I think that One Piece has a weird pacing, specially if you read it weekly. Some things take a long time to happen and sometimes I feel that the manga is just dragging on. But when I read the collected volumes this feeling kind of goes away.

I feel like Oda wants to write a continuous story and doesn't mind where the chapter will end/begin. That way, it's much more enjoyable in a tankobon format.

So Xbox marketing is quoting fans on Twitter to show how excited everyone is for the new console to build up hype. https://twitter.com/Xbox/status/336928914377175040/photo/1

Apparently they don't teach sarcasm at marketing school.

Eh.. the negativity on the forum had a stigma that caused divides within the community. Many users were getting upset with each other and many warnings were issued out by administrators/mods. The forum even has a sticky about being hostile against each other. The negativity seen on other parts of the forum only splits apart the SSMB family.

This thread on the other hand while negative, is on the opposite spectrum. Everyone is laughing and joining in on the fun. No one is getting hurt (excuse the one or two people taking it too far). The negativity is actually bringing the forum together. I haven't seen the forum get along this well in forever. It's a nice change from the constant jabs, insults, snarky comments, and friendships torn apart.

They also had the Sony conf on February to take notes from. The same Sony conf they took jabs at for not showing the system.

But you know what Sony showed? Games.

    Being played.

Ok so gamespot have been running this tweet thing, you tweet if you're going to back Sony or Microsoft... the blue areas represent Sony, the green microsoft, the white is 'undecided/neutral/no votes.' This has been live since the moment the conference ended last night.

Here is what it currently looks like.

And spoilering this because it's a huge image... if you 'google' Xbox One, you get pictures of that machines... However, if you use 'Bing' to look for Xbox One... you get... something else.

Even Nintendo got this right, Microsoft. Let me repeat that in bold so it sinks in for a minute. Your online methods are more archaic than Nintendo. Fucking Nintendo.

Supaidaman reacted to Linkabel in General Nintendo sales/business discussion topic (previously: The Wii U Thread)
I think the Game & Wario marketing is brilliant, but, somehow I think it's aimed more for Wii U owners more and if they don't spread out for the public then it will really go to waste.

About the magazine ads a couple of pages back. I think it's hard to do a magazine ad, for the most part a product can be simple to get to  the point, For example, Old Spice is supposed to make you smell better and make you popular with the ladies.

Thinking about it, for the Wii U, you not only have to explain what the system is about and its features, but you also need to point out that's it's a whole different thing and not an add-on for the Wii

I honestly would've done something like this. This is a shitty mockup I made in 10 minutes. It obviously needs more work and refine it (for example I would try to add in the actual console and better spacing, but hey you ain't paying me) and other stuff. But honestly I would really drop the whole family bond thing from the old Wii marketing days and just come up with a completely different approach:

I also made a different version for the "hardcore" gamers you guys keep talking about:

    Deets:
Ishiwateri is directing Characters so far are Sol, Ky, Millia and Eddie Game has a unique 2.5d look- 3D graphics animated like 2D sprites Dusts (the GG launchers) appear to have a cinematic angle applied to them Supers probably have similar zooms to Sf4- but it's hard to tell due to the way the trailer is cut Appears to have a few BnBs and chain combos (gatlings i guess again? hahahaha) from GGXX- including the dust loop. Look at this shit-
