I just dreamed about creating a Power Rangers-like series about rapping bears who took on humanoid forms to fight crime from afar with laser pistols that shot chi blasts after they locked on. The main protagonist was a human who also got changed into a bear while he was in a grassy field. At one point, one of the rap sequences had some guy get his root beer stolen by the bears, before he tried to lock them inside. The bears simply up and left him, and let the propane he was carrying do the work. At the end of the dream, I was in this spooky, dusty old house and led out to my father’s truck by a waif who looked kinda like Saya from Saya No Uta. Another part was discussing what Disney+ would be like if they kept Miramax and Power Rangers. Among the offerings shown on the channel was a fictitious anime where the protagonist was some brunette dude, and he was in a river being splashed with water, all as the Disney+ theme played. And then I red a book of “Alice in Wonderland”, supposedly featuring David Hall’s illustrations; but these now included houses with multiple pairs of eyes, as well as additional ones placed vertically.

Why doesn't this kind of cool stuff appear in my Reddit feed instead of the usual shitpost from the Sonic community?
Well, a date would be nice to take a conclusion. I believe this might be just one of the many turnarounds Sonic X-Treme had. But a 2.5D Sonic game for Saturn would be very impressive, and I'd like something like that. I mean, even 25 years later, and I think this is one of the most desired styles which ended working better with Sonic.
So yeah, it's not just mind-blowing for me as it quite sounds very ahead for the time. I wonder how many other releases never see the light of the day...

I had a dream last night about a hack of the Simpsons arcade game that added additional secret areas and even threw in Tommy and Chuckie from Rugrats for some reason; complete with animated cutscenes of them inside an amusement park ride, where this other kid gave them a jolt of static electricity and held Wawa hostage.

I had a dream that they were celebrating the 30th anniversary of MLP by bringing back G3 Ponies but adding human characters. They seemed to refuse to acknowledge G4, however. By the way, how’s Pony Life doing?

Last night I dreamed about visiting a Disney park of my very own creation. Mr. Toad had a delay, because a bunch of teen girls had been using it for a rally. So I had to investigate. There I found that Peter Cullen had retired due to cancel culture. Apparently he voiced Duke Nukem in this dream. Earlier, I was inside a discount store; and discovered that the Jim Henson company attempted another Christmas Carol movie in 2013. At one point, I was at my old house, where my dad was having a meeting, and served bacon and hot cereal. I was also on a forum where they discussed having Barney in a Streets of Rage game as a joke character. I also played a Mugen installation full of characters I had never heard of.

I feel like one of the reasons people miss Boom so much is because it was less meta than most other Sonic media of the time and shortly after.
-
im sorry?

it's still more meta than there's been in the last decade's worth of non-boom sonic

I hate the Sonic Twitter but even I don't think it's fair to compare it with actual media.

How much longer before SEGA completely buries American Sonic? I still see some vestigial traits in IDW (and the movie to a lesser extent), and some half-joking nods on social media. Mania however had nothing, nor did Forces.

As in, elements of the old American Sonic, like “Robotnik/Kintobor”, the overall tone, etc. I can still smell some vestigial Archie traits in IDW.
IDW tends to feel like Archie lite to me, though I think it feels that way to me because the majority of the staff are from Archie and just brought the same sensibilities to a far more strictly controlled licensed comic. They're also the only people working on the franchise currently that even remotely care about anything pre-Adventure or before 2010 and actually understand why it appeals to some fans.

No different from when they included a playable Shadow in Forces, complete with SA2 and ShTH remixes. Like you said, it's superfical.
Not helping that Sonic's much more popular on western shores than there. Although I suppose Japan doesn't have as big a burning hatred towards Sonic either, so it goes both ways.

If they really want to keep Eggman as the final boss despite other villains being the actually threats, the least they could do is have (insert boss here) Soul fights ala Kirby.
-
Maybe do a secret monster boss a la sonic colors ds.

I just had a dream about me looking on a TV Tropes page about this batshit insane reimagining of Star Wars by some hack director that totally changed the franchise to the point it was pretty much just the Battle Droids and Wookiees left. They were fighting on a post-apocalyptic Earth, and these Earth kids got mixed up in things, and the Battle Droids had flamethrowers with which they would cross the streams for deadlier firepower. Then suddenly, crossing the streams was all the rage in REAL LIFE, too.
Earlier, I was paid to answer Star Wars trivia questions from observing the movies for Easter Eggs. I saw Stan Lee and George Lucas watching the movie. I supposed Walt Disney and Jim Henson were also watching from the heavens. Meanwhile, I visited this exhibit about the current doings of the Creature Shop, and how they had a parade float featuring Muppet reinterpretations of other popular characters. I actually got to handle this weird featureless Snoopy-like plush they made. The rest of the dream was in a hotel where I was trying to get to Disney California Adventure.

Sounds like a pretty daring synopsis, but Episode X sound phenomenal

Another weird thing regarding Two Worlds:
Two worlds not only predates Individual Bubbles and the Classic-Modern Split, it goes back to the Genesis era, and it isn’t even a WESTERN CONCEPT, to boot!
-
Yeah, but it's more like the Western conception of Mobius because a separate human-populated Earth wasn't established yet.

Ok that description got a few snorts from me. How do you have a fox complexation? Also fox brown hair should be a color. lol
But there's another piece of support for the 2 worlds theory being true.

What I always found amusing was that sign claims Tails' fur is brown, when he clearly isn't, yet in Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, where Tails is clearly brown, Sonic says he's orange.

Remember when people thought Sonic Lost World was dark? Nowadays people have completely forgotten that.
-
During the twilight of Eisner's reign, people wanted to #SaveDisney. Nowadays, starting in the twilight of Iger's reign, people are more wanting to kill it. Before Onward came out, I thought it was about how Disney had changed. Now that Onward was released, I realize it's about how the world has changed.

What if...
(spoilers for Sly Cooper and Danganronpa below)
Penelope IS Clockwerk, sorta like the relationship between Monokuma and the real Junko Enoshima? There would also have been a Mukuro in the equation, making the one from the third game technically not Clockwerk. This would actually make a lot of sense to explain things like her change in behavior
-
If a future Sonic movie has Blaze, she should be voiced by Michelle Rodriguez. It would be a nice homage to her fate in 2006, and the types of characters Michelle Rodriguez has a tendency to play.

What if there was a reverse-Zombot virus that turned all metal and inorganic material into flesh? That would be a fun arc.
-
I mean, Archie kiiinda did it when they did the whole deroboticisation around the 100s milestone.

Given Zavok's apparent regeneration power, if you split him in twain, would there eventually emerge twin Zavokii from the partitioned segments?
