It looks absolutely incredible. I got a WMR headset for free with my laptop, but I am legitimately considering upgrading to an Oculus Quest or even an Index (if it becomes available in Australia ffffff) to play this game (well, and play Boneworks).

I’m actually mad at how good this looks. Like... it’s stupid really. I’m happy VR is finally getting a real push into relevance and maybe it’ll help get the tech out there more. Not to mention bring the overall cost down.

Though, on the other hand, I know that if I want to play this game come March I’m going to have to invest a lot of fucking coin for what would really be a single game.

The entire thing gets a solid fuuuuuckenhellman from me....

@Strickerx5 It depends on how good of a VR experience you really want and how good a PC you have. If you're okay with a poor man's Vive, get a Windows Mixed Reality headset, you can probably get one used fairly cheap. In the mid-range for headsets there's the Oculus Rift S or the Oculus Rift Quest (with an additional cable to link to a PC) - if you wanna be able to play some games (like Beat Saber and Superhot) entirely without a separate computer and don't mind having a bit of extra weight, get the Quest, otherwise, the Rift S. You can also get a Vive used. The Index is for if you have a LOT of cash to splash.

The thing is if I’m going to buy a headset, I’m probably going to spring for a new one that delivers a decent experience (so an Oculus and up). I just have a strict rule of not buying used tech that’s over, like 50 bucks.

Though the thing is that’s still a good $500 for one game... eh, gonna have to hear a lot of praise coming from this to even consider it all on my end.

Eh, there's plenty of other great stuff to look at as well. Boneworks (basically this game's more physics-intense indie cousin), Superhot (SUPER. HOT.), Beat Saber (rhythm game with lightsabers), Moss (omg look at the little mouse she's so cuuuuutttteeee), Sword and Sorcery (exactly what it says on the tin), Asgard's Wrath (said to be another AAA VR adventure), Budget Cuts (Metal Gear Solid except industrial espionage, also robots are involved). And if you're down for horror games, there's also FNAF VR and Duck Season.
