamemaker games honestly. My sister did however get this:
  4. Ok call me crazy, but during the final fantasy XV platinum demo preview I noticed the guy playing the game did not appear to be using a ps4 controller or xbox one controller.

As for what he was using, it looks a lot like a logitech f310, which is a 3rd party controller for pc. So maybe...?

  5. I actually thought controlling my desktop with my xbox 360 controller would feel more awkward. I even typed this status with it (that was a little harder to do. I'm using an application called controller companion that you can get for about $4 on steam

  6. happy birthday!

  7. Final Fantasy 15 actually looks very interesting. :D

  8. Well here's something I thought I'd never do. One of my friends has been begging me to buy borderlands 2 and play with him, unfortunately I don't have the best laptop to run games on. I saw a video with many tweaks to make it run on hardware at an even lower end than mine. So, originally I planned on buying the game then refunding it later if it didn't run. Instead I pirated it, yah I'll admit it, so that if I needed more than 2 hours to make those tweaks I could (the game actually runs at 30-60 fps at the lowest settings on my laptop, so it was ultimately pointless), but a couple hours later I get a notification saying an item on my steam wishlist was on sale, ironically it was borderlands 2, so yah that happened.

      Also I should be asleep.

Honestly, I feel like Borderlands 2 is a lot weaker than the original. In B1 I could easily replay it over and over just on account of how interesting and diverse their vault hunters are, but Zer0 aside all the new guys are so unbelievably boring and I'm sure as hell not paying more money to find out if the DLC chars are worth it.

Borderlands 2 was great! The humour was better, Jack was a better Villain and generally it mostly improved on what the first game set up. It also had better expansions..

      Fucking Moxy's Underdome Riot...

Though I waited for Game of the Year edition, because I like having everything for nothing. Sucks you can't play as any of the original Vault Hunters in it either. And as @Blacklightning said, all characters besides Zero are boring. Not tried any of the DLC characters, but I'm not interested in doing so either.

And then there's the Pre-Sequel. It's generally the Borderlands equivalent of Arkham Origins. Doesn't really innovate in any way, just plays very similar to Borderlands 2, but with low Gravity, and a HUGE amount of ear-grating Aussie voices.

    FREE GAME: Bean Ninja!

As soon as I started the executable it asked me to open a file, maybe Bean Ninja I thought, so I did just that. Next it asked me for permission to access my network, fine alright, but as soon as that happened the text box closed, yet the game was shown running in the background in my task manager. That doesn't make me feel comfortable, despite the fact that I had scanned it before running the program. Insert I'm probably paranoid emoticon here
  10. Well it's official Sonic 4 still sucks. FYI I just bought the PC version of Ep 1 (I have the 360 version, but eh) and 2 (played through the beta 8 version some years back) and played through the first zones of both games. I bought both games, because I wanted Episode metal btw.

Sonic Lost World heading to Steam (2 November)

On the topic of level mods, seaside hill anyone. I'm honestly surprised no one's talked about this yet. Apparently you can also swap hover over tails too (though it looks rediculous).
  12. Well it's been...yeah I don't know how long, maybe a month, since I've come on here. So I finally got around to playing legend of korra and it's kinda meh honestly, not so much bad, just meh and a bit clunky.

Oh and you should definitely get downwell on steam, ios, or eventually android.

Then there's Dariusburst: Chronicle Saviors...OMFG the game is optimized so well on pc and it will run on low end pc's (depending on your definition of low end). I should also mention the game is not only extremely fast paced, but there is no slowdown at all, so if you have a hard time with bullet-hell shooters with slowdown this game will seriously challenge you.

  13. Merry Christmas everyone. I hope your day is filled with cheer.

Sonic Lost World heading to Steam (2 November)

It seems we're in the same boat. I have: 4th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-4510U processor (4M Cache, up to 3.0 GHz) 2.00 ghz Integrated Intel® HD Graphics 4400 8 gb ram And I only get lag on windy hill 1, Frozen Factory 1, and Sky Road 1. Frozen Factory for me drops down to 40-50 fps, but everywhere else locked 60 fps. Here's a video of me attempting to Speedrun Sky Road 2.

Sonic Lost World heading to Steam (2 November)

Well I just went through Windy Hill Zone and I have to say, "The game is much better optimized than Generations. I'm getting locked 60 fps at 1024 X 768 at full screen minus grass and shadows. Depth of field doesn't affect performance, but I don't like the blue it creates. Did I mention I'm on Intel hd 4400 graphics. Oh and the game took about 15 minutes for me to download.
