Sonic and his animal pals, making dirt bikes go braaaap, obscure pop culture references that nobody under the age of 25 gets and nobody over the age of 25 remembers, animated GIFs, foods that start with the letter Q, American foosball, and tacos. In that order.

  1. Happy Vaginal Exit Day!

  2. Off-topic, but am I the only one that thinks "Xbox 720" is a dumb fucking name?
  3. I knew DAN MOTHERFUCKIN' GREEN had to have a shout-out here. Whether you like his voice work for Knuckles in Sonic X or not, you have to admit, the guy doesn't half-ass anything. I'm surprised nobody's mentioned this guy yet: Seems like Rob Paulsen has done voice-over work for every animated feature ever. Most people probably know him from doing the voices for Yakko, Dr. Otto Scratchensniff, and Pinky from Animaniacs, but he's done so much more than that. I loved his voice for Antoine on SatAM: Maybe nobody picked Paulsen because that choice is too easy, but hey, easy is right up my alley.
  4. "Peace" between the Israelis and Palestinians won't happen until one side has bombed the other into submission. I don't give a shit which side is which, but unfortunately the United States government does, and once our military gets involved, say hello to World War III. We never should've gotten involved in Middle Eastern affairs in the first place. Odds are good that playing Team America World Police for the last few decades is about to bite us right in the ass.
  5. With marijuana getting legalized in Colorado, Peyton Manning buying 21 Papa John's restaurants just went from being smart to genius.

  6. Not that I didn't see it coming the second the Republican Party gave the nod to Mitt Romney, but yep... four more years of the same ol' shit.

      Pelly <3's U

better 4 more years of a path to recovery rather than going back 8 years ago to a steep decline

  7. That's not a case of dealing with animosity, it's a case of knowing better beforehand. You could find a bingo hall filled with the sweetest old ladies imaginable, but if you walk in there and whip your tallywhacker out in the middle of the room, you're gonna have a herd of Geritol-possessed grannies on your ass faster than you can say AARP.
  8. Good call, pretty close to what I was thinking. I remember first firing this one up when my brother bought it and finally getting to see what the SNES was capable of. Obviously pales in comparison to what we have today, but back then, this was some serious shit. The whole intro is great.
  9. You would think the fact that one of the pinned threads in the Sonic Discussion forum explicitly forbids starting SA3 topics would discourage one from doing such. Apparently not.

      Jeez..dat avatar smile..

Because new members don't read pinned topics. =|

  10. Another 5 pages in a thread doomed to be nuked from existence soon. Oh, SSMB. Don't go a-changin'...

Probably watching from afar to see how long the bus will run with the brakes unhooked before it crashes in a giant cloud of smoke and death.

  11. All of the characters fit into a stereotype. Sonic is the hero, and he damn well knows it. He's cocky, but lovable. He ALWAYS saves the day, no matter what the odds. Tails is the ever-faithful sidekick. He's always there for Sonic, and though he never gets the top billing, sometimes Sonic has to count on him to save the day. Knuckles is the headstrong, macho guy. He's not afraid of anything except people seeing him in a moment of weakness. Shadow's the typical '90's anti-hero. TV Tropes nailed that one better than I could here, so look it up and you'll see what I mean. I could go on. Fact is, it's not just the female characters who are stereotypical.
  12. I really don't see what's so disturbing about cartoon characters that are made to look sexy. Hell, Warner Bros. had Bugs Bunny cross-dress in several cartoons, and I don't think too many kids watching Saturday morning cartoons lost sleep over that. The sexualization itself isn't the point. It's the comedic effect that comes from those characters' interaction with other characters. Ever notice how Knuckles reacts anytime Rouge says something seductive to him? That's what they're going for, not the "hey let's give furries some more spank bank material" angle.
  13. I hope you and Remz are cool again at this point. To be fair to him, I don't think he had any intention of starting the drama that followed, I think he was just trying to explain the new policy without trying to be too serious about it.
