  1. Not that it was canon in the first place, but this game tears Assault on Arkham out of the timeline, due to King Shark’s drastically different appearance and survival. I’m not sure how to feel about this tbh. Evil superman is getting really old. So far I’m not a fan of the premise, but maybe watching gameplay will sway my opinion. I really don’t think this needed to be a part of the Arkhamverse, though. Despite overall hating Arkham Knight’s story, it seemed to be Rocksteady’s final word on the series. I guess I’ll have to wait and see for more info.
  2. Looks fucking dope, yo. I’m honestly glad that we’re moving away from the Arkhamverse. Not sure how the suicide squad game is going to fit well in it, but I’m ready for a fresh take. I’ve been waiting forever to play as the bat family. Still a bit salty that we don’t get Cassandra Cain as batgirl but it looks like a fun time. Sign me up.
  3.  Rooftop Run  challenges in Generations  suuuuuuuuuuck thanks bye :P

I'm having trouble remembering the missions at all tbh. All the missions in that game were were annoying. It was either replay the regular level, or play through it again with additionally obnoxious objects everywhere. I do remember Vector's mission for Modern Sonic in Rooftop Run though, and what a nightmare playing that was.

Dude FUCK vector’s music note challenge. So obnoxious.

I like some of the challenges in Gens, but they started to get really annoying during the Dreamcast era levels.

They're generally just filler. Generations' level design isn't very organic; it's mostly just scripted set pieces chained together. It works well enough for what it is, but when those levels are "remixed" by chucking a bunch of random objects and blocky platforms all over the place, the stiffness of the controls coupled with the now uninteresting level design really bogs everything down. They're just there to pad out the game's length, because we all know how short it is just going from level to level.

Pretty much. I’ve always enjoyed Generations’ level design for the most part, but it definitely isn’t a perfect game, and I honestly wouldn’t mind it getting an enhanced port/ remaster. I’d rather SA1 get remade, but the selfish person that I am wants more levels in Gens haha.

If SEGA weren't interested in creating any DLC for Generations, you can be pretty sure that they wouldn't include any new levels in re-release. It's just not the treatment that they give Sonic games.

  4. College classes are so stressful :(

  5. I loved The Iron Giant :) Great movie.

Years ago i had no idea Vin Diesel was in that movie.

It’s weird how crazy good he does in roles with limited lines. The Giant is easily one of my favorite animated characters ever. It’s weird how a hulking metal behemoth is one of the most adorable creatures in a movie I’ve ever seen.

Also I’m convinced Christopher Macdonald will never not be a massive dick in every movie I’ve seen him in.

@Chaos Incarnate I'm not really sure who Chris Macdonald is. lol I'm guessing you mean the government agent dude with red/orange hair?

    4. Chaos Incarnate

      Chaos Incarnate

Yes. He’s the villain in happy Gilmore and a few other movies I can’t remember haha. Great actor though.

@Chaos Incarnate I know who you're talking about now. lol I remember him from the movie flubber, he also was a bad guy there too.

Oh god I can't believe I forgot about him in Flubber.

  6. I’m watching the iron giant for what feels like the first time, as I haven’t seen it since I was a very young kid. I’m excited, wish me luck!

  7. Should I feel bad about posting a negative review on indeed when it’s the first review for the company?

      Nah. People grow from criticism.

If they can't take it and learn from it then they're not a good company.

True. I mean I was terminated over something that wasn’t true so I feel like it’s fair. I’m just worried it’ll come back to bite me somehow.

Why should you? It’s your opinion in the end and you are under no obligation to make it positive if it isn’t what you really think of it.

Thanks @Kiah and @Crow the BOOLET. Appreciate the advice.

  9. Have the IDW Sonic comics been good so far? I was looking to catch up and buy the first 2 issues but my comic store was sold out of them.

First issue was alright, second issue was pretty good. It's been smooth sailing so far, nothing mindblowing but a nice breath of fresh air imo.

It isn't an Archie continuty followup, right? I always wanted to get into it, but I feel like it was too much of an established universe to me that I felt I couldn't follow it.

    3. Celestia

      Celestia

Nope, it is it's own universe (based heavily on the games, mind you).

Awesome! Definitely wanna read it now.

  10. Right? What the fuck was happening in its final days? On one hand you have some drunk lunatic threatening to dox Mike Michaud and threaten to kill a user for being "too sjw", and on the other hand you have this sociopathic piece of human fecal matter spamming pictures of gore and porn. Just really fucked up. I guess all the moderators jumped ship LOL. There was an imposter Mike Michaud troll that I found to be amusing, though. Wish I screenshotted those posts.
  11. It's sad to see how far this site has fallen, and how much a piece of filth Mike Michaud is. Everyone that drew me to that site (Phelous, Linkara, and Spoony) are no longer affiliated, and I stopped watching Nostalgia Critic on a regular basis years ago. The over-long skits are very cringy and unfunny, and they turned me off from his content altogether. It amazes me how naive Doug was in how his coworkers were mistreated. Michaud needs to go, plain and simple.
  12. As fan fiction-y Star Wars Rebels feels, it is amazing they finally got Ian Mcdiarmid to come back as THE SENATE! He still sounds perfect as Palpatine.

I haven't got a lot of good words to say about the show, but I can't fault it for that.  Makes me wish they got him back for TCW.

  13. Amanda seyfried has such a lovely singing voice. Wish she was in more songs.
