  1. I'm wondering if the new Metal Sonic Phase 3 is supposed to be something that is supposed to be a part of Encore Mode, and this update isn't actually complete, resulting in it being in the normal playthrough on accident. I don't know, as cool as the new Phase 3 is, it feels weird that they would completely erase the old Phase 3 forever. I'm buying Plus physically anyway, so don't really want to update the digital copy I already have if it means completely getting rid of anything unique to the game before version 1.04. At the same time, if the save data is supposed to transfer over, I'd probably need to update the digital copy in order to do that...
  2. That logo looks kind of... Bad. Like, amature first time using Photoshop in high school bad. And what is with that background, this is Sonic not The Roadrunner, lol.
  3. I've seen this point being thrown around, but IIRC they are Sonic Team characters specifically, not general Sega characters. So like, Billy Hatcher or someone from Burning Rangers could be in as a bonus character, but nobody from Skies of Arcadia. But yeah, even if characters are there, it would still be disappointing for me personally because there would most definitely be no tracks from House of the Dead, Jet Set Radio, etc. IDK, maybe I'm just coming off as entitled. Like I said, I just don't want the All-Stars series to end, and the developer behind it working on what is essentially the same game but trimming out one of the main selling points of the previous titles makes me worried that that is exactly what's happening here.
  4. I like games other than Sonic, dude. I really wanted to see Billy Hatcher return, and representation from other series that haven't had a playable character yet like Puyo Puyo. I can get story and interaction between Sonic characters in their own games. I'm sure this game will be fun and I'm interested in seeing more info for it (here's hoping Studiopolis is a track), but I don't really want it if it means the All-Stars series ends. That's my main worry right now.
  5. I hope Sonic the Hedgehog eats a chili dog at Sonic Drive-In in this movie now.
  6. @Ryannumber1gamer It's at 3:30pm CST, so it will be at 8:30pm GMT, at least from what I can tell.
  7. Funny thing about that is that apparently the people that were watching via the Twitch stream actually saw the trailer before the attendees did. (Source: https://youtu.be/6NL50_W_mgU?t=3m30s)
  8. Yeah, that's what I'll likely end up doing. I remember last year that one streamer apparently had good audio while another had superior video. Even if I'm just able to help out in a way like that after the fact, its fine.
  9. I was hoping I'd be able to livestream the panel from my phone this year, but that doesn't seem to be an option on the YouTube android app. Twitch has it as an option, but the app crashes on my phone whenever I try to start it. Hopefully there's an official livestream this year. If not, I'm sure other attendees will be livestreaming it.
  10. That's what I'm thinking too. If it's a Sonic-only racing game, it technically isn't a successor to SART.
  11. I love the All-Stars series because it had great gameplay on top of really cool and diverse worlds and characters. When I first started playing these games, I thought it was awesome seeing stuff from Super Monkey Ball and Billy Hatcher get included, and I was introduced to series like NiGHTS and Virtua Fighter. I still want to try out Skies of Arcadia some day should it ever get a re-release, because Vyse seems like a cool character and the Rogue's Landing stage was excellent. (Plus I just love RPGs...) And now that I've played a lot more Sega games, I was really rooting for representation from stuff like Streets of Rage and Comix Zone, or even more modern stuff like Yakuza and Valkyria Chronicles, or even Puyo Puyo. (I know the Tennis game had a Puyo Pop Fever mini-game, but I mean character representation... Someone like Arle or Amitie would be cool to see playable.) By making it Sonic only, I feel there would be a lot less variety in characters, stages, and music, and the game would just feel kind of bland compared compared to what came before. It's like if Super Smash Bros. 5 had only Mario characters, stages, and music. I'm sure this supposed Sumo-developed Sonic racing game will be fun and excellent in it's own right, but I'd always be thinking in the back of my mind "man, it sure would be cool if the Sega all-stars got in on this."
  12. I'm probably the ONLY person in the world to want a Riders track to return.
  13. At least we might have cameos... That's something, right? And besides, it's more of a SEGA Racing game then a Sonic Racing game anyway.
