  1. Sorry I haven't been that active guys, its been a tough week hell its been a tough few months. the 27th and 28th were the anniversary days of the accident so I've been having a rough few days but I'm okay, still feels weird I could've died 3 months ago.

Still a mental climb back to normal but I'm getting there slowly. I still feel like allot of the things I used to do regularly are lapsing or I'm just not motivated like I used to like coming here and Retro, playing video games, checking and keeping up on gaming news etc. etc.

Between fighting off the shit going on in my own head and making sure everyone from the accident is doing okay and having somewhat of a social life now, I feel like I shelved allot of things now and I feel bad cause those aspects were a big part of me before this.

I feel like something broke and it's taking a while to repair itself. but I guess that's normal right?

It may take a while, but you'll get there. But by bit. Just keep hanging on, you're doing great!

You don't have anything to apologize for, man. It's good you're getting out and taking your mind off of things that way. I'm sure you'll reach a sense of normalcy where you'll want to go back to your hobbies as things get easier.

@Zaysho - I hope so dude, cause I see allot of positives being done but I don't want to lose any other aspects of myself at the same time, I'm scared that the accident is warping parts of me I don't want warped. I'm seeing it in other people and it concerns me.

Glad to hear you've been able to keep yourself busy with stuff.

It’s okay as you don’t have anything to apologize for. If anything I should be apologizing to you as I’ve meant to check on you but never got around to it. Me pulling a 180 with my own activity on SSMB as well as my irl drama is definitely a factor in it all but it’s not a good excuse to check on a friend that’s been through so much. I’m sorry.

It is completely and unfortunately normal to be “emotionally triggered” by things such as dates marking anniversaries of even bad things.

You have to remember you went through something that’s both extremely tragic and traumatic. It’s definitely going to take some time to get a sense of normalcy and it’s nothing you can rush or force. As for the aspect thing I’m going to keep it real with you that things like this tend to be life-changing for better or for worse. Only time will tell if these warps you’re referring to are temporary or not. Hopefully it’s nothing positive that ends up getting lost here.

In the meantime focus on taking care of yourself mentally, physically and emotionally. That’s really good and commendable that you’re busy checking up on your friends. Please keep that up as helping others when you are going through things is one of the best things you can do as not only are you doing good for others you’re taking your mind off your own problems even if it is temporarily.

In due time the sense of normalcy will return as well as engaging in your interests like you did previously. Just continue to take it one day at a time and don’t let any setbacks discourage you and hold you back. Also remember you have me and others here that are here for you and are rooting for you to get through this.

@Kiah - Thank you soo much for the kind words and advice, I'm soo glad you're still around to help people and even now still helping me.

Feels like a millennia ago when I went to you weekly for advice when I was younger and now you're still helping me, You've always been a guiding shoulder in my life and I'm glad to have you now still giving me advice more then ever.

you have no idea how it really helps hearing from you. thank you for everything!

@Sean - I'm trying man, its been helping. but I know I should feel like I should be tackling some of the problems I'm facing like the nightmares that come in and out. everything now is starting to settle so I feel like maybe now that's the time to.

I wanted to say something positive and encouraging but at this point it would just be a weak echo at best of what @Kiah said. Still, while I can't word anything as eloquently as what she did I feel the same.

For now though I'll just continue to wish you well and offer my ear along with the rest of the collective SSMB ear if you need to talk. And of course, if you just want to take a few minutes to distract yourself to recharge we're always glad to share our time with you.

@Sonic Fan J - Thank you for your kind words as well, I'm glad to know I can fall back on SSMB whenever I need it.
