    OH, that aged terribly.

  2. I actually haven't heard about what he thinks regarding that. I could probably guess, but humor me still.

Man, seeing how far Ahsoka Tano's come really reminds me just how much Star Wars dropped the ball when it came to Rey.

  4. Man, what I wouldn't give to have life so financially secure that I could waste nearly a decade on a comic without a single release and not live in a cardboard box.
  5. It's that time of year again, for Thanksgiving!

      Happy Thanksgiving!

You know what? I'll ship it. That coupling is cute enough.

Gotta love/hate when that happens. The outcome may surprise you.

  8. Unfortunately not. They'll likely keep trying. However, there is some good news. As of yesterday, the Trump Administration has FINALLY begun granting Biden transition opportunities so he can finally get the ball rolling. It's the closest thing to a concession speech that we've gotten from Trump so far!
  9. Well, in other good news Thundercats Roar got cancelled.

What do you mean? That show's been getting Cancel Culture up its ass for a year already

This is how it ends. Not with a bang, but with a whimper.

And barely anyone acknowledging its existence in the long run.

One of the best things I’ve heard this month. Should be making better cartoons than that.

  10. Well said @Dark Qiviut. Anyway, in recent news, the Teump campaign certainly "Released the Kraken", biblically when they fired Sidney Powell from the legal team.

Heh. Good for Jim Carrey and the Sonic movie.

  12. I personally prefer the updated the version: In addition, a Republican judge in Pennsylvania tore apart Trump and Giuliani's case for voter fraud and sent it packing.
  13. So, what's the overall consensus of Rick and Morty?

I remember that show getting a lot of praise, but ever since Season 3, its reputation seems to have tanked a bit.

    Did Season 4 fix things?

    1. Ryannumber1gamer

The show is great, Season 3 was pretty weak (with some gems still there like the Rickshaw Redemption, Rick and Ricklaxation, and Tales from the Citadel), and Season 4 generally speaking was a much better step up, although with one or two weaker episodes.

So, as someone who's never seen the show before, should I even bother with Season 3?

    3. Ryannumber1gamer

You should watch Season 3 for the good stuff, and to get an idea of the overall picture, and several of the episodes are critical in regards to plot points to Season 4.

Just be aware that there's a very awful attempt at a story arc in the season, and some episodes will be far weaker compared to Season 1 and 2's.

Ugh. That is one thing I tend to dread when getting into a series. Knowing blatantly well when there's going to be a more troubled section.

Still, I reckon overall, it's a show you'd recommend and it does come out on top in the end?

    5. Ryannumber1gamer

Yes. It's worth watching. Even Season 3 probably isn't that bad if you watch it all at once, unlike me who was watching it weekly, and therefore had a string of bad episodes.

Even R&M's worst episodes don't compare to shit like Steven Universe's barrage of filler in Steven Bombs and the like.

Oh, I should know. I has to suffer those hiatuses in real time. Good grief.

  14. One has to wonder if he's getting a general flow of income somewhere, given how he seems to have thrown a lot of bank into this comic....a comic which has been in the works for nearly a decade now, with not even one single comic to show for.
  15. You know what's a sad way to know that the Capcom leaks are true? A typical enhanced re-release of Street Fighter 6, literally set to come out a year after the original.

    1. Thigolf

I think there being multiple versions instead of a vanilla one and a "done" one is even worse

      Who else but Capcom?

    3. Wraith

It is probably a DLC bundle like SFV

  16. The hits keep coming and they don't stop coming for this Avengers game. And rightfully so.

  17. So apparently, in addition to coming to Switch and PS4, these will also be coming to Steam as well.
  18. It's time for Edgeworth Investigations 2 to get a localisation Capcom, come on. Funnily enough, the last we heard about that was Janet Hsu, head of localization herself, telling people to play the fan localization. That...may be the one outlier in all this.
  19. Holy crap. Now Ace Attorney 7 and the second Ace Attorney trilogy re-release.

AFTER years of being left out in the cold by Capcom....it's so uplifting.

    1. Ellipsis-Ultima

      >Ace Attorney 7

Now THATS the news I wanted to hear tbh...

  20. This just in. Apparently, Ace Attorney 7 is also on the way, and the second trilogy is also getting a re-release.

Arthur Conan Doyle’s estate sues Netflix for giving Sherlock Holmes too many feelings

    Respecting women: covered by copyright?

    By Adi Robertson@thedextriarchy Jun 25, 2020, 12:32pm EDT

Yes, that actually did happen, and yes, copyright regarding Sherlock Holmes can be a bitch and a half.

    1. Zaysho

Huh. I had thought Sherlock Holmes, the character, was considered public domain at this point.

    2. Jovahexeon Jax Joranvexeon

      Jovahexeon Jax Joranvexeon

Unfortunately not entirely. Most of him is consider public domain, but the SIr Arthur Doyle estate abuses copyright pertaining to the latter half of the series where Holmes underwent character development and whatnot.

If someone wants to so much as portray Sherlock Holmes in any way that resembles his later character development, they'll leap on them with lawsuits.......unless they rename the character.

    3. Zaysho

That's really odd. I figured they could control later stories written about him and retain ownership of those but not really have any say with the character. Kind of like why Disney is constantly lobbying to extend copyright so they can keep control of Mickey.

Then again copyright always sounds like a huge headache every time I try to read about it.

    4. Emperor Robrainiac

      Emperor Robrainiac

I remember telling my mom about this incident recently.

Sometimes I hate copyright laws. I understand why it's in place, but there's always so many loopholes people abuse.

  22. So, "Herlock Sholmes" is actually trending now. I can only imagine the fallout if this turns out to be for nothing.
  23. So, considering how this wouldn't be the first time that the name "Herlock Sholmes" was used to dodge copyright involving the brand, this might actually be happening.
