  1. Heh, I even got one while in 3rd place. Bit of a game changer.
  2. Well, Super Engines do give you the highest of speeds when they're juiced.
  3. Personally, I don't think it's a good idea either, but it is something a lot of fans have been requesting. What would be smart would be an items customization mode, more like what Mario Kart 8 Deluxe provides.
  4. I remember when peeps thought that Gamescom was actually gonna be THE event to replace E3 when it came to games announcements. Well, certainly not this year. Kek.

I think a lot of that push was because Sony was using it as their preeminent media event for a few years.

Then they abandoned that too, more or less.

Eh, honestly, the announcements at Gamescom's conference, Death Stranding aside, while good at some points weren't exactly on par with the best of E3. Don't know if even a full showing from Sony would've done the trick either.

  5. What's that? You wanted an item customization option for online? Well, instead of that or a No-Items mode, they instead added the super engine to online races.
  6. Oh boy Disney. Pissing off Stan Lee's daughter, making more of a mess out of Star Wars,  screwing up their Spidey deal with greed, and now potentially being responsible of cooking the books to make some of their films like Captain Marvel or Aladdin appear to make more money than they actually did.

It could the makings of big trouble for them. Especially if that last bit turns out to be true and on the inside they're hurting financially.

How are they making "more" of a mess of Star Wars?

    2. AdventChild

      AdventChild

@Marcello Well, basically the flop that is Galaxy's Edge and how it's basically a ghost town at their California park. Not to mention how their is only ONE Star Wars themed ride open and the other closed til end of this year. Also, it's pretty stupid expensive, I mean, $200 for a plastic light saber? C'mon! Speaking of which, recently their SW themed hotel will cost $1000 per night:

I really hate to be devils advocate and I'm probably not going be able to defend my opinion very well, but speaking as someone who visited on a cast preview of Galaxy's edge, I didn't think it was that bad... I loved it actually.

Hell, I don't know where people are getting "Plastic Lightsabers" from. I bought one and I love it. Overpriced? Sure, but it definitely isn't plastic like the cheap toy ones you can get anywhere else in the park. Judge me all you want, but I got it.

I'm sorry if I'm coming across as annoyed over something so petty, but most of the videos I've seen on Galaxys Edge's almost seems as if they're celebrating it's failiure. I get and understand how Last Jedi burnt people out of Star Wars, but I never understood how people can root for something to fail.

Though if its any consolation and to show I'm not a complete apologist, I can't defend Disney delaying the opening of "Rise of the Resistance" nor the Hotel being 1000 dollars per night though. Also, it wouldn't surprise me if Disney is paying off their own movies. That would explain the success of the Lion King and other live action remakes despite almost everybody being against them.

Disney of all companies is not and probably never will be hurting for money. They could buy up fifteen small countries and still have more money than any of us could fathom.

First the decedent of Disney himself lashed out at them, now Stan Lee's (direct) descendant too. Theses protesters are growing every day as Disney itself grows.

  7. Spider-Man 94 series. Was supposed to go on, but got killed thanks to Avi Arad.

Spider-Man Raimi series. 4th movie killed thanks to Avi Arad and Sony's meddling.

Spectacular Spider-Man series. Killed before a proper conclusion to the cliffhanger that is Season 2.

Amazing Spider-Man duology. Bleh series that got meddles with and Sony have even had a falling out with its main lead.

    Even MCU Spidey has fallen.

So....how are they gonna ruin Spider-Verse?

    1. Ryannumber1gamer

      Ryannumber1gamer

Either micromanage it to hell, killing what made it so unique in the first place, as they did with Spidey 3, or milk it dry via spin offs.

    2. Emperor Robrainiac

      Emperor Robrainiac

Yeah, knowing Sony's track record I'm pretty nervous to see how Spider-Verse will turn out.

The news about spin-offs ad sequels was exciting at first, but the more I think back on Sony's history, the more cautious I get about them.

    3. Speederino

      Speederino

Tbf, Spectacular wasn’t Sony’s fault. That was more on Disney for swooping in and buying Marvel out of the blue.

  8. https://nypost.com/2019/04/08/hedgie-to-pitch-sony-on-selling-off-entertainment-division/

Well, if this ever comes to fruition, I wonder who'll be at the fore front to buy them.

    1. Speederino

      Speederino

It looks like Amazon wants them but come on we all know exactly how this would end.

    2. The Tenth Doctor

      The Tenth Doctor

Sony: Who wants our movie stuff?

      Disney: Me! Me!

Sony: Sure, you can have The Emoji Movie.

  9. Gotta say, back in July, this was a real big help as it helped me finally beat that last N Tropy time and unlock him. Nowadays, at the beginning of Auguat this year, I finished all the Oxide Times, so for quite a while, I've joined the Digital N. Tropy club which is quite the sign of skill. Most of those Oxide Time Trials are absolutely high octane challenging and no small feat. Your video also helped me respect how different characters have differing sizes of hit boxes which helped immensely. I've gotten that 101% file and all the rewards that come with it too.
  10. Maybe Far From Home was just all one big illusion.....is what the retcons will probably be.

  11. 30+ updates. I see the news of Spider-Man got out.

    1. Thigolf

      Thigolf

Yes, because the MCU did so badly without Spiderman

    2. Balding Spider

      Balding Spider

@Jovahexeon Ogilvie Maurice I mean there was already a roadmap without Spider-man in it. *sigh* Well at least the games are safe.

    3. Ferno

      Ferno

they HAD to have that cliffhanger at the end of far from home

    4. Balding Spider

      Balding Spider

How is this story going to work if Peter can't hero worship the MCU's greatest villain?

    5. Jango

      Jango

Fuck, I was reading about this right now. Sigh... This is exactly what I didn't wanted. They gonna put him in Venom 2, aren't they? Ugh.

    6. Zaysho

      Zaysho

I don't really follow or care about MCU, but it's just really funny to me that Disney can't even control their own IP.

    7. Balding Spider

      Balding Spider

You know this sort of helps destroy the illusion of them having all this planned out, especially given where FFH left off. I mean why have it end like that if the deal could fall-though so easily?

    8. Ferno

      Ferno

      Spoiler

kinda sad that we wont get an MCU spidey on the interesting take exploring a world where everyone knows who Spider-Man is.

Instead its probably gonna be a thing where its implied/ mentioned once or twice by other MCU Avengers that Spider-Man was more or less "defeated" when his identity was revealed and that he retired from hero work altogether or something like that

"Led by Tom Rothman and Tony Vinciquerra, Sony just simply didn’t want to share its biggest franchise. Sony proposed keeping the arrangement going under the current terms where Marvel receives in the range of 5% of first dollar gross, sources said. Disney refused."

lmao OF COURSE Tom Rothman was instrumental in derailing the MCU/Spider-Man deal that was being negotiated. His track record with Marvel properties when he was at Fox (X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Fant4stic 2015, and having zero faith in Deadpool) speaks for itself.

    10. Wraith

      Wraith

That's what Disney gets for getting greedy. They can get fucked

  12. I've officially begun a playthrough of Batman the Telltale Series. Want to see what all the buzz is about.
