Look at that comeback!

Doing some research of Mighty No.9 and it's amazing how much of a train wreck this entire thing ended up being. With the over promising, working on 10 different platforms, lack of communication, being screwed over by Deep Silver and that God awful disaster that was Red Ash. 
I don't think the game itself is bad but everything surrounding it and what it represents it's hard not to justify the hate. Like man could you imagine if this was managed properly? 

Man, John Boyega has only got more powerful the longer he's been free of Star Wars

Not sure why people think that you can't tell an interesting Mario story that isn't an RPG. It's not like they're plenty of characters though the series history that can could use. 
Should clarify in terms of other mediums like a comic book or a movie. You can tell more than "Peach gets kidnapped by Bowser"

I don't know what it is about youtubers that try so hard to be funny that jut irritates me. Like just get on with the point you're trying to make you don't have to waste time dwelling on a joke. 

One more thing this isn't a jab at the game at all but it says a lot that more people still talk about Sonic Robo Blast 2 Kart than TSR

I think the hardest part for my parody animation is going to be arranging the sounds. I've already done most of the drawing required.

Sonic fans on Twitter are getting mad at IGN again after their Unleashed review and dunking on Egoraptor for a tweet he made 7 years ago. TLDR; the drought is driving people insane

You see the problem with the state of the Mario RPGs is irritating because you'd think after the success and praise with Odyssey for being creative they would actually give more creative freedom with the rest of the Mario spinoffs. Aces was a step in the right direction but idk.

I think it just stings that a lot of the aspects I liked about Mario - like uniquely designed/named Toads and members of the various enemy species - have probably been soft-retconned out existence.
Yeah yeah, "lol Mario canon." But I got a lot of enjoyment out of the diverse and interesting world of this series and I hate how comparably limited it is now compared to how it used to be.
It's not just that I miss characters like Goombario or Goombella; It's the sad realization that characters like that are no longer allowed to exist under Mario's current direction. That the creative Mario world I fell in love with is gone and probably isn't coming back, ever.

Hey guys! Guess who just graduated college today and made it into the high honor rolls?

I saw Advent Children. That was a mistake. 

Every sonic video essay now will have at least 1 of the following 
-mentions the series history
-talks about the dark ages
-doesn't like the current direction
-Mario is basic/bland or bad 
-Writing is bad
-Feels like the world is against them for being a sonic fan
