Today's featured fighter on the blog was Link. Glad to see I called it, not only about him not being merely a ported up fighter Link, but all three Links being different, despite haruby folk thinking they'd just be clones of one another.
  2. But that's not even what I'm in complete belief of. Like, it's obvious and already confirmed that not all worlds will have original stories, so optimistic as I am, I don't believe something that so blatantly contradicts the facts at present.
  3. That's fine and fair for you on your speculation. I personally, from experience look further than just trailers, especially given they can often be given with plenty out of context, or sometimes even have scenes that don't end up showing. Ayup. So when we have something concrete on Monsters, then we can talk about putting speculation to rest on it.
  4. Yeah, that's pretty much my point about the scene in general. There's nothing to suggest there won't be story bits that continue into the aftermath of the original movie and beyond. Never claimed they wouldn't have scenes from the original either. Because it's common ploy of companies to hype fanbases up with partial information, but never the full package. There's no concrete reason for Square to be equally informative with all the worlds. Which I've been before plenty of times with this series, but I don't get that being a point of contention here. I mean, we're really don't need to make a big deal out of speculations. Well, bits of it anyway from the trailer we saw. Nothing set in stone yet.
  5. Or... maybe not? I mean, maybe they don't spoil all details. Now, show me a quote from them specifically stating when it will take place, and then we're going somewhere here. I mean, we can't state that as fact with certainty without actually seeing all the worlds we haven't gotten confirmation in a good enough context. Wouldn't c surprise me if they're trying to fake you out in some way, shape or form. Not quite actually. Nomura stated there'd be a different flow as opposed to having to revisit worlds twice specfically speaking, but didn't directly shoot down possibility of revisits in general. If it meant outright now revisits, he'd likely have specified it more clearly but just as easily stating they're revertiing rp KH1's system, but he didn't. Still too early to tell.

You're free to opinionate there, despite being debated heavily. But your original claims of certain fans not blowing up at stuff in one fanbase compared to another is moot and debunked at this point. Factually speaking, both of them have done whacked out stuff which doesn't make one "chill", especially when one has fans threatening the game director over a delay of all things. No Man's Sky had quite a lot of press and buildup to it still though. One that crashed into scandal territory. Obviously, considering how bad it turned out, it's no surprise it doesn't have as big a fanbase, but still gets negative attention. Besides, I never said stuff with smaller fanbases wouldn't coverage. Just that their coverage would be more present and garner more attention if more popular (and I guess despised in No Man's Sky's case).

Much as quite a few Waluigi fans may be taking it too far, it's not really quite accurate or fair to assume that that's the only reason people want him in Smash.

We'll have to agree to disagree on considering Jim really that neutral. And again, not really seeing what the one youtuber who's vidoes you've presented prove? And yet, just 10 days ago, there was a PSA regarding Kingdom Hearts fans sending death threats to Nomura over the delayed release date. As I stated before, it's liable that bigger fanbases just get more coverage on the fucked up stuff. Kingdom Hearts isn't above the over fanbases in overall quality if that's what you're pushing at. Any level of death threats are intolerable. Regardless of whether or not one's more popular and in the public eye than the other. Though, if this is turning into more a talk about KH, you might want to take this debate to that thread if this is getting too off topic.

Ehhh, he started that game off by cowering from Dark Gaia's spawn.

I don't see what presenting videos form the one same youtuber really proves on that front. I could just as easily draw up a youtube video that comments on huge problems with the Kingdom Hearts fanbase. No fanbase is really above any one other on this stance. See? Technically more so the rabid section of the Waluigi, which some people have actually acknowledged as not being Smash fans in some cases. Again, maybe because the fanbase is bigger, they get more attention, but I don't see what you're trying to prove in suggesting that one fanbase is supposedly not as toxic as another. Every fanbase has their rotten spots. Hence why it's better to actually root out the bad eggs instead of generalizing an entire fanbase as terrible in phrases.

Precisely. Heck, some of the people demanding for the meme that is Waluigi aren't even really Smash fans, but more so meme fans and Waluigi fans (the insane ones).

Actually there are sone fans that insane even in the KH fanbase. The focus just isn't on them ay the moment. Every fanbase has its nuts. Smash is just getting more attention at the moment since it's newer announced, generated more traffic than Kingdom Hearts, potentially has the bigger notable fanbase, actually coming out this year, etc. Well specifically those fans, and by no means the majority or the collective. Every fanbase has its share of scum. What depends is the fanbase that's larger and gets more attention. Honestly, I find that brand of generalizing silly. That's like if we called Kingdom Hearts fans crazy for all the shenanigans and occasionally terrible things they've done.... even though clearly it's not even the entire fanbase.
  13. That's easily explainable. By the end of Monsters Inc, as far as we know, it's just the factory workers who are well aware of children not being toxic. There's nothing to suggest news didn't really travel quick, or heck, for all we know, "new recruits" which I'll assume that's the guise Sora and company go with, likely might still be terrified of the kids before getting briefed and whatnot. Furthermore, that's the original trailer. Who's to say the scene we saw during the POTC isn't during another world visit phase?
  14. It's odd, but I'd think that with Monsters it might be taking place after the film in what we saw in the PoTC trailer.

The official site and its blog have recently got updated with quite some interesting new seeds of info. https://www.smashbros.com/en_US/blog/index.html First off, there's the look at a "Black Hole" item. The pic that;s really gotten people's interest is Fox in what could look to be the new "Final Destination". And in other news, Tomoya Ohanti is composing a new Splatoon remix.
