  1. Since mainline 3D Sonic games for the past decade has had mostly 2D sections in them I kinda want Sonic team to make a fully fledge 2D game at this point. Something more akin to the Advance games.

    1. Strickerx5

Since most of their 2D sections have easily been the worst parts of each level... yeah, no thanks.

Also, I just really want a proper fully 3D game.

    2. Dejimon11

I want a proper fully 3D game  game too but the 3D is in most of their games is shallow as hell. It's either you do a quickstep, run in a straight line and occasionally boost. Or when the game requires you to do actual platforming in a platformer especially with the boost formula it's not built around it.

    3. JosepHenry

I say, even colors had like tiiiiny bits of legit fun 3D level design, I want more of that, not 2D.

      I want a full 3D game...

    4. StaticMania

My favorite thing about people saying the 2D sections are the worst part of the levels is that the 2D sections make up most of the level design that actually matters.

      Which is...

    5. TheOcelot

I would also like to see Somic Team create a 2d game but with no boost. Gameplay doesn't need to be 1:1 woth the classic games but should be similar.

  2. Sonic Colors was basically that one filler/breather arc in anime that got so popular by fans because of how the previous storylines weren't that good and the creative staff have been trying to replicate the magic ever since.

    1. Jack out of the comics!

      Jack out of the comics!

I thought it was simply a decent game.

  3. If E3 is cancelled there's nothing stopping companies from doing digital presentations like Nintendo Directs, State of Play, Inside Xbox etc.

      Supah Berry

Au Contraire, if we look in Nintendo's direction and how particularly silent they've been on general non-one game directs for this long (on top of what GAME might've spoiled), I argue there's something stoppin' em...

@Supah Berry Something like one of the bigger game media events in the world being up in the air due to the virus, and therefore their entire plans for the year in terms of reveal scheduling being called into question by the higher ups?

      Wonderworld Ultima

What about companies requesting people to work from home because of the virus being another factor as well

  4. No but seriously the Sonic figurine in LEGO Dimensions was reported to be the fastest selling toy since that game launched so why didn't we get a LEGO Sonic line yet?

I'm really not sure "Sold well within the dieing Toys to life market" means a lot in the grand scheme of things

  5. Yeah till this day i still don't get the Mario and Sonic rivalry. Back in the 90's sure but nowadays it's dumb and stupid.

    1. Strickerx5

So are most long running rivalries. Shit is just memeing at this point. Sure you get the occasional debate of one series doing something that the other doesn’t but that’s just the case with everything.

    2. CrownSlayer’s Shadow

      CrownSlayer’s Shadow

Even during the rivalry, I still played both franchises.

I may have preferred Sonic more than Mario, but who said I couldn’t play both, right?

    3. Thigolf

There are people who straight up hate/dislike Mario for the sole reason of being the "enemy" during the 90s Genesis marketing and it's absolutely blowing my mind that some people still cling onto that

    4. Kuzu

Jealousy and bitterness that Mario is thriving while Sonic....isn't, to put it lightly.

  6. Man talking about Sonic 3 being re-released is exhausting. Like trust me I get it that people want it but with how much Jackson's music has spiked in popularity since his death and whatever company owns it(I think it's Sony) will most likely be asking for a pretty penny for royalties which probably won't justify the amount of people who will buy the game.

  8. The fact that the last Sonic stage in forces is less than 90 seconds is pretty sad.

    1. KHCast

      Terminal velocity act 2.

    2. Thigolf

Terminal Velocity Act 2's only reason why it's so short is because it plays in the story and is supposed to be cinematic. It's very deliberate.

In Forces it's short for no freaking reason.

    3. The Tenth Doctor

      The Tenth Doctor

Which one was that, wasn't it that Classic Sonic autoscroller? Or was it the teamup level to get to the core?

  9. Replaying Forces....yeah it still not good.

    1. McGroose

I played Forces the first time yesterday thanks to the free PS4 giveaway and I got through 1/3 of it.

I don't know how the hell this is possible, but the game is even worse than I thought. Seeing gameplay is one thing, you can get a decent idea of what they did right and what they did wrong. But playing it, feeling the bass-ackwards acceleration, the horrible character flow, the botched physics and horrible gameplay mechanics... seeing is believing, but playing is revealing.

And to think I was this close to considering buying Forces on PC one day on sale, just to see all those cool mods that try to fix the game. You can't fix a fucking turd. I'm glad I didn't waste my money.

    2. Ferno

everytime i try to go back and play it in any of the 4 playstyles, i get too frustrated to finish a stage and quit

    3. The Deleter

      The Deleter

The only fun part about that game is finishing all the challenges with how hard the time limits or score requirements can get, Avatar especially for abusing the heck out of the wisp powers. Past that, it's simultaneously one of the most "it's there" Sonic games out there while also being one of the worst games ever made in the series to me in a lot of ways. The less I find myself thinking about it, the better.

    4. Sean

The only really fun parts of the game were modern Sonic's Chemical Plant (which for some reason is the only one that has branching pathways and a fun level gimmick to play with) and the challenge levels, but like with everything else these were far too short to even enjoy and want to go back to.

    5. Ferno

*when Sonic Team finally uses that Monster Reborn card on Hashimoto*

    6. The Deleter

      The Deleter

Chemical Plant was the best Modern Sonic ever got because the alt routes were all under the cracks of the regular path, which made the level feel tight and open at the same time, and feel like it took actual thought to make it through since the cracks aren't as obvious as "homing attack this" in every other stage. I do think that the Avatar stages are better designed with the missions in mind, though, since they're moreso focused on the amount of rings and enemies defeated in the level than just boosting through everything, so the alt routes feel more worthwhile in the first place.

Prison hall, for example. If it was modern Sonic, hitting the ramp to reach the higher path might mean that you got the faster route, but since the stages are so short it feels basically worthless anyways, being a 1 second difference and all. But with the Avatar, nailing the drift angle to get every ring along the bend, hitting the ramp, then picking up every ring possible in that same section feels way more satisfying in the same frame of reference, so I think the gameplay just works better in general tbh.

      Aside from the handling.

What is wrong with that handling.

  10. Sonic the hedgehog by Platinum games!

And it'll get more praise than it probably deserves only because it plays like every other Platinum title

    1. CrownSlayer’s Shadow
    2. Sean

It might not since a lot of people hated Star Fox Zero.

    3. Dejimon11

Star Fox Zero sucked because it was just 64 AGAIN. Except with a completely different control scheme that just didn't work.

    4. The Tenth Doctor

      The Tenth Doctor

Legend of Korra was a very mixed bag Platinum game.

    5. Sean

In general, a lot of their licensed games have rocky reception, with Nier Automata being the exception. With Korra/Transformers/TMNT, you could probably blame some of that on Activision because it's, uh, Activision. It also seemed like they didn't have much creative control over SFZ? I'm open to a P+ developed Sonic game but it really depends on how Sega lets them handle the project, if at all.

    6. Sega DogTagz

      Sega DogTagz

If Pstar wants to make a Sonic game let them do it. Their passion projects are always outstanding.

If anything, it would be nice to get something to knock Unleashed off its podium for best looking Sonic game. Its 10+ years old and almost 2 generations ago. A platinum Sonic would likely make faces melt.

    7. The Deleter

      The Deleter

Have it incorporate the ramming moves that Transformers had so that all the boss battles are Sonic looping round and attempting to approach his opponent as fast as possible for more damage, landing blows when he gets the change, and ricocheting off the metal/from the explosions back into the environment/level design.

Also make him slice through enemies like a buzz saw rather than boop-ing them. Kicking them would be the homing attack. Punching them would be a crowd control move from a temporary boost.

Give the movement some good levels to traverse inbetween and pump the rock and base for boss battles, and you'd be golden.

Also everyone complains about platinum's role in SFZ but no one talks about how many more arcadey mechanics they (iirc) brought to the series that made the gameplay better and more intense, like shooting debris of enemies, charge shot combos, instant-lock shots and arc-ing the charge shots around corners. Nobody appreciated it but the shmup action in that game was next level.

  11. Here's your reminder that Silver and Big were characters who were hated by fans and critics a like for years and were always the butt within this franchise. The only saving grace for Silver was the supplementary material with the comic books and Evan Standley's web comic. Big was loved due to ironic shitposting and memes and now they're fan favorites.

    1. altum_dolorem

Pfff, I liked Big before it was cool.

    2. Kuzu

The funny thing about Silver is that he became likable by just upping his dork traits.

  12. So thoughts on Re:Mind? It's alright a bit pricey for what it's asking for

    1. KHCast

Wait for a discount. Or GotY edition. Unless you’re into super hard bosses, the content that’s there doesn’t really justify the price. Premium menu is cool, but feels like a feature that should have been in the free update

    2. Wraith

There's some cool stuff in it but  it's just not a lot of content for what they're asking for. The way they handled content distribution/price makes the whole thing more of a drag than it needs to be also.

A lot of the changes and new content make KH3 a better game but not good enough to warrent a replay just yet. Maybe in a few years.

    3. KHCast

Maybe I’m just spoiled from expansions like Skyrim and Witcher 3, and Spiderman, but yeah this didn’t really feel all that grand of a add on. I was really hoping they’d add a coliseum mode or something at the very least to possibly add some more replay value, but alas. Doesn’t help that this more or less just feels like it’s filling the holes of things that just should have been there to start.

    4. Dejimon11

Can we also talk about the very first thing they showed in the last Re:Mind trailer was the FF characters aka everybody's biggest complaint about the game and then they only showed up for 2 scenes? You can't even exist merlin's house wtf?

    5. KHCast

I’m pretty sure that stuff was rushed, cause if you talk to them (namely Yuffie and Aerith) after you complete the limit cut, they talk to you as if you aren’t Riku. Which gives me the impression data Sora was possibly going to be who you played as afterwards.(yuffies words strongly imply this especially)

    6. Sean

I haven't picked it up because I still have yet to get back into KH3 and I'm still reeling over paying full retail for it. Maybe when it hits 10 dollars or less, since I'm interested in SOME features but not all of them (I don't care about superbosses in games usually).

    7. Wraith

I liked the changes they made to the ending overall but it felt like it could have been a patch or something. Selling it as an entirely new scenario when a lot of the playable content is extremely similar feels a little slimy.

Still, uh, Kairi got to do things so I couldn't hate.

I haven't tried the limit cut bosses yet because I don't have the patience to grind anymore. I barely had it when 2 was out and I have less freetime than ever now. I grinded Sora up like 15 levels before I wanted to just play something else.

More time put into a whole new post game scenario would have been preferable to just patching the ending up but I'm guessing the time and manpower wasn't there for something like that.

    8. KHCast

I still can’t believe there was no option to play with these other characters outside these limited scenarios. They really hyped those up, so I was expecting being able to play with them in like a mirage arena type thing or in the keyblade graveyard via a freeroam option. Hell, data greeting would have been a perfect excuse to have them be playable

    9. Sean

I still don't understand this series' aversion to multiple playable characters in a freeroam setting; even all the way back in KH2 I had always wished you could play as Mickey outside of three or so battles where you have to deliberately lose.

    10. KHCast

They could just do what Devil May Cry 3 did, and have it just be the non-Sora characters going through these worlds alone with no story, triggering the “events” without the plot in order to advance. Tho I guess it’d require extra coding when you throw in the required gimmicks like the Gigas stuff, Pirate Ship stuff, snow sleading, etc.

    11. Wraith

Sora has an insane amount of animations, a lot of which are for world exclusive events/mechanics. I can see why they didn't bother this time

    12. Bobnik

Here's a question - why do people expect more than what's been shown or stated in press? They always said the playable characters are gonna be limited to the ReMind episode and limited scenarios. They said and showed that ReMind episode is gonna be mostly a Graveyard revisit with added context. I understand being disappointed by the content itself, but being disappointed because of expecting more than what's been promised is kinda dumb IMO.

THAT SAID, however, it's definitely not worth 30 bucks if you just want the ReMind episode and don't care about super hard stuff.

    13. KHCast

Thing is tho, how many people watching these trailers that aren’t dedicated fans read up on the press briefings? Even then, I still figured we’d get at least more than like 3 minutes with each of these characters given how much they were being played up as one of the selling features of the content

    14. Blue Blood

      Blue Blood

@Bobnik I don't know the first thing about KH so this is just a shot in the dark but I feel like people often say "why did everyone expect stuff we weren't told to expect" when they misunderstand the situation. It's not that people we're expecting more than is shown in the press/trailers, its that they were expecting more regardless and that they the feel price doesn't match up to what's on offer.

    15. KHCast

Also it’s not like game developers aren’t above lying or misdirecting, so like, I don’t think you can put the blame entirely on the customer

    16. JosepHenry

@KHCast Not for nothing but there is nothing about Yuffie and Aerith that says "that was not for riku", Aerith's "you will tell Kairi about this.... right?" Was definitely for Riku. Actually showing Riku and Kairi are not even the best of friends anymore if she has to say ".... right?" lol

I dont think it was rushed at all just not what people wanted or it wasn't worth the price. Remind is the complete KH3 experience.  Heck, if it wasnt for fan outcry the FF characters wouldnt even be in this game I tell ya.

I say is fine but not 30 dollars worth, remind is pretty meh with lots of repeated bosses but the limitcut data fights are awesome. If you are interested in the story watch it on yt.

    17. KHCast

She literally says “so there’s a clue inside Riku’s dream?” And Yuffie specifically thanks Sora's data as if she’s talking to it

    18. Nina Cortex Jovahexeon

      Nina Cortex Jovahexeon

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Remind is essentially an overpriced case of "Please pay us more money for stuff that should have been in the base campaign to begin". The bosses really aren't that fun to deal with either.

And even when do deliver on things it either feels half-baked or just downright rushed.

    19. Bobnik

@Blue Blood I would agree if the same exact thing didn't happen with the actual game. A lot of complaints people have were based on them expecting more than what Square essentially promised and delivered. I don't completely blame the consuuumers for that, but I'd assume people would learn from this.

And even if you don't read the press briefings or news, Square trailers are Square trailers.

    20. JosepHenry

@KHCastI honestly just think is just shoddy translation (KH3 suffered a lot from that), and Yuffie thanking Data Sora is not super out of place. I dont think they would talk to Data Sora or something like that, everything seems to fall into place either way. It was just an excuse to have the data bosses, the main story is fully complete.

Listen if remind was in the main game it wouldnt make sense to have the answers to the story in the main, they had to work a ton to make this dlc, it cant be just a free update. Sure it could be less pricey, but pay nothing for it then is asking too much, and people love the data bosses, saying it is one of the best bosses of KH ever. Don't like it? Ok, but want it to be for free? Nah.

Also "pay for stuff that should be on the main game to begin with" is that or actually paying for the vanilla version of KH3, and then paying for another version of KH3 with more stuff on it. Sounds familiar? Yeah, the final mix versions were just the same game once again with a little more added, same price. This is a 10 hours  (depending how much you last to die to the bosses) worth of extra content. That is a LOT.

    21. Nina Cortex Jovahexeon

      Nina Cortex Jovahexeon

@JosepHenry Counterpoint: The vanillas we got in the past never really felt like they were blatantly missing anything,  unlike KH3 which definitely has gaping holes.

Also, making bosses the way they were in ReMind to arbitrarily add on game time, is NOT good design if that's what you're arguing.

  13. So what are the best JRPGs to recommend to somebody who's only played Pokemon and Paper mario?

    1. Sean

Mega Man Battle Network, The World Ends with You, Super Mario RPG, and Chrono Trigger are some of my favorite RPGs that aren't like the typical DQ/FF style of JRPG and I think they're more interesting to me for it.

    4. PC the Hedgehog

      PC the Hedgehog

I assume if you've played the Paper Mario games, you've also played Super Mario RPG and the Mario and Luigi games. If not...yeah, those. I honestly find the first three Mario and Luigi games far superior to anything in the Paper Mario series, and Super Mario RPG is one of the best video games of all time.

Other good RPGS I can think of in a similar vein...Destiny Connect, Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth, maybe World of Final Fantasy/Maxima?

    5. Cayenne

      Mother 3

      Phantasy Star IV

      Beyond Oasis/Story of Thor

      Crusader of Centy/Soleil

      Super Mario RPG

Those 5 are very good games for people that don't have much experience with RPGs.

    6. JezMM

Tbh if someone has played Paper Mario TTYD I'd just be like "nah man you got it, that's it, everything's downhill from there"

      undertale, probably

    8. Cuz

If you're looking for something very old school Pokémon, (and/or want to break into Final Fantasy without jumping off the deep-end) try Final Fantasy V. It's job system opens up into flexible party customizing, and you only need to catch 4 crystals, not 151 party members. 😛 For an FF it has a relatively simple story structure once again akin to Pokémon. They even have their own damn nuzlocke challenges in the form of 4 job fiestas... Don't subject yourself to those.

  15. Judging by @Ryannumber1gamer's impressions it looks like Mega ManX really peaked with X4. Good to know.

    1. Ryannumber1gamer

It did, but what's infuriating is that X8 was just this close. Even with the gimmick filled levels, it fixes so many issues in the X series that have been present from X1. Letting you escape with having to finish a stage first, letting you get full health upgrades for everyone instead of spreading heart tanks between three characters, turning off navigators, good voice work, trying to get rid of Sigma as the main villain etc.

I keep harping on about it, but I am legitimately 100% serious when I say all of X8's major issues would've been dealt with if they'd just stuck with X4-7's game over mechanic of letting you start off either half-way in the level, or starting at your last checkpoint. If it had done that, it wouldn't have been as good as X1 or X4, but it would've been good enough to excuse it's major problems and place it around X2's category of decent enough. Instead, the replay chip ruins it entirely.

It's honestly an interesting study into how one very simple mechanic regression can ruin what otherwise would've been a decent game.

  16. It's kinda scary how similar Mega Man X5 and Sonic Adventure 2 have similar story beats and came out in the same year....in America anyways.

    1. Sean

Heroes should have followed up on an "ARK crashes into earth and kills millions of people" ending like X6 did to X5, for some bizarre reason.

ZX's premise is so fucking fanficcy even for this damn series that it hurts

    8. Polkadi~☆

It even has a character who was once a child aged up and inexplicably in an authoritative role.

      ...Fuck, it really is fanficcy.

    9. Sean

Mega Man is no longer the name of a character but rather a group of individuals doing... whatever vague shit the game doesn't bother clarifying. You're an orphaned child with a traumatic backstory and a mentor you look up to who dies in the first 30 seconds. And you're the chosen one to restore peace from a corrupt corporate CEO using the powers of past heroes' souls, who chose you because you're the chosen one to do chosey chosen one things and aaauuuughghhghhaljljwea

  17. I see people asking for Ben to be the voice of Sonic but im just wondering if SEGA wants to afford him

    1. Kuzu

Given that they have nothing to do with the movie...

    2. Ferno

apparently they can't even afford to use GHZ whenever they want to so...

    3. Myst

They couldn't even afford Drummond's salary for Generations.

Besides, Ben wouldn't take the role. He's too busy with stand-up and other TV shows and movies. Playing Sonic in a big budget Hollywood production is one thing, but taking a video game gig would be a huge step down for him.

    4. Shaddy Zaphod

      Shaddy Zaphod

Honestly I don't like him much as Sonic. As long as the movie has nothing to do with the games, I'd rather see the two kept as separate as possible

    5. Myst

I love Ben as Sonic, but I agree. Keep Roger for the games, Ben for the movie.

  18. I talked about this on twitter yesterday. It's kinda annoying how half assed Sonic plots have been for the past decade. Lost World the writers admitted that they didn't know how to resolve the plot and had the Deadly 6 disappear off screen leaving their fates ambiguous.

Forces Infinite just flies away and we don't know what happened to him or Eggman at the end of the game in the most anti climatic way possible. There's a throwaway line by Rouge that they were righting multiple copies of him but we never saw it at all.

Generations forgot it had a plot like a 1/3 into the the game. And Colors had that one line about Sonic and Tails not seeing Yacker for a while and never going into that.

    1. Blue Blood

      Blue Blood

That line about Yacker seems to have been a remnant of an earlier draft. I think that in Colours DS you can infer or get told that it's because he's looking for his Mother. I dont remember entirely though, and that entire plot element is missing from the Wii version anyway.

The plots not only seem half-arsed, but also whittled down and not adjusted to compensate. The state of the plotholes/retcons/contradictions/ambiguity in Forces is really poor.

Is Classic Sonic from the past or an alternate dimension?

Is the Phantom Ruby a creation of Eggman, a stone from Angel Island in  Classic Sonic's time/dimension, or a rock that randomly appeared outside Eggman's base one day? It went through the portal with Sonic at the end of Mania, but apparently already existed in Forces world?

Why was Green Hill already desertified and filled with  destroyed Death Egg Robot Sentinels (and sandworms from The Lost Hex) before Eggman took over?

Why was "City" already under attack in Episode Shadow?

Where was Shadow during the events of Forces he before showed up to defeat one of his clones?

Why are the Emeralds totally absent? I just fund this a bit egregious, especially considering that Knuckles is the guardian of the Master Emerald but can lead the resistance just fine and doesn't bat an eyelid over it.

Who fixed Omega? He shows up at the end out of literal nowhere.

Was Infinite a creation of Eggman, or the leader of a random mercenary squad that Eggman for some reason took a special liking to and trusted with his ultimate weapon?

Where was GUN? On a different planet cause of the whole "two worlds" bollocks? Fuck off

  19. Backed the Wonderful 101 you can't say I didn't put my money where my mouth is.

  20. So how about that Wonderful 101?

    1. Wraith

tomorrow we unite the fuck up

    2. Dejimon11

I just want to finally play the damn game. But man I don't know how to feel about them doing a kickstarter.

    3. Kuzu

@Dejimon11 Literally no other company was going to publish it because of how badly it sold on Wii U.

    4. Wraith

its hilarious that nobody, not even platinum wants to take another bet on this game. if this is how it has to be for a modern port though then so be it. I''ll drop whatever they ask for to secure a copy

    5. Kuzu

Platinum's games, for whatever reason, just never sell well at all.

    6. Wraith

They've been doing fine for a while now. This one in particular was a bomb but it was in 2013

    7. Dejimon11

It was poorly marketed, released at the worst time possible and came out when it was a sign that nobody cared about the Wii U.

    8. Nina Cortex Jovahexeon

      Nina Cortex Jovahexeon

Eh? What is all this noise about?

    9. Zaysho

Always meant to finish it on Wii U. I remember really enjoying it, so I might pop in my copy some time.

    10. Dejimon11

      @Nina Cortex Jovahexeon

TLDR: Platinum wants ports of W101 but nobody wanted to fund it so they're resorting to kickstarter to fund it on Switch, PS4 and XBO. Apparently they bought the rights to the IP from Nintendo which is why they're able to do it

    11. Nina Cortex Jovahexeon

      Nina Cortex Jovahexeon

Wow. They really want to make it a thing, don't they?

    12. The Deleter

      The Deleter

It's one of my favorite games but leaving the fate of a financially unsuccessful and critically tepid game in the hands of the few fans/unfamilliar masses has me real worried tbh

If any wonder-eyes millionaires wanna unite up now's the time y'all

    13. Wraith

I'm putting money down on it cause Kamiya is my dad but idk how many fsilthul like me there are out there

  21. I hate that I spend more time debating what game I should play than playing the game myself.

    1. Sean

lol same. And another issue I have is that I buy new games and spend most of my time playing old ones.

  22. Dude to what happened last time SEGA made another year of sonic I'm incredibly skeptical.

    1. dbzfan7

Would be nice if we got Year of Someone else but only Nintendo doesn't have a mixed brand.

  23. My ONLY pet peeve about Byleth being in smash bros is that Sakurai kept saying that Rex and Springman couldn't make it in the game because of timing and the game was in development before their games came out but here's a character that was from a game that came out like 5-6 months ago.

    1. Strickerx5

he jumped the gun and made them costumes

everyone knows that automagically deconfirms them

    2. Dejimon11

He made Springman an assist trophy tho. Like regardless of how you feel about the game itself I think that the cast would of brought something unique to the table considering they have a wide variety of weapons and some have special abilities etc instead of just being a glorified little mac clone with a longer reach as some people claim.

    3. Strickerx5

I mean, I think you know by now that you're talking to the wrong person when it comes to anything regarding Arms man lol.

Though yeah, it could be interesting. Though, then again, so would a lot of other characters from better series.

    4. Dejimon11

Bro you want Geno you hush right now.

    5. Strickerx5

I mean, I don't want Geno. I just think his fans deserve him at this point.

They've been holding out since brawl for that one.

If I had it my way we'd be getting characters like Shantae, Master Chief, Tails, Lucio, Rayman, and/ or maybe Goku just to piss people off more.

    6. Zaysho

Byleth getting in for pass 1 makes me hope pass 2 has my boy and girl, just give me that at least.

    7. Strickerx5

Fuck, wait, replace Lucio with the Chorus Kids.

I need a fucking Rhythm Heaven rep

    8. Nina Cortex Jovahexeon

      Nina Cortex Jovahexeon

Shantae, Master Chief, Tails, Lucio, Rayman,

Throw in Phoenix Wright and you'd be quite the wise man.

    9. Dejimon11

Bro this status is almost 2 months old.

    10. Nina Cortex Jovahexeon

      Nina Cortex Jovahexeon

Doesn't change the validity of what I said, brother.

    11. Zaysho
    12. Nina Cortex Jovahexeon

      Nina Cortex Jovahexeon

@Zaysho Who are your "boy" and"girl" anyway?

    13. Zaysho

Rex and Pyra, but I'm honestly not expecting them. They're just the ones I wanted to see the most after Banjo-Kazooie.

    14. Nina Cortex Jovahexeon

      Nina Cortex Jovahexeon

Ah, I see. I know how you feel though. Granted, possibly even worse given the state of Phoenix Wright regarding Smash.

  24. So who here has actually played a Fire Emblem game?

    1. Perkilator

I have! My first time actually playing an FE game was the Awakening demo back in around 2014.

My first full FE game was Shadows of Valentia, which I played in 2018. And I’ve been a fan since, playing Awakening, Birthright, and Three Houses.

    2. Diogenes

i played part of that one that was in the 3ds ambassador thing

      couldn't really stick with it

    3. Kuzu

Genealogy and currently playing Three Houses,

    4. Milo

I played the demo for Awakening and ultimately bought the game proper

So far it's done a good job at filling the SRPG void in my heart that Sega (Shining Force) has neglected

    5. TCB

      Not me

...Does Project X Zone 2 count

    6. Crow the BOOLET

      Crow the BOOLET

      I've played several actually

I actually started with Mystery of the Emblem for the Super Famicom because I found a ROM translation for it and it turns out its one of those 2 games in one deals as it has the first game in it.

But I've actually played most of the series believe it or not.

    7. altum_dolorem

I've played most of them too.

    8. Solly

If you count remakes, I've played all of them...

      Excited for Byleth!

    9. Sonictrainer

Echoes was my first Fire Emblem.

I'm 3 out of 4 Routes in Three Houses.

    10. Cayenne

I've played Fire Emblem (GBA), The Sacred Stones (GBA), Awakening (3DS) and Genealogy of the Holy War (SFC). This series isn't for me, though. I'm more of a Shining Force/Final Fantasy Tatics/Disgaea person.

    11. Menace2Society

I’ve played a bit of The Blazing Sword. That’s about it, though

    12. Strickerx5

I played Path of Radiance for a bit during my "Holy shit Melee is the best thing ever! Who are all these characters! I need to play all of their games! Nintendo is so much better than the other two!" phase in my life.

I played it for like an hour, thought that it was neat, and promptly gave it back to a friend and forgot about it.

    13. Teoskaven

Basically, everything on GBA and DS, plus Awakening. Also Heroes, if that counts.

    14. Red

I've played Sacred Stones, Awakening, Fates, Echoes and Three Houses. Currently going through FE 7 tho that's on hold until I 100% Three Houses.

  25. Tokyo Mirage Sessions looks neat. I'll pick it up later down the line.
