  1. I don't believe he said that, from what I recall Sega wouldn't tell him why Archie couldn't use Nega, but Ian assumes it's because they either have plans for him and/or they want to clear up a few things about him. Now for some previews:
  2. Here are both the new covers: Solicits should be coming out within the next few days. Even without them, things are looking awesome. Looks like the BattleBird Armada will finally be making their debut in the comic. =D
  3. You can read the preview in the link below, but be warned that the spoilers indside the issue pretty much give away the end results of the current arc: http://www.freecomicbookday.com/comic_sonic.asp SONIC THE HEDGEHOG FCBD 2010 EDITION Creative Team: (W) Ian Flynn (A) James Fry, Jim Amash Publisher: ARCHIE COMICS "Hide & Seek & DESTROY!": Dr. Eggman has vanished - or has he? 5. Yeah, the Assistant Editor confirmed that it was based off of SSS #1's cover over on Bumbleking: For comparison: Also, more new covers: Credit goes to Aquaslash for finding these covers on the Archie subscription page. Not surprised to see Fiona back with the Destructix. That's actually a decent choice for her while she waits for Scourge.
  6. Yardley's! covers have been far superior to Spaz's covers, especially as of late. Spaz apparently had a knee injury that got in the way of his work this past year (according to Tracy Yardley), but even before the recent onslaught of extremely poor covers, his work has been in a decline. Anyway, new preview:
  7. Matt Herms (Colorist and Penciller for the comic) found this over on Archie's twitter:
  8. Ian dropped some tentative teasers concerning both the comics for 2010:
  9. If you look at the preliminary cover (the is solicit posted there too), it's apparent that Regina has now taken control of Nicole. Judging from the dome ceiling and castle on the new cover, and the fact that #208-209 is supposed to be the Iron Dominion's second infiltration of New Mobotropolis, it's probably safe to say that's where they are.
  10. Here's the cover again: And here's the #210 solicit:
  11. Yep, that's St. John. I guess the Secret Service will be helping the FFs fight against the ID forces. Also, Tracy had a new update on the cover:
  12. Tracy Yardley had this to say about the main book's cover: Also Ian said this about the SU arc:
