Thanks! I've done some more Mega Man art like this some months ago if you're interested in having a look:

Impressive stuff. You've really nailed the Mega Man artstyle.

I never thought I'd live to see the day where I'd be more hyped over a Mii Fighter costume than an actual full-fledged fighter.
...also goddamn, I really need to pick up the slack with my game. Toby Fox moving up in the world in the span of 4-5 years, and I've got a barely-started build that's taken almost twice as long to make.

I lowkey fear copyright law's going to (if it basically hasn't already) get to a point where the only sure way to avoid takedowns or strikes or C&Ds or the like is to never create anything, ever.
-
Hey, that’s my fear. You’ll be hearing from my lawyer soon.

"We've decided to cut out several Pokémon for, among other reasons, balancing concerns. In unrelated news, here's an ubermove that does a shitton of damage and also sets up Stealth Rock."

So my Inspiron 5720 laptop of seven-ish years started bluescreening like mad (as in, seven in the span of two hours to the point where Windows didn't think itself a genuine copy) a few days ago, and the main cause seems to be because the hard drive's on the way out (106 bad sectors). The left mouse button is also a bit loose and the up/down arrow keys no longer work, so I wondered if I was better off getting a new laptop. I bought one for £1000, and this one is more gamer-friendly, with a proper graphics card (no Integrated HD Graphics 4000), Windows 10 instead of Windows 7, and a 1TB HDD + 128GB SSD.
But part of me wonders if I've made the right choice in doing so. Would I have been better off replacing the hard drive in this one and sticking with it longer? Particularly since it being lower-end makes it good to test my game projects on to make sure they don't lag or anything like that.
-
I personally think you made the right choice, I believe your old computer was done for. I think your new laptop is better for testing your games.

Yeah, your old laptop had shown it's age. It was better that you got a new laptop, seeing as your old one was actually dying.

For what it's worth, some time last year I'd also get random bluescreens (far less frequently, though - like, one a day) because of this hard drive, and so I bought a new one to replace it if it kept acting up. It behaved itself for months afterwards, and I needed dad to put Windows 7 onto a disc so I could reinstall it if I did replace it (because it was pre-installed and I had to get the ISO via a code in the battery compartment; he never did and in fact laughed at me that I didn't know how to burn CDs), so I ended up not replacing it and dad gave the new hard drive to my sister.
Kinda thinking I should've replaced it sooner, huh.
EDIT: Oh also the new one lacks a disc drive, so if I wanna watch DVDs on it, I'm gonna have to spend more for an external disk drive.
-
I'd say you've made the right choice. Though I'm not exactly the most tech-savvy guy, it certainly sounds like your old laptop was starting to show its age, and not just on the inside.
As for the lack of disc drive, while it does seem a little annoying, I think it should be fine to spend a bit more for an external drive. Looking at the average prices, even the high-end ones don't appear to be all too expensive.

The Nintendo E3 Direct starts in one hour! It's an open playlist until then, though!

For those who are around to see it, the Pokémon Direct will be starting in around six minutes!
