      Depends on the situation. The one case I say most often times yes is localisation. Especially for early games. Bad localisation can be the root cause of awful writing.

      it's as open to being changed as anything else, i guess. if it cleans things up and works better while preserving the intent and positive aspects of the original, go for it.

      If its fine as is then ok. If it enhances the experience then go for it.

      Just please don't make lame changes like Twin Snakes did.

      Seriously they ruined the weak point line by changing it to weakness for some reason.
