The purpose of a union is to protect the pay of its participants. No one can take below a certain pay. That's why when unions go on strike for better wages, people who go to work and take the lower wages, thus hurting the union's cause are called "scabs".

So as long as he's a part of the union, he likely wouldn't have been able to take SEGA's price. Still, its his choice to be a part of that union, and its a good choice as it ensures he only gets work for the pay he wants. It simply meant he was too expensive for SEGA.

I don't really see how Ryan was "screwed" on the way back. Going by what he said, he was too expensive to hire. Simple as that. Roger Craig Smith clearly had no issue with that very same deal, and he gets loads of work to.

SEGA was interested in hiring him back, the deal wasn't good enough for him. This sort of thing happens all the time in the acting business, doesn't make either side "bad".

nuckles87 got a reaction from Blowskiol in Best/Worst Female Sonic Character
Best: I'm sure a lot of other people are going to agree with me here: Blaze the Cat. One could say she's the female version of Knuckles, but regardless this character remains one of the only Sonic characters to actually have in game character development. She starts out as a recluse, preferring to the "Go it alone" route that has proven ever so effective in our foreign policy (but I digress). Over the course of the game she learns, partially through failure, and partially through her friendship with Cream, that friends and allies can be a very valuable asset. So by the end of the game she's fighting side by side with Sonic to defend her world and get the Sol Emeralds back, all while still remaining the single strongest female character in the Sonic universe. She's the closest thing Sonic games have to a tomboy, and a genuine female hero. Story was no work of art, but for a Sonic game it wasn't bad, and Blaze played a big role in making it that good. Though, to be fair to Amy, she doesn't do too bad herself (though she too often plays the damsel in distress).

Worst: A few years ago, I'd have said Amy Rose, but her character has grown on me through her renditions in Archie and Sonic X, and her recent appearances in Sonic Chronicles and Sonic Unleashed, all of which show an independent girl who's still willing to express and pursue her affections for the blue blur, without utterly creepifying people out (seriously, WHAT WAS SHE ON in Heroes?!). Cream, I was going to use a few minutes ago, until I realized the role she played in Blaze's development, and the general niche she fills as the cute innocent girl. So worst, imo, goes to...

Elise. For kissing Sonic on the mouth and all sorts of icky things. Her character was generally pretty bland and unappealing to boot. This may be very short and simple, but it doesn't really need to be anything more: Elise was just a lousy character in a lousy story.

I wrote this in reply to some old comment that'll probably never get read. A word of warning, I'm a democrat and this is from my perspective (though it's all based on fact, though I haven't bothered to fact check every detail).

My point? THERE IS a difference between the parties and the candidates. They are NOT the same. VOTE

Which is why I stated pretty clearly that I'm a democrat, and that this would be from my perspective AS a democrat. I wasn't really trying to make an argument for voting democrats, per se. i If I was I would have facted checked, done research, and posted graphs and charts, I would have taken a look at the Republican perspective and evaluated it, and I would have presented a much more measured arguement. But that wasn't my goal. My point was that the two parties are different. If you disagree with what many democrats want to do and what democrats have proposed, fine. But don't pretend that they are the same party and you don't have a choice. That was my basic point to this commenter, and that was my point in posting it here. If you understand that the two parties are very different, that post was NOT meant for you.

I don't agree with all of Obama's foreign policy, personally. I don't agree with the drone strikes, nor the killing of Americans abroad. At the same time, he's probably had more success in this area then any other because he doesn't need to deal with Congress.

Of course, people need to keep in mind that this doesn't even really have a story....so this is hardly an example of "quality". It's just different then what we ended up with.

My main problem with humans is that they are boring looking, and that the primary cast doesn't fit with them. There is only so much you can do with normal, modern day humans. Mobians, however, an artist can get more creative with. There are many different species to choose from, you can choose from every color under the rainbow, go with unique and interesting hair styles, etc that humans just don't get in the series. On top of that, talking animals help make Sonic's world just a tad more fantastical.

I myself think the best, as with most every disagreement in Sonic, is a mix. Why not have humans AND animal populace? And not just the dozen or so main and secondary characters, but an entire population of background and minor characters. As has been said, Robotnik IS human, and there is no reason for him to be the only human.

    I'm surprised for this comment.
Because the fact that people say that X game needs to bring "Sonic back to his roots". When they don't know that if they want Sonic back to his roots, the games need to be like sprites

Not being a troll or anything. It's just my thinking.
