      sonic lost world already did something like that with the dessert ruins stage

      Frozen desert sounds about right. Pretty basic.

      Mario's ice levels sucked in Galaxy. Jumps were too stiff with an abundance of pitfalls that not even Sonic Heroes can challenge.
