  1. Very sad news, one of my voice overs from the games and tv shows. Gone but not forgotten by the fans of the show
  2. I finished the game this afternoon and will probably pick it up when I come back from my holidays next week. So as a lot of people have been saying I think the story and graphics are fantastic, I really enjoyed the connection being established between Sonic and Tails again and it's gd to see as well. I think the only gripe I have with the game is sometimes I feel like it is interfering, like you want to jump and you run up a wall. Some of the levels are frustrating and can easily annoy people. I was thinking at Summer of Sonic that this game would divide opinion between both fans and critics as to the gameplay but fair play to SEGA and Sonic Team for being brave and taking a risk. I would advise Keep It Simple with both moves and gameplay and build on this for the future, but would recommend it to friends to give it a go.
  3. From having played for an hour or so I thought I would add my two cents, having seen the review scores and also playing the game at Summer of Sonic and seeing peoples reactions being very mixed I am not generally surprised. This game is going to divide opinion, people are going to love it or hate it. Personally I like it so far, the levels are colourful and wide and once you get to grips to the controls it pretty easy to get around, I don't like parkour system, but that's me. Not a bad game but I think a lot of people had high expectations and been left disappointed, but it could be worse, it could be like Sonic 06 again!! (Shutters)
  4. I would be interested to see why they chose a female voice actor to play Tails, the only thing I can think of they would have to get a young male voice actor to play him but would have to keep replacing them as they grow older. I think I would be inclined to give a male voice to him
  5. Good to here, I wasn't a huge fan but enjoyed the odd episode now and again
  6. Yep, I noticed that myself but they dint want to disappoint people who have played the game enough to get Blaze
  7. Great to see another animated show, will be interesting to see who picks it up outside of the US, especially in the UK. Would CN take it over here as well or would they go for CBBC,CITV,Nick,Disney XD etc we shall wait and see in the next 12-18 months
  8. Happy Anniversary SatAM, pity we didn't get anything after The Doomsday Project, never knew it was the Power Rangers that was the reason it was cancelled but I can't say anything as I liked the first lot of Power Rangers
  9. Has anyone got issues with the App since changing to iOS 7, can't get it to work on my ipad or iphone
  10. My favourite of the all the Sonic cartoons, I think a lot of you guys have summed up why people loved this show, the crazy stories and plotlines, the characters, the closest we have been to Sonic's world and the voice acting from Jaleel and Long John was simply brilliant. Happy Birthday AoSTH, we won't forget you.

  12. I have many favourites from different decades, growing up I always liked Rugrats, Hey Arnold, Dexters Lab, Cow and Chicken, Ed,Edd and Eddy, Johnny Bravo, I am Weasel and Courage. My personal favourites are: - Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog due to the general slapstick comedy, staying close to the first 2 video games and the voice acting was really gd. Timon and Pumbaa as I really enjoyed The Lion King so a spinoff of these two guys was always going to be loved by me and both Nathan Lane and Ernie Sabella kept providing their voices for Timon and Pumbaa which was brilliant Danger Mouse as it was just simply funny either as a kid, teenager or adult Honourable mentions include - Talespin, Darkwing Duck, Thundercats, Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, M.A.S.K, Transformers, Anamaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, TazMania, Freakazoid, Family Guy, American Dad, Futurama, The Simpsons, Recess, Kim Possible, The Racoons, Count Duckula, Tiny Toons, South Park, Scooby Doo, The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Wacky Races, Dasterly and Muttley, Tom and Jerry and Teenage Murant Ninja Turtles And Breathe!!
  13. Currently finishing New Super Mario Bros Wii U off and then probably give Sonic Racing Transformed a bash after
  14. I always have a soft spot for Disney, whether that be their big blockbuster films or their animated cartoons. My personal favourite is The Lion King as it has such a good story, songs and characters. I really enjoyed Wreck It Ralph and wouldn't mind a sequel (as long as it goes into cinemas!!). Another reason I like Disney is their music, be that Hakuna Matata, Friend Like Me or Colours of the Wind, there are so many classics . The cartoons are enjoyable such as Ducktales, Talespin, Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck, Timon and Pumbaa, they just put a big smile on your face. If I had one complaint, don't make sequels of your best work and put it straight onto DVD, they just don't stack up against the blockbusters on the big screen. Finally I have been to Disney in Orlando and Anaheim and they are both really enjoyable for both young and old
  15. Thanks for all the tips guys, it will be mainly for personal use, web surfing, documents and a bit of drawing as well, never been a gamer on the PC mainly console based. I am tempted with a MacBook would have to save a wee bit before Christmas but I havent ruled out a laptop either so will keep that in mind over the coming weeks
  16. Hi Folks, I am currently looking to get a new laptop and have been looking around for a few weeks, but I wanted to gage opinion on whether I should buy a normal run of the mill laptop or spend big with a MacBook, I have a few Apple products but I am not convinced that I should take the plunge with a MacBook or not, so what do you think?
  17. I haven't been a big fan of Big the Cat, i just don't see what the point of him is, even in Sonic Adventure. I can't comment too much on Silver as i didn't play Sonic 06 that much. A group like Jet, Wave and Storm i don't think need to make a reappearance either, i don't believe they made an appearance in the driving Sonic games (correct me if I am wrong). Chip probably wont make reappearances either
  18. My thoughts exactly, and maybe another animated show with the animation of Sonic X and the voice actors from the games would be nice as well, no horrible 4kids editing as well please!!
  19. Sonic the Hedgehog was my first Sonic game but I still maintain that my favourite of them all was Sonic 2
  20. I saw Monsters University a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it, the short before it was really gd as well. Think I will wait until the Blu Ray of Despicable Me 2 comes out before seeing it.
  21. How did you guess!?! I support my local team the Belfast Giants and play a bit as well for the Belfast Ice Foxes(the irony!!) and as you guessed my player number is 25
  22. Hi Folks, My name is Dave. I am from Belfast in Northern Ireland and have been interested in Sonic since I was about 7-8 so easily going on 15-20 years. My interests include Football, Ice Hockey and 10 Pin Bowling. I recently attended Summer of Sonic last weekend and really enjoyed the day. Hopefully I will get to know a few people on here and be able to meet up next year at the event (as long as I can get tickets again!!).
  23. I recently purchased a Wii U for £150 for the basic pack, whilst I enjoy the fact you can walk around your house and keep playing, to me it just looks like a Wii upgrade rather than a brand new console. I know sales have been slow and I don't think they will increase with the PS4 and XB1 coming out (despite their huge price tags). But you never know if Nintendo have an ace up its sleeve (I doubt it though this time)
