  1. I'm wondering if the new Metal Sonic Phase 3 is supposed to be something that is supposed to be a part of Encore Mode, and this update isn't actually complete, resulting in it being in the normal playthrough on accident. I don't know, as cool as the new Phase 3 is, it feels weird that they would completely erase the old Phase 3 forever. I'm buying Plus physically anyway, so don't really want to update the digital copy I already have if it means completely getting rid of anything unique to the game before version 1.04. At the same time, if the save data is supposed to transfer over, I'd probably need to update the digital copy in order to do that...
  2. That logo looks kind of... Bad. Like, amature first time using Photoshop in high school bad. And what is with that background, this is Sonic not The Roadrunner, lol.
  3. It's interesting how so many people are assuming Green Hill is in when Green Hill hasn't been in a Sonic racing game since Sonic Drift. But it might be because this is the first Sonic-centric car racing game SINCE the Drift games that people are assuming as much. Regardless, I'd honestly like to see something else from Sonic 1 like Spring Yard or Star Light, if only because Sonic 1 never really gets anything else besides Green Hill represented in spin-offs and crossovers and I think that kinda sucks.
  4. I've seen this point being thrown around, but IIRC they are Sonic Team characters specifically, not general Sega characters. So like, Billy Hatcher or someone from Burning Rangers could be in as a bonus character, but nobody from Skies of Arcadia. But yeah, even if characters are there, it would still be disappointing for me personally because there would most definitely be no tracks from House of the Dead, Jet Set Radio, etc. IDK, maybe I'm just coming off as entitled. Like I said, I just don't want the All-Stars series to end, and the developer behind it working on what is essentially the same game but trimming out one of the main selling points of the previous titles makes me worried that that is exactly what's happening here.
  5. I like games other than Sonic, dude. I really wanted to see Billy Hatcher return, and representation from other series that haven't had a playable character yet like Puyo Puyo. I can get story and interaction between Sonic characters in their own games. I'm sure this game will be fun and I'm interested in seeing more info for it (here's hoping Studiopolis is a track), but I don't really want it if it means the All-Stars series ends. That's my main worry right now.
  6. Interesting. If I may ask, why do you think as much? Is it because Blaze originally appeared in a 2D game?
  7. This year, the panel is going to be on the "Discovery Stage" which is on the expo floor rather than in a seperate panel room upstairs. The projector screen is larger, and in the above center while the computers are on the side, somewhat hidden from view. It seems a bit grander than previous years, which is fitting if they are actually revealing a new game on this stage tomorrow.
  8. @Ryannumber1gamer It's at 3:30pm CST, so it will be at 8:30pm GMT, at least from what I can tell.
  9. @Tenko Is Sonic 3 even in the collection? I first read about the collection on Sega Bits, and the article didn't mention Sonic 3. http://segabits.com/blog/2018/03/13/sega-genesis-classics-coming-to-ps4-xbox-one-and-pc/ Doesn't appear in the screenshots either.
  10. Funny thing about that is that apparently the people that were watching via the Twitch stream actually saw the trailer before the attendees did. (Source: https://youtu.be/6NL50_W_mgU?t=3m30s)
  11. Yeah, that's what I'll likely end up doing. I remember last year that one streamer apparently had good audio while another had superior video. Even if I'm just able to help out in a way like that after the fact, its fine.
